Hampton Inn & Suites Merced

The room was nice, roomy, and clean. I was able to park by a side entrance and enter/exit through there with my room card, which made it easy to come and go without having to walk farther or take the elevator. Breakfast was good. It's also included with the stay, so that's always a plus. They had biscuits and gravy one morning. Hash browns, eggs, and sausage another morning. Every morning, there was always coffee, juices, waffles, muffins, toast, and cereal to choose from as well. I wont recommend walking anywhere after dark or going alone. There is a lot of homeless with mental illness hanging around the area. During the day it wasnt so bad. A lot of shopping stores and restaurants are about 15 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Merced.

I must admit...The Hampton Inn & Suites in Merced is one of the most comfortable hotel properties I have found. I am now 75 years old. I spent 12 years workinf in Asia, 5 years running a company throughout Europe...I still work from 6am until 11pm each day.
In order to live such a demanding lifestyle on the road....Where you call home is very important.
At the Hampton Inn & Suites in Merced you will feel as if you were in your own home. The Staff is incrediblel !!!

the housekeeping Staff; Patricia, Monica, Tatiana....All your questions will be answered; All your needs will be addressed.
When you wake up each morning;
Ashley and Tanya will have a Wonderful Buffet Breakfast waiting for you....The food is diversified and Excellent !!!
The Hotel has a Pool and a Workout facility.
The Rooms are Comfortable, Great Wide Screen TVs with a wide variety of viewing for the whole family.
You cannot go wrong with the Hampton Inn & Suites in Merced.

I don't often leave a review for places, but I HAD TO after my stay...I stayed the night with 3 toddlers, and the service was just exceptional...though we had a few mishaps, the staff were very kind, understanding and helpful...there are definitely a few issues with maintenance, but the service definitely makes up for it...it was by far one of the best hotels I've been to in the area, I'll DEFINITELY be staying here again...

Great service and very professional wonderful experiance with staff specially Raquel and Carol very happy. There was one rude employee i think her name was prea all she did was talk on her cell phone and didnt even know how to check me in when we asked her for towels or anything we needed she would tell us to hold on that she was on a personal call thanks to managment and the other employees that made up for her lack of customer service. If i would recommend one this is change that employee.

Such a nice stay here! The amenities are great. Loved the hot breakfast (warm scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, small breakfast burritos, juice, bagels, biscuits, fresh waffle maker, etc). The staff is super nice and flexible. The rooms are spacious. The pool is nice for a warm day. Only minor complaint is that you cannot change the TV input to plug in your own device. Overall, a really pleasant stay and the perfect place to stay at when visiting Yosemite.

Hospitality is very good. Staff was very friendly and nice. Rooms were clean and met the needs perfectly. Very close to downtown and gas stations. Would definitely recommend and love to come back.

Great stay, the spa is a plus when having back pain. The housekeeping staff was amazing an very helpful, friendly, they greet you everytime you walk by. Made me feel very welcomed nice clean rooms, a young lady even helped us with a cart to carry out belongings when they didn't have a luggage cart available sweet girl.

Love the beds, for me the bed in my room was exceptional. Not too soft and not so hard that you felt like you were on the floor. There was no coffee maker in the room, but all the supplies to make a cup was available. I really appreciate that the bathroom included a walk in shower with sliding glass doors. The room was very clean.

I love this hotel! We stayed on the way from Yosemite to San Francisco. Checked in around 9pm. We were so happy that the pool was working until 10pm. So we had a really good time at the pool and hot tub. The hotel looks new and modern. Breakfast was included. They had cereals, muffins, bagels and eggs. Next day when we got to San Francisco (2 hours drive) I realized that I forgot my Apple Watch at the hotel. I was so disappointed, that we will have to drive back. I called them and they said they found it and can ship it to me! I created a shipping label on UPS with pickup service and after two days I got my Apple Watch packed so carefully in a soft toy, wrapped in a towel! That amazed me! What a great customer service!!! Not only they saved my watch, but they packed it for shipping! Thank you so much!!!

Very nice set up. Peaceful and perfect set up. This will be where I stay if I ever need somewhere to go.

I've stayed here twice now for short business trips.
The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast is fantastic, decent variety. From eggs to waffles, fruit, cereal and yogurt.
It has been quiet for my stays.
Only negative I can say is parking lot can be pretty full if you are coming in late at night.

Very courteous staff and the breakfast, which is in its nice waiting/main area, is much better than many of the usual hotel complimentary breakfasts. It's not the fanciest with a basic non-smart TV and smaller table in the regular rooms but still nice. It all looked very clean.

Amazing service. Clean and spacious rooms. If you're going to Yosemite, this is the place to stay before continuing your trip there or anywhere south or north of Hwy 99.

I love this hotel! Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, big shower and excellent service! Breakfast was delicious. I came down from out of state for a wedding and this hotel was beyond what I expected. Michelle at the front desk was AMAZING! She was a great help and answered all of my questions!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and big. Plus, a great breakfast! The hotel is also close to other restaurants. Definitely coming back.

Staff went above and beyond! My son is a crybaby and Yvette held him while I filled out paperwork. My shower was pissing me off and she came up to fix the problem. There were no bedbugs and room was squeaky clean. I plan to come here again. By the way, the breakfast is the best! Every hotel in Merced looked ghetto, this one was the only one that had a beautiful presentation in the front and lobby. I was not disappointed.

Loved this room and hotel in general. I stay overnight in many hotels and the lady who checked me in was so pleasant and helpful. I saw they had a little shop behind her and I asked to buy a razor since I had forgotten mine, only to find out that the razor and shaving cream we're complimentary. When I came back down to head to the gym, she checked in with me and asked how my room was, abd made pleasant small talk. The room itself was great. Very nice setup, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed, nice desk to work at, quiet room... Overall I was very happy with my stay and will be using this hotel as a normal place to stay when I'm working in the valley

Just recently stayed there. Customer service was excellent, very professional and personable. My wife and I checked in about 2:30 pm on 2/1/2021, I apologize for not remembering their names, the employee working the front desk was friendly, had a great attitude and answered whatever questions that we had . Overall great experience. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you everyone that works there. Keep up the great work, it shows.

Staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in up to the time we checked out. The beds were comfortable and rooms were well cleaned and great. Over all great experience! Will definitely be returning to this hotel.
