Lee's Community Food Market

The hands down, best Asian market in Merced. It's also a community hub serving members of the local community. The local Asian farmers bring in gorgeous produce that they sell at very low prices .You can find fresh specialty items like lemongrass and kafir lime leaves. And they have a large selection of Asian canned goods for Asian recipes.
Oh, and everyone who works there is really, really nice.
Highly recommended.

It’s a small place with helpful staff that has a nice selection of Asian food basics at reasonable prices. They have a rather impressive selection of produce and all of it is very high quality. This is my new go to marketplace for anything Asian food related.

I have purchased 3 5 gallon of water and the water refill is only 1.50 you pay 2.50 outside of savemart. Always clean always friendly 🤎

This Hmong store is so amazing! We got here before they opened and the produce comes in fresh from the local farmers. They have a lot of hot foods to go, we wanted to get everything but it was early morning. Definitely coming back here when I pass by Merced!

Lee’s is awesome, they have a great selection of fresh produce and their fried chicken and rice is amazing, they also have outstanding curry sometimes. They carry noodle and fried rice which is tasty too. All of their hot and ready food is so good. They carry a wonderful selection of specialty ingredients and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend checking lees market out!

I've been here multiple times and I find this place to be great if you are needing to get Asian foods and ingredients that you cannot find anywhere in your local grocery stores. They also have cooked food you can buy like chicken and sticky rice and spring rolls. I recommend you get there early though before they run out. The food goes quick. The pricing is very reasonable as well.

Lee's market is reasonably priced with authentic products. The produce is especially affordable. Also the cashiers are helpful, friendly people. I just went today so I can get the items needed for homemade sushi and got the assistance I needed. I love shopping there!

This is our favorite market. They have seasonal locally grown produce for reasonable prices. There are many specialty items for the South East Asian kitchen/cuisine. The fresh food is always in high demand. I recommend going prior to 11 am to catch some fresh and hot foods (to avoid the crowd).

Only store ive seen selling the Rooster brand Sriracha sauce. Big Ramen noodle selection, Asian products and fresh produce. Fried chicken and sticky rice was bomb with that super spicy chili paste 🌶🌡🔥💯🥵😅

I always get my food there for the weekends. Better then McDonald's.

This store is just about the one stop shop for your Asian cuisine. They not only have the food and seasoning they have the proper cookware as well. There are people here that are more than willing to help if you ask. There's so much to look at and they even have prepared food to buy if you forgot your lunch that day. I have been coming to this store off and on for a while now. I even got advice from one of the associates on which ingredient was best for a dish I was making. The aisles are narrow but that's only because they have so much to choose from and only one store like it for miles.

Man I love Mr Lee's Market let me tell you I come here probably about twice a week and get the sticky chicken with the rice and it is so delicious every single time it's hot it's tender juicy moist and crispy. Mr Lee ain't going to hurt your pocket but he sure will feel your belly. Now that I told you the secret don't be greedy save some for the rest of us.

My favorite store descent prices and the stuffed chicken wings are awesome . They also have egg rolls that are great . They've got fresh veggies, I really like this store.

For being so small it's pretty good. I moved to Merced from an area that had a robust Japanese grocery store, but I have had a hard time in the Central Valley finding what I need for some of the dishes I cook at home. Lee's is probably one of the better places in the area to go to for looking for Japanese specific items. They usually carry some good local produce, a decent amount of different mushrooms. Beyond that they also have very delicious hot foods during lunch time. If you are looking for specific stuff for Japanese cuisine, try here, but know that you might have to drive out to the bay area to find it.

I just come here for the eggrolls and have never been disappointed
