This is my favorite gym in Merced, has lots of new equipment and since the opening of the Atwater one it's been pretty easy to get to all the equipment.

The staff has been super nice - but other than that the place is pretty dingy, lots of broken machines, only one cable rack, and machines that aren't broken but are so worn out and wobbly they should probably be trashed. It's more than twice what I paid at planet fitness and not even close to their caliber in terms of facilities. Sometimes other gym goers decide to forgoe the use of headphones and instead blast their horrible mumble rap on a personal Bluetooth speaker, for whatever reason. There's also a PA stereo playing, so that's always fun. Lastly, they're not open 24 hours. But, it suffices as a gym for the mean time - hence the two stars instead of one.

NEED TO FIX TREADMILLS!!! Huge problem when I go I’m about to start my second mile and it’s shuts off on me. Huge hazard as well! Other than that I believe everything is great.
