CrossFit Merced

I had a great experience at CrossFit Merced, and I highly recommend it. I was in town for a few months and looking for a gym. I decided to join CrossFit Merced after being away from CrossFit for a few years and I’m glad I did. The owner (John), the coaches, and the members were very welcoming and encouraging. The coaches were always available to answer questions or give pointers, and the programming (Level Method) made it easy to assess where I was at and ramp up from there. I miss working out with the afternoon crew, but I’ll be dropping in anytime I’m in town.

I stopped into CrossFit Merced for workout. I'm from out of town, John (owner) and everybody there was very accommodating and welcoming. It's a really nice setup (clean gym with all the amenities). I will definitely dropping in next time I'm in town visiting. I recommend you check them out! Thanks again CrossFit Merced!

I was strongly encouraged by my sister to join CrossFit merced as she had found a strong interest in the fitness club from their instagram posts. We are both into our 3rd month with the team and we are enjoying consistently going every morning! The 8:15 am crew and coaches are the most encouraging people we have encountered with the highest energy! 💪🏼 Thank you CrossFit merced for welcoming us and helping us reach our fitness goals! 10/10 highly recommend!

Crossfit Merced changed my life for the better in so many ways. With consistent training in the CrossFit methodology I can do things in my 50’s I couldn’t do in my 20’s, 30’s or 40’s. Since adding CrossFit to my life I’m a better career job manager, husband, father, friend, and now a grandfather. Its fun group fitness led my coaches and trainers with experience and know how. Start where you are and get batter every day. It’s pretty simple as a concept.You wont regret it once you do the har depart and walk through the front doors and meet a welcoming group of people.

Crossfit merced has positively challenged my mental health and physical strength! Everyone is so friendly here and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to workout with a group with the same mindset.

I have been going to CrossFit Merced for almost 5 years and it has changed my life! I lost 80lbs while working out at CrossFit in my first year as a member. The members and coaches create the most positive community of like minded individuals which makes working out fun and exciting. CrossFit is for everyone and I would highly recommend CrossFit Merced to anyone looking to lose weight, gain muscle, or just start moving their body!

I’ve only been here I want to say almost 2 months and I’m already seeing results! Consistency is key but when you have such welcoming team and coaches it makes even more easier to show up. I love how they break everything down from the simplest workout to the more technical ones. Everyone is willing to help and get you where you want to be and that is major help. I 100% recommend this place !❤

I started with PT and I absolutely loved it but I wanted further challenge myself and moved into CrossFit. At first I was nervous, but as I continued going I felt welcome by the community and the coaches do well in checking your form and helping you get familiar with the movements. Great gym!

Highly recommend coming here, everybody is very nice and supportive. I honestly came here for help not expecting a lot, and boy they delivered! Helped me get to my goals and made me feel awesome. I made more progress than I ever tried to in the past. Thanks to coach Hailey, she made me push myself but was considerate enough to not let me throw my intestines out but once lol, it was a test... i passed. Overall great experience 100/10. If you want change come here!!!

Great gym we’ll set up! Was in town for 5 days went to a night class then 4 classes at 5 am felt very welcoming everyone was so nice! Great coaches too John, Justin and Wyatt were very knowledgeable! Can’t wait to drop in again some day!

My short time at CrossFit Merced was great! The coaches were amazing and very helpful. Not only were the coaches helpful but the people around me were also amazing. I would highly recommend CrossFit Merced.

I have been a member at CFM since 2018. The coaches are awesome, and do a great job of making sure that we compete at our best while keeping proper technique! It is definitely a family atmosphere, as I have developed many friendships who help get me through workouts. The box is clean and the owner continues to add and adjust equipment and services as needed! Big thanks to CFM for changing my life.

I really liked this place from the moment I stepped inside. The owner and the staff go to great lengths to keep you from overdoing it here, and the exercises are modified for everyone ranging from the couch potato to the Olympic athlete, and everyone in between. Every exercise is demonstrated perfectly, and you get all the help you could possibly to start your adventure into an active and fit life style.

I love CrossFit Merced 💗 coaches and members are very welcoming. Workouts are great something new everyday. The best part they accomadate workouts to your athletic ability to still get a good workout in. Deff reccomend to everyone.

I've been a member for about three years and I can confidently say that CrossFit Merced changed my life - I'm healthier and stronger (and even faster, but also, I kinda hate running) than I've ever been and it has been great for my mental health. The coaches are knowledgeable and helpful, and really push you to get better while also making sure that you are maintaining good form.

The space is huge, well-lit, well-equipped, and clean. There is a ton of equipment as well, and space to do auxiliary work by yourself.

Finally, I travel a lot, so I've had the chance to drop in at other boxes across the United States, and I have to say that no where have I had a better experience, in terms of the quality of the box and coaching, the community I've built, and the price for service as great as this. I would recommend CFM to anyone (in fact, I have, and one of my good friends has become a CrossFit Merced convert himself).

Just finished 3 month of PT with Amir and I have to say it's been very impressive. I'm 33 now and I've made more progress in these 3 months than I ever have in 15 years of pottering around in the gym not achieving very much. The programme helped me to stay focused and push harder than I have before. Knowing I had a certain session to follow meant that I stayed that bit longer until everything was done and ultimately that's what pushed me on. Also previously I would avoid excercises I didn't like or find enjoyable which ultimately left me weak in certain muscle groups. I've increased muscle mass virtually all over. In particular have noticed my strength has rocketed in my legs. I can't say it doesn't take some dedication so don't assume paying for a PT instantly entitles you to improvement. Amir was motivational and encouraging throughout. He had to adapt quite a few sessions due to my availability which was also a big plus for me. The weekly feedback, contact, and daily emails you have with him and management means that you are reminded to stay on top of the progress, given tips to keep your progress, and adjust and adapt your sessions to meet your goals. John is the gym owner who also over views all your goals, concerns, and improvements. He will always stay in contact with you to make sure you are happy and want to know they are meeting your expectations. Value for money is exceptional when compared to conventional side by side PT services but you must remember to be disciplined with yourself.
