Great food, we drive all the way from Sacramento to eat here a few times a year. French dip is my favorite. Beautiful view out the window across the highway.

Rutherford Grill this is my favorite restaurant to bring the family. We go there every year for my birthday. There’s always something new on the menu and they’re so consistent as I believe they are a Michelin Star restaurant and whether you’re having a steak or a sandwich soup or just appetizers you’re sure to be always impressed.

I love Rutherford Grill. I Have been coming here for years. My father brought Is the family here when they first opened over 25 years ago. I have been ordering the same dish every time because it is just so amazing. I order the barbecue combo with the rotisserie chicken and the ribs with mashed potatoes. So flavourful so delicious, their desserts, amazing. Their cocktails, superb and their consistency with service and quality is unparalleled. Give this a try you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I hadn’t been here in years! The food, our waitress, and the atmosphere were all perfect! Definitely recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger and Garlic Fries, Chicken Meatballs, Macho Chicken Salad, and the Cornbread Bites! Simply amazing!

First off, I would like to compliment Alex for his exceptional service. He was very friendly and attentive to our requests. Overall the staff was great because we did notice many different servers bringing our food and drinks or menu.

The smoked salmon is delicious! It’s moist and oily and the sauce compliments the salmon really well.

We wanted the grilled artichoke but it’s not in season. Even though they are sold in stores now, they use a special California artichoke. If you haven’t had it, get it in the fall!

We also had the French dip and fish sandwich. The bread for the fish sandwich is so good! Both filled our bellies!

Great selection of seafood entrees & appetizers. Generous portions and great food. Great spot in Napa and really enjoyed their ahi tuna & jumbo shrimp cocktail.

Great spot on a drizzly weekend afternoon (probably great anytime). Cozy interior, not too loud but nicely bustling too, with cheery customers and cordial/pro staff.

We didn’t know what to expect, and were positive surprised. We took the salmon and chicken, swapped the side dish, adding wine and dessert.

Everything was tasty with normal quantities and good quantity ingredients. The place is big so that finding a table during the week was simple.

You can smell the oak wood grill as you drive by, beckoning you in. I've never had a bad dish. Grilled artichokes are a star. My wife always gets the double-cut pork chop, and today the braised red cabbage side had some goat cheese which was brilliant. I tried the local sausages and chicken thigh - also a winner with tender meat and crisp skin on the chicken. The chicken sausage was sweet and savory, and the pork sausage had a nice bit of caraway. Either alone or with some house mustard was great.

Completely taken by surprise here. Great cheeseburger and wine. The ambience is excellent.

What a wonderful place to stop and grab a bite to eat. The food was delicious! The cornbread appetizer was shockingly addicting, light, and fluffy!
Not on the menu, but on occasion they have grilled artichokes; get them! They are absolutely delightful. So many flavors danced on my tongue with just these 2 appetizers. My mouth is watering thinking about them now. The fish we ordered was perfectly cooked; Nice and flakey. It practically melts in your mouth.
The waitress we had was kind and attentive. She was quick to offer a wonderful wine pairing with my meal. Overall, it was a phenomenal dining experience. I cannot wait until I return to Napa so that I can stop and enjoy the Rutherford Grill once again.

I love the food. The atmosphere is stiff. It reminds me of a place I worked where they tried to control everything we could say. And why isn't there pepper on the table? Hot sauce but no black pepper? Isn't this American cuisine?

I want to thank our amazing server, David for being so attentive and keeping up with our group banter! The artichoke appetizer is amazing!! This is my second time having it and the Smokey deliciousness intoxicates you from the first bite!! I miss the jalapeño cornbread, however the cornbread bites are still a win. I always enjoy the deviled eggs, ribs, and salmon appetizer. Please bring back the colcannon potatoes!!

My family and I have been eating here for years (we know the menu and service style well) , but our dinning experience tonight was the best yet! Our server Megan was attentive, enthusiastic and a true asset to this place. She went above and beyond to guide our experience and was always one step ahead of our needs with a vibrant smile. Excellent customer service, hard to come by in this valley lately. Food was good as usual!

Had french dip and BBQ combo for dinner and corn bread bites for app. Everything was amazing. Did not get drinks. Diet coke is not free refills. Would go back again. Highly recommend.

This place has great customer service!!! Everyone is friendly, especially the host! Our waiter Ana was also very friendly with great customer service. The Cajun Trout was DELICIOUS!!! The Oak Grilled Salmon was also good! The lentil cream that tops the Salmon is good.

This restaurant was recommended to me, so I must recommend it to you. This is THE place to make a dinner reservation during your time in Napa Valley. The food was phenomenal - especially the tri-tip special. Kelsi, our waitress, was kind and attentive, and the wait times were minimal. One of the best French martinis I have had outside of New York City.

Great spot in Napa. Prices not too bad given the area. Everyone cleared their plates. Fried artichoke, deviled eggs, and spinach/artichoke dip for apps. Ribs, combo plate, French dip, Trout for dinner. Everything was great. The trout came with fried shrimp and slaw. It had a wonderful sauce and was nicely blackened, but not spicy. I ate everything. Got the Oreo Sunday sandwich for dessert. We will be going back.

Wow! So delicious! This is apparently where the locals go. The outdoor seating area was beautiful. They initially estimated 30 minute wait for our party of five, but then we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. My ahi tuna platter was perfect. The wine is also excellent because it’s still in Napa Valley.
