Panaderia Guadalajara Merced

I would say this is probably the best Mexican food in town. And it's all good. If you like tortas, tacos or burritos this is the place! And they have sweet bread and cakes! Whatever it is that you want they have it and it's good! So stop reading and get yourself something delicious today!
I like the carnitas tortas and the chicken rolled tacos. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The bread is so delicious and soft! The ladies here are so sweet, helpful, and patient. I tried their ham breakfast burrito today which was satisfying, and their champurrado was so yummy. I will definitely be returning more often.

Love this place! Their tacos are really good, specifically the al pastor. They have the best horchata
& pina colada I've ever tried... Freshly made, not out of a machine. Good selection throughout store, with reasonable prices. They have a bakery (conchas, etc), ice cream, hot food, groceries, & other things like snacks & herbal teas. There is also a small eatery area to sit & enjoy a quick meal.

Very nice and nostalgic like a typical small 80s store, use to visit all the time since I'm a kid... bread was all-time the best...

This is my favorite Panaderia I have been to in Merced. The pastries are fresh and affordable. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is also welcoming and friendly. I need to try their hot food. It smells delicious and it is always busy.

A cool thing about this place is that they don't skimp on the food like some places do. The burrito i got my wife was massive, the torta i ordered was really good. 5/5 would recommend and going to come back here to eat.

Honestly one of the best authentic places that really takes me back to my childhood but let’s talk about the food the Chile verde anything it’s amazing the bread i mean the place speaks for itself amazing! I drive from Fresno that should say something. Never disappoints

Have came to this little store about three times for lunch. Ordered a burrito and also one for my wife. Both were excellent. Wait wasn’t too long but long enough to let you know they were serious. They serve ice cream, bake bread and sweets. Folks are friendly and attentive.

Exceptional service and wonderful people. The food is delicious and for a decent price. The employees there get to know you and remember your name. They make you feel like your at home eating what grandma cooked. All in all a great place to eat.
Oh yeah and the Sweet bread, awesome.

Best prices for their great tasting food! The portions of the proteins are the best! Great seasoning. The most fresh sweet bread all around. Not to mention the delicious mangoneadas to beat the heat!

Great customer service! Apart from their delicious pan dulce, I purchased my wedding cake from them. It was really well done for a reasonable price and delicious! The cake baker/decorator did a really good job.

I rarely give a full five stars. I often want to give four and a half or three and three quarters stars but this place deserves five. They are exactly what they say they are, a Panaderia.

Yes, they have other Foods, they have delicious hot foods made right there for you as well, ice cream, other market sundries you might need for your food especially if you cook latin-style periodically.

But today I went there for lots of pan, Mexican sweet breads. The lady was really sweet, we spoke in Spanish, the other girls that have helped me there also really awesome.

I've never actually sat down to eat there. I'm usually in a hurry, but you can't beat great Mexican sweetbreads and the price is amazing! Go there. You won't be disappointed. If you want fancy-schmancy go somewhere else. If you want the real deal go here.

This is the best bakery in Merced, Mexican or otherwise. It's not easy to find, they could probably do with a new sign but they are always busy so I guess they don't need it. The baked goods are awesome. I also like the hot food that I have tried so far. The tamales have a perfect meat:masa ratio and everything always tastes fresh which is always a good thing. There's also a little ice cream shop on one side of the store. From outside you wouldn't even know it was a bakery if not for the smell of fresh baked goodness you can smell from a distance. I am sure that those bigger mercado type stores have their benefits but I know where to go to get quality and taste. The prices are even better too!

Great rice pudding and pastries! They don't always have the rice pudding, and I'd suggest coming earlier to get fresher bread. The concha + pasteles (birthday cake?) are good, and some of the cream-filled ones are good too!

Sonnet's should be sung of this place. The pan, the tres leches cake, the salsas, the food options for even vegetarians, you got mexican candy, the flexibility with however you want it, aguas frescas, on weekends there is menudo, and at a reasonable price. Seriously great place and always busy, the pan is amazing!!!!!! Enjoy!!!

Absolutely the best bakery to be found in Merced! Today was my first day going there and I was not disappointed! This place is hands-down one of the best bakeries I have ever been to and the people are super nice and super helpful! You have gained a loyal customer in me and even though I have to drive all the way from Mariposa to get there I will make my weekly trip because it is worth it!!
