Cabernet House, an Old World Inn

This is an awesome place to stay! We got starry night, which had views of the sky from bed and a six foot claw foot tub that was very clean. The chef made nice breakfasts and everyone was nice. It was a confortable stay and I feel lucky we found it!

This beautiful old Victorian home is in great shape and well-decorated. The owners are so kind and provided a delicious full breakfast. The rooms are quaint and clean. We had a comfortable nights sleep and it’s a nice stroll into downtown Napa. The price was also very fair considering the area.

Amvic the manager was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. I will never forget the feeling of walking into the room and how special it felt. It was so clean, the beds were so comfortable, it was a less than 10 minute walk to downtown and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was soooo delicious. I will be back every time I’m in Napa and recommend this to everyone

Beautiful building and rooms. I loved the large jacuzzi tub in the room, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The one thing I had trouble with was the fan in our room was helpful for the temperature, but was very noisy since it wasn’t balanced properly and kept waking me up throughout the night. The control for the fan was also not working very well. In the morning we had an amazing breakfast served in a gorgeous dining room. It is walking distance to a lot of wine tasting rooms and restaurants. I’d definitely return here.

Great location in a lovely old home. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was outstanding with delicious burrito, fresh fruit, muffin, coffee and fresh squeezed juice. Our bath had a clawfoot tub, which may be difficult for some to get in and out. Would definitely stay again!

Fun and cozy stay, although the plug-in air freshener overwhelmed the room, so we had to unplug it and place it outside the door. The provided breakfast was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again!

Super-charming and historic hotel with delicious breakfast included! The rooms are beautiful and updated. The hotel managed to preserve a vintage aesthetic but with modern amenities. Gorgeous paint colors in room and common areas. Did I mention that breakfast is included and it's amazing? Also great location. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room and amenities were clean and comfy and felt right at home. The location is just a short walk to downtown. The owners were so hospital and made us feel welcome. Every morning we had a fresh cooked breakfast in the social dining room. Could not recommend more, this made our trip to Napa amazing!

Really nice staff, very charming and comfortable. We stayed in the Casablanca room which was nice. The only draw back to that room specifically is that it's right off the dining room, so it can get noisy in the morning. The breakfast was good and light (scrambled eggs with bacon pieces on top, fresh fruit, country potatoes and a banana muffin) we enjoyed it.
We would definitely stay here again.

Seriously charming place -- really enjoyed getting the bed and breakfast experience to start off the day. Great level of service and awesome breakfasts. The location is also great, as it's about a 20 minute (or so) walk to downtown. The rooms are very quaint and nicely appointed. Highly recommend.

We came to Napa for a wedding and needed a place close to downtown. Old World Inn was perfect. Clean, spacious with a great atmosphere. Amvic, the Innkeeper, is fantastic. She got us situated and couldn't have been nicer. Definitely do not skip breakfast - it's awesome! Again, Old World Inn does a great job and I would highly recommend it.

Incredible place with top-notch hostess! The breakfast is included and it is phenomenal. We stayed in the house next door also owned by them (Merlot House) and the room was lovely. Clean and inviting with individual thermostats in each room. Definitely recommend!

We stayed in the Starry Night Room for 3 nights - we are early risers so the sun light above the bed was really nice, but if you are a later sleeper this room may not be your best bet.

The couple who manage the hotel are wonderful. She runs the front of the house and he runs the kitchen. Breakfast was delicious and very filling every day, and anything we needed was well taken care of. We took to calling the woman running the FOH (I didn't get her name unfortunately) our house mom, as if we were heading out for the day she would grab some fruit or granola bars for us to take as a snack and when I was a little chilly in the room she immediately went and found me a second blanket. In addition they were both incredibly friendly and lovely to chat with.

The tub in our room had been broken prior to our arrival, but before we even arrived they had let us know, let us know that they were working on a fix, had spoken to the management to adjust our pricing, and put a bottle of wine in the room for us - needless to say we were not too fussed about the tub after all that!

The contactless system is great, we checked in from the text information sent over and the building and rooms are based on keypads so when we stayed out later for some drinks and dinner in town we were able to arrive at the hotel seamlessly.

Would definitely stay here again when we return - although the in house team are planning to eventually move to the Philippines, which will be a huge blow to the hotel when they leave!

Lovely property and gracious innkeeper. Breakfast is very hearty and delicious!! Very close for walking to downtown - 10 minutes or less. Especially appreciated no pets and no smoking and quiet environment. We were well looked after and will return.

This place is great in so many ways.
- Great location since it's walking distance to downtown Napa.
- GREAT breakfast. This is not the ordinary hotel breakfast you get.
- Manager/owner is so sweet.
- Price is very reasonable, especially for Napa.
- Bed is very comfortable.

You will not regret staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old World Inn Cabernet House. It's nice inside and the dark wood and furnishings make it feel very special. There are a number of rooms here but we stayed in the Casablanca room. It's an interesting room to stay in because it's literally right off the dining room (look at the pictures). They have supplied 2 doors (also pictured) to the room to cut down on the noise and it helps. The room itself was small, but nice. It had it's own bathroom and shower with nice amenities. The closet was large and there was also a television and an electric fireplace. The outside grounds were small but nice and has grape vines, an orange tree and a grapefruit tree. A nice breakfast is served there each morning. What's even better, it's fairly close to downtown Napa. We just left our car there and walked. It's a somewhat long walk, but not bad. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Truly a great experience. We couldn't be happier with this place. All the lovely breakfasts, treats, and tastings. It was such a nice place to stay and the innkeepers are all helpful/friendly/wonderful. Can't wait to go back and spend more time. The room we stayed in (Crush Pad) was so comfortable that we couldn't believe how long we slept. Everything was clean. The little personal touches really made this experience so much better.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights as an early honeymoon and we loved it. Great rooms, very cozy, well kept and very clean. We had breakfast delivered in bed and it really was a great way to start a full day of wine tasting as it was super healthy and delicious. Each evening there was a wine tasting and some snacks to eat in the cellar as we talked about our dinner plans. We are definitely coming back with a few of our friends in the near future.

We came here for our anniversary. The place is beautiful. Since we booked online during a sale we got some added perks to our room upon arrival. When checking in Sienna was great and gave us a quick tour of the building. She also gave us recommendation on good wineries to check out. The room is a perfect size for my husband and I. We love the private outside jaccusi tub. Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed this warm and cozy B&B. Super clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was yummy and wine and cheese in the afternoon very nice.
A big plus is coffee (and tea and got chocolate) 24/7. Good for us early risers!
Good location, we walked to Oxbow Market and downtown easily.
Dolly and Amvic are the best! Owners are so very lucky to have them!
Will be back!
