Bouchon Bistro

Thomas Keller’s Bouchon was definitely worth visiting. We chose a table inside, but they also have a few tables outside.

Traditional bistro menu. We ordered fresh oysters, steamed mussels, pate, French chicken, escaroles and daily special fava bean soup. Everything dish was good.

Great ambience and service as well.

This sister restaurant to The French Laundry did not disappoint. Fabulous experience, wonderful staff, and to die for food!

While each dish we had was beyond delicious, the delightful standout was the truffle potato puree served with the Boudin Blanc!

Sister restaurant of The French Laundry so the food is really good. Expect to pay around $80-100 a person if you include a starter with your main course. Service is also excellent. Would recommend the bone marrow and onion soup to start and the steak & frites and roast leg of lamb for your main courses. Everything was great and the service is also top notch. Would drive down to Napa just to have lunch here again.

Don’t be fooled by the tight spaces in the dining area. The food was excellent so they have lots of customers waiting to be seated. Great French onion soup - very soothing in a cold rainy day. The pate was yummy. Escargots under puff pastries were flavorful. My favorite dish was the salmon tartare. It went so well with the bite size baguette slices that came with it. Cauliflower gratin was a comfort dish and we were too full to finish it so we packed it for later. Tastes just as good second time.

Soooo delicious and true to the classic French cuisine!! Service impeccable, we sat by the bar & the bartender was so on point and attentive. Wine selection excellent. This It’s an art form that should be enjoyed for all time. The Art of French Cuisine. C’est magnifique!

Birthday trip to Napa. Outstanding experience at Bouchon Bistro. Lucked out with a last-minute seating. We had just finished our tasting at MUMM and were ready to eat when we arrived.

It's clear that restaurant staff take pride in serving. Ordered the gnocchi with fresh truffles...and the server came out with a red lacquered humidor to show us the truffles before shaving them onto the gnocchi in front of us, in real time. Excellent showmanship and service.

The seafood tower was impressive -- so fresh and so delicious. We were celebrating our birthdays and this was a wonderful venue with less formal and very a celebratory vibe.

Looking forward to coming again.

Try the black truffle gnudi! The gluten-free crackers were amazing as well.

Never had such a pleasant lunch-the restaurant staff were gracious and attentive, and all of the food was delicious and beautifully plated. Attention to detail at 100%.

Lived up to the hype! We go the croque madam with truffle fries and the boudin Blanc and WOW! Both were great! Highly recommend

Second time coming here with my beloved wife. The food menu would change from time to time. Portions may appear small but I am telling you it will fill you up. Food are savory and for the price with a Michelin badge to back it up its very reasonable . Don’t forget to try the bakery as well. Go order online while your waiting for your food . Once your done in the resto walk next door and grab your pastry to go. You don’t have to fall in line . Menu with photos online guys efficiency in managing our precious time.

Everything was delicious, but the specials of the day were exceptionally good. The risotto with the parmesan mousse and the dumplings with fresh truffles were the highlights of our dinner. My wife liked the cocktail, Pont Neuf. They have a decent selection of wines, too. The service and ambiance were also excellent. All in all, Bouchon Bistro exceeded my expectations.

I had the best little neck clams in my life here. I’m never a fan of raw clams, and would always stick to raw oysters only. This time around actually had a second round of the raw clams. Seafood platter was also amazing, lobsters tasted great!

Stop here if in the area. It’s super cute and everyone is so friendly. Pastries and sandwiches and coffee were perfect. Loads of parking across the street.

An amazing classical french experience, the food was perfect, just really basic dishes executed at the highest level, when you look around you could not figure that it is california! amazing staff, super wine list, and enough wines but the glass!
I honoustly ate better then in a lot of parisian bistro's. stunning!
When we are back in the area we will visit again, i am actually thinking of travelling to california again only for this place! and for californian standards the price - quality is amazing!

Beautiful location and atmosphere. The only downside is how small it is in the indoor dining area and how loud it is but it’s easy to ignore since the food was so delicious and amazing. Service was impeccable! My daughter had the Steak Frites and upgraded to the truffle fries which you must get!
I had the Poulet Roti, which is one of Chef Kellers specialties and all I can say is, superb!
Also ordered the Salade de Cresson et d’Endives au Roquefort which was my favorite honestly. The flavors were so good together and the presentation was so pretty.
The Chef also sent out some delicious side dishes since we were celebrating my birthday as well as some lovely desserts and sparkling candle! They even left a birthday card on the table for us when we arrived. Loved every minute and I can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderful food and service. Can’t wait to come back! All our food was amazing. Salmon Rillettes, Beef Bourguignon, and Crème Brûlée were especially good. Service was warm and friendly. Attentive and accommodating all around.

Of all the great meals we were fortunate to enjoy, Bouchon happened to be my favorite. French American Comfort food cooked to a T! The Escargot were delightful. My wife enjoyed her steak frites. My lamb was perfection on a plate. Quaint yet modern upscale bistro right on Washington Street. A beautiful walk from many of the inns and hotels. Well worth a stop. Casual dress is the theme here. I wore jeans myself with a polo and quarter zip. I did see a few sweat shirts, which I thought was a bit underdone. Their team seems to be very attentive and in control. Well staffed. *May I suggest the SORREL MUSHROOMS WITH PEAS 🍄‍🟫🫛 for a side. They are phenomenal. Bouchon has it going on!

Went for our anniversary and had a fantastic time. Every drink, dish and dessert delivered. Absolutely delicious!

AMAZING food! Their complimentary bread and butter is the best around, and it’s served on the table like an authentic french restaurant. Everything served was a cacophony of flavors, from the green beans, to the gnocchi. Their mashed potatoes in particular are the definition of melt in your mouth, a must order! The service was very amiable and the restaurant ambiance was very cute and cozy. Great area around it with plenty of marketplaces and bakeries! Also close walking distance from Hotel Yountville.

Loved coming here, I actually like the food better at this location versus another. Tables are a tight squeeze here. Food and service were excellent.

Divine. From the service to the atmosphere to the cuisine - everything was immaculate. The food was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, our mouths were in awe. To start, all tables receive fresh bread from the bakery, local pistachios, and olives - such great local treats! We had Deviled Eggs (AMAZING), French Onion Soup (BEST I'VE EVER HAD), Salade Maraîchère au Chèvre Chaud (DELICIOUS), Moules au Safran (ABSOLUTELY PERFECT), Black Truffle Special (INCREDIBLE - and the truffles were presented in a temperature controlled red box!), and martinis! I cannot say enough positive things about this experience!
