Friends' Community Bookstore

This is an incredible community bookstore. The condition of most of the books I purchased were like new. I couldn’t tell that they were in fact used books. Their conditions are mint. The ladies working here are very knowledgeable and they suggested some wonderful books. The selection they have is also very good. They also sell music CD’s and movies on DVD. All prices are very reasonable. Definitely a worthwhile bookstore worth supporting.

I recommend coming here. loved it so much and I got so many good books for a very good price. Im a big twilight fan and I got the whole series. i’m so excited to read them. The people there are very helpful and nice😊. I would come again.

I fell in love with used book stores years ago living in Seattle, and everytime I've moved since I try to find a good one. I was thrilled when this one opened in Marina. They have a wonderful selection, well organized, very friendly and helpful staff, a great kids' play area, and kids' book selection. And you can't beat the cheap prices and that it goes back to supporting the library! We love this bookstore!

The highest quality used book selection at the cheapest price. All of their fiction was on sale for $2. The volunteers were knowledgeable and helpful. The place feels like a community organizing around a love of books, with none of the dusty silence of an average bookstore.

I used to come to this place before COVID-19! Now that they are closed I have taken advantage of their pick up order system. I email one of their personal shoppers to find a book that I want to purchase, they then work their magic to find what I need! I then pick up my order a few days after. Wonderful people and community business! Support your local businesses!

This local treasure is an amazing find! Not only are the books in great condition and low in price (I got a pristine hardback world atlas - over 500 pages - for less than $10!!!!), it is giving back to the community library by donating funds to help with book buys and local programs. It's a win-win!

Today I visited this shop for the first time and I'm happy I did! I was welcomed and shown around the shop by a staff member which was very kind. The shop is very organized but also has some extra rooms with books yet to be sorted that you're allowed to look through which I loved. I will definitely be back many, many times!

Great assortment of all different books. Prices are right and the people are nice. Communities need places like this to thrive.

Six people in the store at one time. Masks and social distance. Book donations accepted during store hours (up to 4 boxes) Please do not leave books in front of store after hours.

The staff are all dedicated to literacy and serving the public to that end by searching the bookshop with the customers for any book sought after, and also provide an inviting space for exploring on one's own.

Well organized medium sized used bookstore with interesting selection, great prices and helpful staff.

They tend to have many titles by each author they carry. The volunteer staff is friendly and helpful. If they know what you are looking for they will tell you about similar books in the back rooms.

Walked off with $40 of books (more than 20 ) and found tons of books for my curriculum. Plus vintage finds by my favorite author...Homeschooler paradise.

If you want to find a great deal on a book, come here. A lot of books. Amazing prices. Spend the time to look around and you'll find something. The people there can help direct you to where books are.

Definitely recommend this place to purchase pre-loved books at a great price. Plus all proceeds benefits the library.
