The French Laundry absolutely lived up to expectations. In fact it surpassed expectations by far. The food was truly fabulous, customer service was exemplary and it was truly a one of a kind evening. We had an early dinner reservation, didn’t leave till very late and the FL team were stellar in every way. We had a tour of the kitchen, met the chefs and had the most brilliant evening. They even teased out of us (how I don’t know!) that it was someone’s birthday and made a delightful fuss over said person. We left with fond memories, a recipe book signed, in the moment, by a range of chefs (on the page their dishes were listed) and in awe of the professionalism of everyone involved. Thank you so much FL team!

Lucky enough to score reservations - what a wonderful experience! We’ve travelled to Yountville before and were in awe of The French Laundry’s garden and mysterious, quaint restaurant wondering what it’d be like to dine there. The history of this restaurant is enough to make the visit in my opinion.

The food is very traditional and meticulously plated. You’re able to pair wine with your courses that fit your budget, lower end being ~$350 up to $1k+. My personal favorite was the oyster and pearls and ‘everything bagel’ cone. So tiny but packed with so much flavor.

Our server was phenomenal. Although there were multiple we had one primary and he was warm, humorous and made my dreams come true - arranging for us to meet Chef Keller himself! I think I blacked out afterwards from awe and excitement but do remember their desserts were phenomenal.

Don’t eat a few hours before, and plan to stay at minimum 2.5 -3 hours. If you’re looking for a great place to stay within walking distance, The North Block Hotel is great!

Treat yourself to sheer luxury. Service. Food. Ambiance. Every course, bite, drink and touch will supersede your expectations. Truly worth every penny - it is the best of the best for a reason. We enjoyed the private dining room and it was a swoon worthy evening. Impeccable.

Patrick made the evening a level of exceptional we didn’t know existed. We don’t drink alcohol, and he made sure we had an incredible drink pairing with our sensational meal. The thoughtfulness and care that Patrick put into our experience was something we will never stop taking about in addition to the incredible food. One for the record books for sure.

So hard to get reservations here. I was able to get a reservation by checking everyday for any cancellations. Got a table for four and invited some good friends to experience the tasting with us. I had sky high expectations that there is no way to meet. First I like to say that I’m not a fan of cheese or dishes that are super rich. I get easily nauseated from eating rich foods without anything to balance it out. The service is second to none. Also they make sure you walk out stuffed. So much food! You feel like you are at a special place and you are. First thing they serve you is this mini cheese ice cream cone. Not my thing, I shouldn’t have ate it. Too salty, nasty. Next was caviar with oysters. I’m not a fan of caviar or oysters. Gave it a try anyway. Next was a salad with sugar coated peach. Very good. Next was a fish dish, barely cooked. I’m not a fan of uncooked fish, but this was ok. Next was scallops, so good! Followed by amazing bread and butter. Mac and cheese with truffles, amazing. So rich! By this time I was stuffed. Next the prime rib and lamb was Ok. Japanese Wagyu, too rich for me. The dessert was over the top. Too many things and to top it off they give you choice of chocolate truffles. Also a goody bag to go. On the way out they ask if you want to tour the kitchen, of course! Recommend everyone try. Make sure you go on an empty stomach.

Exceeded expectations. Jose and the team’s knowledge, expertise, and level of service was exceptional. Every bite was delicious and I would go back again. The meal got a bit rich for my wife’s liking.

I don’t think I am a good enough wordsmith to do this restaurant justice. Everything was amazing and over the top. They plan your visit and want to make it personal for you. Chef David was incredible and even spent time with us. The food was so impressive and I see why this is a 3 star Michelin. The wait staff worked as a team so well and were very attentive to any needs or requests. It’s expensive, but you won’t be sorry you spent the money.

The French Laundry proved to be the epitome of fine dining, with each course outshining the last in an elegant ballet of flavors and presentation. The setting was a tranquil backdrop to the culinary masterpieces that graced our table.

Attentive service was the golden thread throughout the evening, with each staff member displaying a deep understanding of the menu and wine pairings. The wines, each a chosen companion to Keller’s creations, were poured with a sommelier’s precision and a storyteller’s passion.

The “OYSTERS AND PEARLS” was a revelation— a dish that will linger in my memory as the epitome of gastronomic perfection. The sabayon of pearl tapioca provided a delicate cushion for the Island Creek Oysters, while the Regiis Ova Caviar offered a burst of the sea, each spoonful surpassing the last in taste and texture.

Equally amazing was the “CARNAROLI RISOTTO BIOLOGICO.” The dish was a showcase for the Alba white truffles, which were generously shaved on top at the table, releasing their intoxicating aroma. The earthy truffles paired with the creamy risotto created an ensemble of flavors so rich and satisfying, it was as if the dish provided a direct connection to the Italian truffle fields.

The selected wines, particularly the crisp MODICUM Blanc de Blancs, elevated the “OYSTERS AND PEARLS,” while the robust PHILIPPE LIVERA Gevrey-Chambertin provided a beautiful contrast to the rich risotto.

As the evening came to a gentle close with a series of sumptuous desserts, each paired with the sweet serenade of KRACHER Beerenauslese Cuvée, it was clear that The French Laundry didn’t just serve food, it curated an experience that was as unforgettable as it was unmatched.

In reflection, the evening at The French Laundry was a symphonic celebration of culinary excellence, an experience that will be etched in my palate and heart forever.

Truly a unique dining experience, we went with my sister and her husband to celebrate their anniversary, and the menus were customized with their names, such a nice touch.

With 13 courses throughout 3hrs, I can say that this was a special dinner and served with so much care and thought. Each dish was delicious and we were so full by the end of it.

We ended with a tour of the kitchen and some French Laundry shortcake biscuits/menus to take home.

Would probably be the only time we could ever go, but it was so worth the experience.

If I could give this more than five stars, I would. A once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget. Blown away by every part of this meal but particularly the customer service, which is above and beyond. Thank you for creating such a special memory for my family!

My wife and I had an exceptional anniversary dinner at The French Laundry. The service was impeccable and the food surpassed all of our expectations. Each dish was expertly prepared and the wine pairings were magnificent. The kitchen tour at the end of the meal was a highlight of the evening, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the magic happening in the kitchen. Overall, we highly recommend The French Laundry to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. It's no wonder this 3 Michelin Star restaurant is considered one of the best in the world. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine here!

Finally was able to secure a reservation here and it definitely lived up to the hype. There were numerous menu items that I had never had before but they were all amazing. Each bite was an experience in itself as the flavors and textures were perfectly balanced. The presentation was beautiful and the servers explained each dish while answering any questions we had. The wine list is the most extensive I’ve seen but I was a bit surprised that our bottle was not presented to us and opened at the table - not a big deal for us but I can see some people being disappointed by that. Dessert was made up of a handful of different dishes and a box of various chocolates were presented to us afterwards. We received our menus and two tins of sugar cookies to take home and were able to tour the kitchen on our way out. You’ll need to plan ahead and be well-prepared to make a reservation as they become available for the following month on the first of the current month. Ex. September reservations become available on August 1st on Tock. You can join a waitlist if you miss out but the odds of getting a reservation that way are slim to none. Highly recommended if you can get a reservation and well worth the price tag as you get what you pay for and then some.

Was fortunate enough to have a group of business friends that were able to secure the Bay Laurel Table for our trip. The food was phenomenal, with every bite making you yearn for more. Such bold, impactful flavours in such a small spoon. Simply amazing. It's definitely a once in a lifetime experience everyone should try, and I'll definitely try to secure a slot for a future special event. 😊

Veronica was amazing and supper attentive, knowing how to entertain the guests.

The oyster caviar dish, steamed egg and beef ribeye cap were simply mouthwatering.

I could write a thousand words about our experience...
From the second we arrived to the moment we left, it was perfect.
Thank you, Chef Keller & Team, for inspiring our budding chef, you all went out of your way to make our evening so special and one he will never forget.
A class act.

Bucket list checked.

The food was exceptional especially the Oysters and Pearls. I could have eaten a gallon of that stuff.

The service was great although slow compared to Vegas standards. I get it, they make all of their food from scratch without prepping so it takes 20-40 minutes between dishes, so 12 dishes stretches out the evening pretty far out. Dinner took about 3 1/2 hours.

We were given a tour of the kitchen and wine cellar after dinner which was awe inspiring and one can only dream of having such a nice place to cook.

Will definitely make it out there again in the future.

There was so much delicious food I was concerned I was going to need to be rolled out of the restaurant after finishing our meal. Would we ever spend this type of money a second time to visit the same restaurant? Probably not. But this is definitely worth the 1 time splurge. We visited while we were in Napa on my birthday trip and The French Laundry definitely made my day feel special. From the signed menu that I was able to take home with me to the sparkler candle cake presentation, everything was amazing. The service was what you would expect, impeccable, and the food was like nothing we had seen at many other restaurants. Be mindful if you do bring your own wine though - they do have a hefty corkage fee! We knew this a head of time and still chose to bring a bottle from one of the wineries we had visited earlier in the day. We also purchased a bottle from the restaurant which we felt was, all considered, reasonably priced. It may seem like a huge price tag, but the experience here is definitely worth the splurge if you can manage to get a reservation during your trip!

Greeted with a warm welcome & smiles. Extremely friendly staff, great food, top shelf spirit options & a wine-champagne list a mile long. Each dish coming out was exciting to see what flavors awaited as well as the overall presentation. This was my 2nd visit & I will be back soon. Congrats on maintaining the Michelin 3 stars! And thank you for letting us come dressed comfortably. (you have no idea how important that is to me.)

I have to say, The French Laundry did not disappoint. Everything tasted great and then some. Each course provided either satisfaction or pleasant surprises. You do walk out of here full, getting your money’s worth that’s for sure. The old school dining experience does provide courses that is on the saltier side, but I really like that. Many high end restaurants having lightly seasoned food and all sour taste courses of sort, just so they can hide the fact that their imaginations are limited when it comes to taste. You won’t find that here, eat course is unique enough that you get a different feeling. Although our tasting menu was heavier on the goat cheese taste, but overall that was still a fantastic experience.

Worth a special journey….
“Life changing”..is what a friend said who joined us that evening in the private room
Ultra hard to get into, not inexpensive, a bit small of a venue (maybe)….
However the overall experience makes you take stock of life’s accomplishments and makes one appreciate the value of sharing special moments at places like French Laundry with family and close friends

Unforgettable experience which after all is why a person celebrates at a place like this
