What'd You Break? Tv Computer Phone Repair

From my experiences using different local or chain fix-it shops, What'd You Break has been my go-to since the first time I used them. Not downplaying anybody else but these guys have been really fair on their pricing and very thorough with their services.

What can I say, Josh is amazing! Always ready to help and fix all the tech we break :) The prices are very reasonable.

This is the ONLY repair store I will be coming to as long as they are in business! Brought in a DSLR Camera, even though it wasn't on their normal repair list. I expected about $150 in repair costs, and 5 day fix time.... these legends called me back an hour later to pick it up at a FRACTION of the cost of every other shop in the area. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!!

I was a walk in after dropping my phone and I had another replacement I wanted to transfer all the data from old phone to a new one but since the phone was broken I wasn't able to use the screen at all, I did first go to my cellphone carrier & they said there was nothing they could do to help. I was heartbroken because majority of my pictures weren't backed up 😭💔 as soon as I walked in to What'd You Break I was greeted right away and as I was explaining my situation a solution was already being figured out even before I finished my sentence (extremely knowledgeable). My phone was then connected and I was able to access through their comp. I was then able to transfer all the data to the new replacement phone & got all my pictures!!!!!!
Such an excellent customer service and with extremely fair pricing. I will only use their shop for all electronic repairs going forward. We have a gem in Marina and it is called "What'd you Break". Thank you for all the great work you do!!!!! Cannot recommend them enough!

Went in to get my battery replaced he had it done in an hour and it didn't cost an arm and leg.

Excellent service. I explained my PC issues and was given instructions on how to solve them. Problem was fixed, free of charge, didn't need to leave my PC at the shop. Very genuine, humble, and generous. Recommend to anyone looking for answers to their tech issues.

Josh is top notch service with a quick solution to your broken devices!! Took my sons old iPad mini here to get a broken screen fixed and Josh had the part there the next day, unfortunately the screen they sent him was faulty but Josh quickly fixed the issue with another screen and fixing the iPad!! I didn’t really want to take the small amount of cash Josh offered due to the faulty screen, I was just happy he got the thing fixed but he insisted!! AMAZING SERVICE!!! I will for sure be a life long customer and refer all my friends and family to him!!! THANKS JOSH, my son is so happy he gets his iPad back :)

Incredibly professionally run repair shop. I brought in a broken Nintendo Switch on a Monday just before close, and after a free quote, they were able to fix it and have it back to me by Wednesday morning. Fair pricing, and excellent customer service. I will only use their shop for all electronic repairs going forward.

I have 3 kids and they tend to break my electronics. Josh has kept it real and cares more about customers services then the money. He will tell you if you should just replace something instead of fixing it. Definitely recommend seeing him for issues.

Working on my guitar, broke off a pickup wire accidentally. I can do some basic soldering but this was a sensitive/finesse job. I showed up and pickup was fixed in less than 10 minutes- no charge!!!

Replaced my battery on iPhoneX within the hour. The screen cracked while opening the phone and the owner happily replaced it without any questions. Incredible customer service. I will be back and will recommend to others, too! Thank you!

Josh and Paul were absolutely great with my laptop and my phone. I went to Bestbuy at the Geeks quad where I had a Totaltech membership for five years at 199 per year and never used it
I was told to buy a new phone and that my laptop that was going to cost $180 and out for FIVE weeks. I left the Best buy manager an email but, you guessed it, he will never call me...

I’ve used their services twice in the past 2 months thanks to my teenage kids. The first time it was a cracked iPad screen that was fixed the same day I took it in. And today I took an iPhone that mysteriously stopped working and it’s less than 2 years old and again they fixed it within hours of taking it in. Their prices are very reasonable.

Unfortunately, I've had to come here a couple times for my phone screen. I hope you never need to come here, but, if you do, you're in excellent hands. The crew here is very friendly and knowledgeable, and seem very honest. I hope I never see them again, but, I won't be too disappointed if I do! Wonderful business! :)

No word is strong enough to praise Josh and the work they do. I have been going to him with computer issues, printer issues, and phone issues. He has done an amazing job every time. This guy was great, the opposite of what I have, sadly, come to expect in the way of customer service in today’s business environment. No “Covid”/“supply chain” excuses. The guy picked up the phone when I called and talked to me. Imagine that! I described the problem I was having with my phone. He listened, told me two things that could be the problem and gave me instant cost estimates for both scenarios. When I got there and he looked at my phone, he told me within two minutes that the problem was most likely not with my phone but with my life proof case - the microphone slot was blocked with grime. He removed the case, tested the microphone, and found it to be working just fine. Problem solved; no charge. He could have easily taken my phone for an hour, done nothing but remove the case, and had me come back, thinking he’d done an internal repair. But he was too full of integrity for that. I totally appreciate that kind of service and that kind of honesty. I would recommend this business to anyone on the Monterey Peninsula.

Josh fixed both my ipad air (replaced bad charging port) AND my iphone 6s (replaced speaker/mic due to water damage). Now both work like new and saved me hundreds of dollars from not having to buy replacements. They give warranty on work and their prices are beyond fair. First time I’ve ever written a review but this business is that good. A credit to our community. Certainly a ‘Best of Marina’ business.

I took my sons iPad in because the charging port was loose and we could no longer find a cord that would work and give it a charge. Josh was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the issue in just a few days. When I got home, I realized the volume and shut-off buttons didn’t work. I called Josh and he apologized for not reconnecting these when he put the device back together. He sent someone to my house to pick up the iPad and had it fixed and returned in less than 2 hours. The value was amazing because we honestly thought the iPad might be done and need to be replaced. Josh and his other employee were so nice and professional.
I highly recommend this business for your electronic needs and will be returning if we have any other devices that need attention.

Fantastic service, affordable, very fast. I recommend going there 1st before going to manufacturers. Easily 5 star. Came in for a phone repair, done same day. Bringing all my electronics regardless of age that i want fixed. :)
