Miner Moe's Pizza

Great local pizza restaurant in Nevada City! Visited jan. 15th..see receipt. Huge medium combinatiion with a ton of toppings! The one trip salad bar is very small in size but it had everything i like in a salad. Its family run for 30 years and they still make one of the best pizzas in town! Ton of leftovers! 5 stars on the pizza and salad! Dine in or take out. Beer and wine also available

First time here, and fantastic! Small restaurant, but we were lucky and they had room for us. The pizza was great, especially loved the Love That Garlic pizza. The restaurant is decorated very well, and I love that it's very obviously a family operation, there's photos all over showing the family growing up there. Makes it really feel homey and welcoming. The staff was quick and friendly, and the prices are comparable to other pizzerias, we got 2 large pizzas and 6 drinks, and it came to about $75. I do suggest ordering by phone before coming down, as they do get busy, according to family who lives in the area. This definitely won't be my last visit here!

Miner Moe’s is always consistent and delicious! We love the Ranch Lover’s pizza and my kids are set on Pepperoni. We’ve loved all the pizzas we’ve tried, honestly. The salad bar is small, but has everything you need for a great salad. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The owner is always very nice! Overall, a great place to pickup or dine in. They also deliver!

A small, locally-owned pizza place you will feel good about supporting as often as you feel like eating pizza. There is a great selection of pizza other items, including delicious gluten-free options and a tiny salad bar. The pizza crust was a medium-thin type and tasted great. It is off the beaten path, but worth the journey.

This was an unexpected stop, and found this place by accident, we were starving, and trying to find a different restuarant, and decided to just stop and eat here. We were not disappointed!!! The food was excellent!!!! The pizza, and sandwich we ordered were outstanding, made fresh, but it took maybe 15 minutes, even though there were 2 customers ahead of us, it was very fast service, next time you are in the area, this is a definite must stop and eat place!!!

This place has been a local favorite for generations. The owner is an awesome person and everyone I know loves working there. Needless to say, the pizzas are unique and delicious. Hot, fresh, and made fast every time.

Wow! Traveling through Nevada City and had to have pizza! Glad we chose this restaurant! Amazing pizza, flavorful, great hospitality. A little pricey, but definitely worth it!

Visiting the area and stumbled upon Miner Moe’s. Got the Ranch Lover’s and Love That Garlic pizza and they were EXCELLENT! We ordered it for take out and it was ready on time. Great service and they really take care of military on Veteran’s Day! Thanks Miner Moe’s!

We are avid Cioppino makers, making it at least 10 times a year. While visiting our favorite family pizzeria, Miner Moes, we found out they make their own sauce! To say we were stoked is an understatement! We decided to create a lazy man’s Cioppino the very next day (no shells). We only added fresh lemon and parsley to taste, and I have to say it was fantastic! It felt like we were in the San Francisco Bay at a restaurant!

Miner Moe’s has ALWAYS been one of my favorite pizza places but NOW THEY MAKE SAUCES?! Of course I had to try!!! The creamy tomato vodka pasta sauce is AMAZING!! I could eat it out of the jar 😋 the Tuscan lemon herb marinade is even better! Cannot forget the smoky bacon ketchup!!! Three of my favorite things, YUM!! Moe never disappoints!

Eight old lady friends drove up to Grass Valley to go fabric shopping and just have an outing. I picked Miner Moe's after reading about it--perfect for us! It is a small place but they accommodated all 8 of us at one table. Everyone was able to get their own order and pay when ordering. Saves hassle of splitting bill. We all got the personal pizza, salad bar, drink combo. Good deal. Other options. Clean facility, excellent bathrooms, super friendly, helpful staff. We all had fun and my friends loved my restaurant choice. Thanks, Moe!

We frequently buy pizza to take home and have never been disappointed. It is always hot and ready to go. They offer other lunch and dinner items and a very nice salad bar. They have a self-serve soda and drink machine plus offer a variety of beers.
They have a very nice dining area both inside and out. Because the temperature in our area often cools down at night, make sure you bring a sweater or light coat to wear in the Summer months. Their restrooms are kept very clean as well.

I'm here once a month for a great many years.
Staff is always the friendliest imaginable.
Food has never once let me down. Satisfying happy experience every time always.
Salad bar is small, but SO good as everything is fresh and they have toppings other salad bars don't have, like slivered almonds!
They do NOT charge extra for thier awesome homemade ranch. The pizza is bomb. Thier weekday lunch specials fully rock. Again, best, friendliest, staff imaginable. Love this sweet local spot so much!

This is such a cute pizza shop. I appreciate their pricing, combos and ambiance. I stopped in randomly and really enjoyed my lunch!

I have to leave 5 stars because I have no complaints! Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and comfortable dining room. Definitely a great place to stop on the way to/from Nevada City.
