Our family have been going to this office for a few years now and I have to say that they are all from the Doctors and Staff are all wonderful. Our first visit was an emergency and from day one we were sure to always return. That’s how much we trust them. They’re knowledgeable and help you understand each course of treatment for our furbabies. They’re helpful in getting us a faster appointment during emergencies. They are compassionate and you can feel that they are animal lovers. After losing our Sparky they’ve been very attentive and thoughtful with remembering her. We are so touched. Our furbabies are very fortunate to have found a good doctor.

I could not be more grateful to have found this place for my bunny Zelda!! I have been to other bunny vets and I was not comfortable with taking my bun back there. This place is exactly what I was looking for this whole last year. Everyone who works here is amazing and they all know all about rabbits and all animals too. They sell critical care, hay, all natural bunny treats etc. My bun is not easy to deal with.. she is a sweetheart and friendly but she HATES being held or grabbed & they handled her so good. She wasn’t mad at me when we got home. Maria was so helpful with all my questions and handling Zelda, I appreciate you so much! And Dr. Ichikawa was amazing as well. Glad I did my research, if you’re looking for a good bunny vet or vet in general I highly recommended this place.

We have been going to Dr. Robert’s for 2 years now with our bunnies. She’s knowledgeable and the staff is friendly. Easy to schedule appointment.

I decided to try Northwood Animal Hospital because Bunny Bunch has them on their lists of savvy vets that they recommend. Their first check up went great, everyone was friendly and kind.

I have been to other exotic vets in the area but Northwood has been the best place so far. They asked me the right questions: is the bunny eating? Do they have diarrhea? What do they eat? They asked for a fecal sample. They also checked their glands, their eyes and nose for discharge, their teeth, their weight. They seem more bunny savvy than other places. I'm glad Bunny World Foundation recommended this place. I only take my bunnies here. I really wish I knew about this place earlier. I had a bunny who was very sick. I took her to 2 different vets and they didn't know what was wrong with her, however they charged a lot for the consultation and tests. In the end my bunny crossed the rainbow and I spent lots of money without even knowing what was wrong with her. So far Northwood has been really good, and they're good at preventative care. I also see many rabbits come here too (it's a good sign!).

The staff is amazing. This is the only vet you should trust your pet too!!! They go out of their way to make every appointment amazing! I highly recommend Northwood animal hospital! Thank you guys so much see you again soon!

Great staff... gentle and kind people. My vet assistant was super nice, handled my old bunny with TLC. My bunny was so calm and at ease. The veterinarian was the same, just calm and gentle and explained why my bunny might be having an eye issue with clarity. I had very little waiting time and everything felt very concierge and professional, yet price of visit and meds were reasonable.

Dr. Roberts is very knowledgeable on treating bunnies and her staff members are awesome. Their examination, surgery and treatment charges on bunnies are reasonable, not like some other animal hospitals in the Irvine area who will charge you double just to make money off of you.

My bébé bunny Jameson and I looove the staff at Northwood Animal Hospital! Though it’s located in a teeny tiny plaza, I love coming here because the customer service is amazing!

Setting up an appointment is as easy as making a phone call. They’ll ask if you’re a new or returning member and then discuss reasons for your visit. For your first visit, they charge you 50% of the standard price which is great. Due to Covid restrictions, only one person may accompany the pet into the room so family must wait in the lobby or in the car.

Dr. Roberts is a very well-known vet who specializes in rabbits and she is super sweet! She always calls Jameson “the perfect size” and makes sure to give great pets and snuggles before finishing up the check-up.

There is a new requirement to have the RHDV2 vaccine even for grooming services but since it’s safer for your bunny, I opted for this anyway.

The vaccine is $45, the nail trim is $20-25, and the visit is $80-90 (can’t remember).

Overall, this is our primary choice in Orange County and I can’t speak highly enough about how great the team is!

So, to start off, this place is amazing because if you adopt a new pet and bring in the paperwork showing your recent adoption, they will give your pet a FREE check-up!!! That's amazing!! I adopted 2 bunnies from a kill shelter 1 month after my little soulmate passed away.

A regular check-up for a rabbit is $79 here -- that's also amazing. I drove from LA, where the vets rob you there and charge approx $129-$149 for just a check-up. I have a total of 3 bunnies living their best life, I'll take any savings I can get.

I just wish they were closer. They are 75 mins away from me! But it's worth the drive to Irvine if you're on a tight budget and want vets who specialize in rabbits and allow you to be in the room with your pet, which is important to me.

Northwood is the only vet I will use for my furry babies! They’re staff are extremely nice respond in a timely manner. The Drs are amazing! I feel all my babies are safe and well taken care of here. Thank you for all your loving and hard work.

I've been going to this Vet for about 30 yrs. The staff is amazing and the doctor's are very knowledgeable and friendly.

We have always been impressed with the level of care offered by Northwood for our 2 bunnies. We rely on them for regular checkups and medical procedures. Staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. Would absolutely advise anyone in the area with bunnys to look at Northwood Animal Hospital for their primary care.

Even though I live more than 30miles away, my pet received the best care possible! I really appreciate Dr. Mario for his attentive care and took time to talk to me about how to care for my new pet rabbit. He has great bedside manner and all staff were so pleasant and helpful.

The team at Northwood are the best of the best! Not only are they all supremely well-trained professionals but they all truly care about every pet that comes thru their doors. Dr. Roberts and her team have cared for my dogs for over 20 years and will continue to do so forever!!

Since I'm the boss, I try to treat every patient as if it's my own "baby". In this case it was. My little Wonder did fantastic for his neuter and he's not even mad at me!

They were able to book an appointment the day I called. Dr. Roberts was super gentle with my bun and the vet tech was able to keep him calm for his first vet visit. Luckily he is ok and they were able to prescribe him some antibiotics to help him get better. We also were able to buy an 8 pound bag of hay for the same price as a smaller bag at the store. Overall super happy with the service that was received. Charlie was very happy 😊.

Ive gone to them since i got my dwarf lop. They are always happy to answer any questions i have. They also dont add any unnecessary things to the bill. Prices are cheaper then other places. They offer the vaccine for rabbits. I wish they were closer as i do drive down to irvine from downey. Still i only trust them with my rabbit Chester.
