Super awesome spot with a great vibe. Spoke to Josh and talk about great customer service. They only offer 12 ounce cup sizes here, but I brought my own mug and they filled it to the top. Pastries looked delicious. Great addition to Dana Point.

Great lattes when dining in and helpful staff. It is a small cafe inside if you're planning to dine in but there are outside tables as well. The lattes are served with nice dishware and be aware to please place your dishes in their designated bins near the counter.

This is a staple every time we visit California. We have been going there for 10 years since they were a popup coffee stand. My wife loves their coffee so much, we waited for an hour for them to open so she could get a coffee before we flew back home.

At Bear Coast you can have it all! Great beverages, incredibly delicious food, and the nicest people. The pastries are incredible and I have dreams about the breakfast egg in a cup. Sort of bare bones atmosphere is ok because it feels like you are hanging out with family. Oh and really cute merch too!

Whenever I am in San Clemente I like to visit Bear Coast because they make their almond milk in house.🙂

Such nice people behind the counter a definite local favorite. I LOVE matcha lattes and theirs is pretty good.
However, in all the years I’ve visited it seems the matcha is constantly watery.
Making a matcha latte means mixing powder into a paste with a minimal amount of hot water.
Then add the honey to the paste (if that’s your choice). Mix again. Then
add paste to cup, ice then milk of choice.

I understand the logic of softening honey with hot water but that just adds more water in addition to ice.

Melting honey in the paste makes a great smooth finish!

Otherwise love their cute shop and you can’t beat the location!

Love bear coast! Amazing coffee and just the right number of great food options. The secret has been out for a long time and sometimes there’s a line but they always move things through quickly! You’ll be glad you went.

Such a cute place! They still have the avocado toast even though it doesn’t seem to appear in the online order menu. Matcha latte was delicious!

Great new location in Dana Point! Nice space with good outdoor seating... Always love their cold brew and their seasonal lattes... I had their tumeric latter with oat milk and an add shot and it was delicious... They also have rotating flavors of kombucha which my mom appreciated on Mother's Day... Always great service as well...

The breakfast burrito was hands down, best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. The two sauces paired with it were so different but equally delicious. Beautiful art mural inside on the walls. Ample seating outside with a farmers market across the street. Chai latte was pretty sweet and the americano was a little burnt. I added the americano to my chai latte to balance the sweetness and it was delicious.

One of my absolute favorite haunts. They have delicious food, amazing coffee, and the sweetest staff. My avocado toast was almost too beautiful to eat...almost. :)

Best coffee in Orange County. Staff is friendly and they make an awesome Pumpkin Spice Latte in the Fall/Winter season (the syrup is made from scratch). Almond milk is also made in house and it tastes great. It actually steams quite nicely. Caramel lavender latte is also tasty. They have breakfast burritos on the weekends; they sell out regularly so get them early! I usually go to the Farmer’s Market afterwards on Saturday mornings.

Great coffee, food menu looked good but didn't try anything. The vanilla nutmeg latte with oat milk was delicious. Only one size is offered for most drinks, 12 oz for hot, 16 oz for cold. Great outdoor seating area with tables and chairs, and a kids table as well. There's also a few tables inside. Great atmosphere and the baristas were very friendly.

Just discovered Bear Coast a couple of weeks ago and love it! Service and atmosphere are great! Definitely expensive but much better quality than its closest coffee shop neighbor.

Great little place! I am so thrilled that Bear Coast Coffee has come to Dana Point. This plaza has just gotten so much better!

Was looking for a new coffee place and came across Bear Coast Coffee. Once i saw the Lavender Caramel Latte I had to try it! I love Lavender lattes but not every place makes them right. This one was amazing! I got mine iced and the coffee, Lavender and Caramel are balanced just right! Definitely in my top 2 of all Lavender lattes I've tried. Also great costumer service they were friendly, informative and provided speedy service. Thanks again for the great drink ladies!

Fantastic coffee - hands down the best we had on our month long travels in the US from Australia. Super laid back atmosphere and friendly staff - very happy it was walking distance from our rental.
