Five stars in all aspects. Great breakfast, coffee is on the weaker side for my personal preference. Excellent service every time. My local breakfast spot over the years. Highly recommend!!

Guys, if you are ever in the Dana Point area, Rj's Cafe is a must breakfast spot to enjoy a wonderful morning. I had the taco omelet, and wow, it was fantastic. Just look at my pictures it tells a thousand words..P.S. you need to have their delicious cinnamon roll that is a must. That breakfast was happiness to my food soul.. like always my people, happy good eats, and God bless you all.

The CINNAMON roll French toast will blow your mind!! The Starling outdoor/indoor restaurant is located close to the water but you don’t see the water. You get the fresh breeze off the ocean as you eat brunch and it is so magical. The service is outstanding and the food is even better! We got the cinnamon roll French toast in the combo which I highly recommend, the feta and avocado scramble, The chicken fried steak, and a classic omelette with bacon and ham and cheese but we turned it into a scramble and added avocado. We also got the Apple stuffed French toast and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! It tasted even better! Everything was so off the charts! We were filled to the brim with such amazing food and we will definitely be returning!

Enjoyed a low key breakfast here w some friends. We each got omelettes and split the cinnamon roll… holy cow that thing was so ooey gooey! The service was great, portions were large and there were pups everywhere. It definitely is casual and family friendly.

Our Waitress Teresa was a joy to have. She was very attentive and saw her holding a few conversations with other guest. She had great suggestion on menu items all were great glad we took her advice but then again from reading reviews we probably couldn't go wrong ordering anything ....Great Food, Great Service and great place to definitely keep in our go back to in the future!!

Amazing food, great service, wonderful coffee. The perfect breakfast spot. Try the Italian omelette with spinach! And you have to get a cinnamon roll.

Great local breakfast joint. Both food and service are consistently very good. Eggs Benedict was very delicious. Their homemade Glazed Cinnamon roll will create new taste buds in your mouth you never thought you had before.
A must visit if you're in Dana Point.

Hands down the best breakfast in DP. At times a victim of their own popularity, but on a recent rainy day, although still busy, we found a cozy spot with no wait. Food is always great and service is cheerful, efficient and swift. Couldn't ask for more.

Having breakfast with my sister and she took me here. I always wanted to eat here but the wait always too long, Today was special got in within five minutes.

We had the "Petey" breakfast. We had the banana pancakes. Wow! Amazingly good! Wife knows and loves good pancakes, she says they were the best she's had. Perfectly cooked and good size. Great food and great location across from the harbor. Great experience.

Service was great overall. The food was delicious, we enjoyed the many choices in the menu, and the nice atmosphere. This would definitely be my go to spot for breakfast when I'm in that area!

My kinda place! Down to earth with really good food! Suggest only ordering half of the Biscuits and Gravy. Had 3 omelets and the Cinnamon roll French toast, bloody mary, mimosas. All was really good and the service was wonderful (the whole table came out at one time!)

We (My daughter and I) had the BEST breakfast today! Nicole is an awesome server! I had the Breakfast Burrito 🌯 and it was SO good! My daughter enjoyed the BLT and loved it! This place is simply the best! Thanks RJ for opening such a great place!

Great place great food great waitresses and cooks. Yummy cinnamon rolls too.

Dog friendly, and the brunch is amazing, the service is super quick, almost unbelievably so. Also they loved our dog Walter there. Too bad we were just on vacation! Will be returning if we come back to Dana Point.

I had a simple breakfast of two eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns, and toast. They were short staffed and doing their best to meet the demand. It's a popular place, and so things were a little crazy and my server did her best to get us all our items. Despite that little snag, the food was excellent and the service was great considering what their servers were putting up with this morning. The hash browns were the best I've ever had; light and fluffy and about three orders of magnitude better than what I have come to expect. I'd return here for breakfast or lunch when I'm in the area.

We were told this place was great and they were right. It tasted even better than it looked and it looked awesome. Nice atmosphere and staff. Good service and the place has Wi-Fi. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

This is my go to breakfast spot. Large portions of breakfast items at reasonable prices served by friendly staff. If you are a regular you will get the "cheers" feeling of a place everyone knows your name.

The food was awesome! The cinnamon rolls are amazing! Service was excellent!! The staff was so accommodating when we limited time before he had to leave for our ferry. Highly recommend! Highly recommend.
