Great Starbucks, probably my favorite one in town. I come here often to do some work. Lots of tables, and very well lit.

Bathroom can be a bit cleaner, though.

Not all Starbucks are created equal...some set the customer care bar so high other Starbucks staffers need to charter a plane just to see it. The local store nearest my home pooched a 45lb whole bean order I placed well in advance, so I began calling around. Shannon at this DP location went out of her way to assist me and I left with the majority of my order...finding my Christmas coffee beans had been tough, I called several local stores and even those with "some inventory" refused to pull together and set aside my order. Not Shannon, she recognized I had already gotten screwed by another store and she was going to fix it so I wouldn't hate all Starbucks. This store is much further away but I will drive here from now on solely because of the way she and her colleagues handled my needs today. I will never return to the store on Los Mares again. They really disappoint. I was pretty upset with that San Clemente manager when I called this Dana Pt. store and 90 minutes later I'm giving them a five star review. Go see what all the fuss is about. There's a great group of young women here who go out of their way to make you smile. Thanks Shannon, you're what customer care is all about. The staff’s collective goodwill permeates the atmosphere here and you can feel it when you enter the building. It is rare to find a place that instantly makes my feel good. Thank you ladies.

On the weekends I often take a motorcycle ride along the coast, and I stop at this Starbucks to grab a coffee and read. It is always clean, quiet, and everyone is friendly. Something about it is just more charming than the rest.

Fast and efficient! No line in the morning. Full menu and clean restrooms.

I have never received such good service from a Starbucks in my life like I received at this one today. The people were fast and helpful and they even answered questions for me about the drinks and modified them for me.

The team at this Starbucks really feel like a team. Everyone broadcasts happiness and hospitality. Location is kind of awkward to get to from a driving standpoint and I deal with it because of the quality service and hospitality

The staff was amazing as always. The drinks we ordered were made right and were very tasty. I love the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha but is only around the holidays. So you bet this is the time I stop by more often.

Drive thru review: it can be a long or a short line, but I love seeing and talking to the person I am ordering from.

Ordered my go to (iced vanilla latte) and as always, it was delicious and just what I needed as a mid day pick me up.

This shop was on point. We had a very large drive thru order with food and drinks. The baristas were 100% accurate. We also had an easy ordering experience. The barista heard it all on the first attempt and recapped it all as well. The only critique, which is out of their control and was not bad, is the drive thru parking Situation. But all in all awesome experience.

I will never go to another starbucks a day in my life. Dana starbucks just hits different after a long week. I’m gonna be completely honest, I’m here almost everyday and spend all my money at this place. COMPLETELY WORTH IT, especially for the vanilla sweet cream cold foam😍😍😍😍😍 love everyone who works there

They have different breakfast than anyone else. Nice atmosphere. Cool employees

I was so frustrated today with Starbucks for multiple reasons some was under their control some wasn't. And I really wanted to give them a one start for this visit, but unfortunately I could not the lady's kindness handling my order didn't give me a chance.

I liked this location because it was spacious and empty. Only old men drink coffee here. Pleasant service and no drama.

Busy drive thru location. Super cool place to hang if you have one of those free afternoon. Short hair manager young lady puts %100 effort through my month stay visit in Dana point. I was there almost every other day afternoon. Place was so clean and employees were so kind and polite. Thank you!

Go there every morning. The line might look long (literally out into the alley and street), but the staff hustle like crazy and move stuff along with a quickness.
Oh, and if you want dark roast... get there before 11am.
