El Dorado Inn

The staff was on point!!! When we first arrived Dottie helped us out, she went far beyond our expectations for great customer service. She even got my daughter a backpack to start her new school with!!! We stayed for almost a month and would have stayed longer if we could have. It was very quite, no drama, and felt very safe. The programs they offer was awesome: family dinner nights, free food and clothes, on-site Bible studies.....way cool
The staff is NOT strict but they do want decent tenants not drug addicts, severe felons or abusive couples...that's why it was such a pleasant place to stay.

I have spent a great deal of my life and motels and hotels over the years, but this was the one chain that actually made it feel like a home. The staff was friendly and the whole atmosphere was just a positive welcoming experience. I got a discount through the OC register when you stay for an entire week, I know a lot of people don't do that or can't afford that, but if you can, it's definitely worth your money

The ladies who helped check me in were amazing from start to finish. They work with non-profits like the illumination foundation and county run programs to provide adequate housing to families with low income. Plus they have a variety of social activities for parents and kids.

Matt at the front desk was super helpful and informative when we came to check in. He epitomized Customer Service Skills. The rooms are good size with walk in closets and full size fidges. They also offer weekly community activities.

Stayed here for two weeks and the staff is really friendly and helpful, the people are super nice and every week they have special events like on Wednesday there is a “family dinner” for everyone who has a paid receipt for their room, they can go downstairs and meet up with other people that are living/staying there for a free dinner! As well as having a library full of hundreds of donated books for all ages! And on friday it’s root beer float night in the parking lot for everyone! It’s actually a really great place if you have low income or are in between places. I would definitely recommend this place to someone I know or care about.

Staff is very friendly, attendly to your needs . They have a army of maintenance men that take care of the place 7 days a week. So if you have a issue fix it the same day . Once a month a church comes on Saturday gives out free groceries. Me and my roommate received $50.00 worth of groceries each . First Wednesday of the month anotherfloats church comes and gives out free dinners , we had enchiladas. And once a month on Fridays another church comes and gives free root beer floats. Rooms are big and and airy. They rent weekly , they don't rent by the day. And they expect you to pay your rent on time. After 3 weeks if you want to stay longer you can sign a lease with a $500.00 deposit plus your weekly rent. Place is quit and the people here are nice. There is no drugs or alcohol allowed and no partying or loud music. There is a waiting list so if you want to stay here I highly recommend to get on it . Some people only stay a week or to so rooms will come available. All and all high highly recommend the el dorado.

This place is awesome. I recommend it to any newcomer. However if youare late paying your rent they will forever kick you out. Really sucks. The 40 day lockout also sucks. After 30 daysthey lock you out of your room for 24 hours. But with bad comes good. And there is lots of good. Library, food pantry, dinner served once a week, breakfast sundays. Friday nights they have ice cream and a movie in the back. Child care. Computer room. Monthly medical and dental bus. And holidays they hand out extra bags of food including turkeys. All free.

The grounds are awesome and quite beautiful on the inside. Individual unites vary. But the staff are kind and quick to help.

Plus they have the extended residents, ( it's about a $1000 security deposit but so worth it for the am out you pay perweek)which I was very greatful for given I was in a binde and needed a place to stay at the time. They are a great little operation with a library, pool, on site laundry, and very close to staters and other stores.

If in a pinch and they have an open riim, grab it. Best deal and price in town........ Or CA? Especially for the quality you get.

Btw the on site mechanic is one of the fastest workers I have ever seen. And good at his job to.

I don't care what anyone says about this place and the workers. I Lived there for a few years and my husband was maintenance there. We got along with all the workers and Debra. And ase for the rooms and the ground they are well kept seeing as how the maintenance has so much to do.

Looks nice from the outside of it. It has a big grass courtyard in the middle of the all the rooms, and a nice little water spout/pond in the front. This place is nice for staying a night or so for the price.

The El Dorado Inn is a hugh turn turn around from before. Now with the remodle cleaning out the the Inn its wonderful. My honey and i stayed there for 3 weeks to build our relationship, was going through rough times, and its a quiet calming & clean Inn. No bugs which is a hugh plus in our eyes. Stores are walking distance..wonderful!! They have activities and events that everyone there at Inn are welcomed to. I would go back to the El Dorado Inn with my honey again for a week as a get away from everyone.

It is kept very clean and tidy and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. I feel my daughter and grandson who live there are in a safe and secure place.

I haven't had any issues with this place since i been here.....people are relatively friendly...staff offer great customer care in my opinion, price is very reasonable compare to other places, and the rooms are on point......full walk in closet with a compact kitchen with a full refrigerator...the only thing mission was a stove...good thing i got my crockpot and electric 🍳....they also have a dinner on Wednesdays with bible sunday....root beer floats with food and desert on fridays and games for the kids....a pantry on saturdays and church on sundays....cant beat that...plus they got a pool and the place looks like its in a rain forest....calm and peaceful in my book.....mins from walmart beach blvd.....99 cents store right next door....my only downside is the three month worth of pay stubs you gotta have before you can get on a lease...sucks if you just started a job.......but thats my only beef and you only can stay for three weeks otherwise.....so besides those two issues....dope place....

Nice place, good environment. Quite, nice people. Clean rooms. No bugs. This is my first stay in a motel. I have no complaints.

Very cozy stay quiet not too many rooms around you my friend that lives there loves it

I stayed in this motel in the past and its been professional threw n threw the manager is on site n the staff Treats u with respect n curtisy.The rooms are clean n big the pool is wonderful lovely landscaping and alot of parking plus Stater Bros,99cent,china king Burger King,Hometown Buffet,and other places to eat are in walking distance.I would highly recommended this place to frinds n family.

Love this place. Ive stayed here off and on through my travel simply because of their weekly rate and spacious rooms.

You know what for the area this is a decent place with a lot more potential. The staff is nice and it has a nice greenery scene and pool always looks inviting

Got stuck in an apartment rental nightmare, El Dorado got me in in one hour! Furnished studio about $1300!

I actually really liked staying there it was very quiet.
