Larwin Park

It's a great little park in city of Buena Park next to where Ralph's used to be. I used to come here with my girl in the 90s. They used to have a 3 inch wadding pool for kids. But for public safety, it's no longer there. Good times. So happy it still exists.

As of 5-29-2019 they started to put up the sun shade over the play areas.
The play areas are foam and not wood chips with all kinds of rope climbing jungle gyms. There is a sand pit for younger children. There are dirt paths for walking around the perimeter of the park. As well as a full basketball court. There are clean well maintained public restrooms and a nice covered picnic area with barbeque/grill.
It has 2 Parking areas. 1 directly off of ball and the other inside the neighborhood. Overall a clean and well-kept Park.

Nice, friendly, and beautiful park with plenty of activities for children at the center and a nice open field to play some sports. There's even a nice track around the field to walk or run and two areas to park in.

My kids love this place. The equipment is covered from direct sun. There is a good variety of equipment for different ages. My kids love the big rope swings. There is even a large sand pit with lots of things to do. They also have covered tables and the bathrooms are decent.

First time visiting this park. Very clean. 2 Playgrounds...1 for bigger kids, and 1 for smaller kids. Beautiful landscaping. Play areas covered for shade. Pets welcome. Trash cans and baggies provided to clean up after pets. My son, my niece, and my dog ALL loved this park!! Will definitely be back!

This park is awesome. Restrooms are very clean. While I was there the park ranger truck came and 3 city workers were checking around. The play equipment is very well kept and new, and different from the common slides and equipment from regular parks. There are two big circular swings, both kids and parents can have a relaxing time on those. To top it up, there are canopies to keep the kids from extra sun exposure! This park got a 10/10 score. I just wished it was bigger, but with the available ground they did an awesome job in the design. There's even a track field in the back to jog and play soccer. When we were there our group placed a volleyball court there and there was plenty of room for soccer on the right side area. The park also has 2 basketball courts and bug picnic area with tables. Will definitely visit again!

My kid LOVES this park. The people are always friendly. The park is clean. People leave toy shovels and buckets for the kids to play with in the sandbox. Really enjoy coming to this park the most, and it's in a great neighborhood

Nice place for barbecue and spend time with family

There are two areas where you can park, one is on the Main Street on Ball Road and the other one is in the neighborhood. There are two divided play areas which keeps the children safer AND There's a sandy area that has one opening. I like that because I can keep an eye on my son. There's also a toddler play area that is completely separated from the older kids play area. There are some restrooms there and they are kept clean. I have not see any people just hanging around so that makes the park look nice and safe. the park is small or it has that appearance but all of the playground equipment is all shaded which is a plus for me I love shade. There's also a nice path in the back where you can walk ( with your pet).. the park is pet friendly.

The nicest park in the area! Very spacious and clean. It would be nice if more people took advantage of the good weather and played outdoor basketball (and, if they had installed an additional court). With all the space, perhaps some weights or excercise equipment would be nice? But overall, can't complain and I visit whenever I drive by

I've been visiting this Park for a few years, absolutely love it, nice, quiet and plenty of safe space for kids to play..

Beautiful park , my grandson and I truly had so much fun.

It's a nice park. I like that both playgrounds are close to each other. One for toddlers and the other for bigger kids.

We got there about 7:30pm. We brought the kids and dog. There were a few other people there with dogs as well. It was very quiet with just a few people at the tables. We ate dinner there and the kids played on all the toys and ran with the dog. The grass was cut and beautiful landscaping.The only complaint I would have would be that every trash can was full to overflowing. It was a Sunday so I'm sure it will be cleaned up tomorrow morning.

Clean... Dog friendly... Lots of places to sit and things for kids to climb. The younger kid section is really nice as well and lots of grass area. Definitely bringing the pup next time. Restrooms and water fountain

Great local park for kids. Has playground for 2-5, and another for older kids. Also has canopies that cover both playgrounds. Our Grandson had a lot of fun here!

I recently discovered this park last Monday and it’s amazing! There’s so much to explore for the kids (as young as 1) and adults. I feel a kid when I come here with my nieces and nephews!

The playground areas are covered:

Younger kids area consists of 2 swings, 2 types of slides, monkey bars, seesaw, spinning equipment, and a a huge sand box with 2 play areas inside. There’s even a mini rock wall to climb.

Older kids get to enjoy the huge (1story high) rope and net climbing equipment, 4 regular swings, 2 round hammock swings that fits about 4, several types of spinning-1 with a net, 2 stand ups, & 1 looks like a huge flying ring that’s tilted, a twisted net to climb across to the tall playground with swing, rock climbing walls, and aluminum bars.

More stuff:

I’m addition to the amazing play area, there are 2 half courts, open grass area for sports practice or just area for kids to run around, and 6 benches & table area with 1 bbq grill (requires reservation to use). Benches & tables are covered to use.

Dog friendly:

Poopoo bags are located throughout the park to clean up after your little pooches. I haven’t brought my dogs here, but I will one of these days.

There are two parking lots, that I haven’t seen full the last two times I came.

Come by with your kiddos and you’ll have lots of fun!!!

Loved it here. Recently remodeled. My kids had a great time. It was very crowded but we enjoyed it. There are bathrooms tables and 2 play areas. One for toddlers one for bigger kids.
