The staff here are really quick at answering any questions that you may have. I came to get a layout of a property I'm purchasing since it's on a hill it was really hard to tell where the land ends. They helped me understand which parcels I'll be owning. Really enjoyed me visit.

Excellent staff , also the Riverside county sheriff's department is excellent The leadership of Sergeant Mr. Jafel Erazo has been nothing but excellent, he brings great experience along with his staff and he is an excellent leader ,I commend the great leadership keep up the great work ! 💯👮😊

It is a wonder anything ever gets done in this county at all. I truly have no idea what the people in the office are even doing all day. Twiddling their thumbs? Playing cards? Burning the forms people mail in for fun? Because the answer is definitely not Their Jobs. Contacting them is a nightmare, and if you’re one of the lucky ones that does manage to open a line of communication (usually *several months* AFTER you initiate contact), good luck finding someone who cares whether you even live or die. We are never, ever building anything in Riverside County ever again, or doing anything that requires interacting with the county in any capacity. If you’re thinking of building anything, anything at all, do it in a different county. Don’t buy property in Riverside County. Don’t begin any projects that require communication with the county. Don’t trust that they’ll communicate anything in a timely or reasonable manner. Don’t put any faith in them, don’t give them any of your money, don’t rely on them for anything. Just run and never look back.

This is the worst city office I have ever dealt with, After visiting the office in Riverside I was told there was a 3 - 4 hour wait so I made an appointment two weeks later and was given paperwork to fill out and given paperwork on how to log in to the riverside portal. When I showed up for my appointment I was told they didn't accept any plans in person and that they had to be uploaded to the portal and that they didn't have time to deal with me uploading at that time because they had other appointments to deal with. This was totally unbelievable that my time wasnt important to the other appointments. I drove twice an hour each way to get treated like this in which my tax money supports this office. After dealing with this I went to the front desk to make another appointment in which the lady told me to have a seat because the computer wasn't letting her make an appointment for me. I just walked out at this time this is the most unprofessional place I've had to deal with in a long time.

I have a mixed review, I'll start off on a positive note that when I went in person, everyone was helpful. This review is more about my phone experience though. When I call (I've found several other people to have this exact same problem, with the same person.) the lady who answers the phone is extremely rude, gives inaccurate information and seems like she does not want to help at all. I just want to know why someone like that is handling the phones, and engaging with the public when they don't have any basic concept of how to be polite, or how to do their job correctly? In my opinion she should be working in a different department where she doesn't have to interact with customers because she is an extremely unpleasant person. I can understand one time, maybe she was having a bad day, but I've heard from multiple people that she is always like this.

RIVCO HR keeps a blacklist of former employees who engaged in union and management disputes. Stay away from this county agency. RIVCO should be sued for its practices.

I went here to try and get aproval for building plans on the building and safety permits floor and the help here is terrible. I was waiting for about 40 min with other people aswell and the lady did not seem to want to help at all. Once a younger man walks in she decides to help him and moves him to the top of the line on top of that she was flirting, she told him he could make an appointment online so he wouldnt have to wait in line and this is how he skipped all of us. Why did this lady not tell anyone else waiting that we could do this? If she is not going to do her job and help like she is supposed to, then why is she there. Very disapointed. I didnt even end up getting help because i had already waited an hour and was going to wait even more because people were getting set back. So dissapointed.

No service!
Over 40 years going there getting permits service getting worse by the day!
Sit and wait for 1 to 3 hours almost everytime in planning and building dept to find out your missing one item and unable to submit your plans.
If I ran my business like they run the Riverside county building dept no service. I would be out of business in one week. That's the truth.
If I could go somewhere else to get permits I would.

So. What did y’all do with the money for those poor Turpin children? Who still don’t have access to basic needs that YOU were supposed to help with and provide. Absolute monsters.
