if you own a BMW (or not) and you are around Chico CA, this is a must go to place, free coffee, knowledgeable staff, BMW owners ride 2 to 3 hours to have their bikes serviced by OZZIEs Techs. i had no appointment, however they found time to change a chain and two sprockets. great service great staff great place

What a pleasure to be able to write a positive review! After being treated by a BMW dealer in the Sacramento area like I was not worth their time I was referred to Ozzie's.

I called and spoke with Jessee where I told him about my recent experience and frustration. Jessee treated me like I was a friend he had know his whole life. I bought the bike over the phone and drove to Chico to pick it up the next day.

Upon my arrive I was greeted by Jessee who had all documents ready for my signature. Cayden who works with Jessee asked for my cell phone where he set up the BMW app. When I drove away my helmet and phone were synced with my new bike!!

I was at 6k miles of a 11k trip around the U.S. and read great reviews about Ozzie's. The reviews were correct! Got the bike in for maintenance quickly even though they were really booked. I normally don't like working with dealers since generally I don't trust them. The guys at the counter knew what I was talking about when I referenced a potential issue with my M-Endurance chain and were generally pleasant to talk with. I wish I lived closer as they would be my dealer.

The staff is absolutely top shelf. They are supremely knowledgable & very personable. The work they do is always flawless & done in a timely manner. Jessie cares about having long term relationships with his customers.

Ozzie's is awesome! One of the best BMW shops around. Honest, great service department and they don't try and screw you over with high prices like a certain other dealership with an "A" and "S" in the name. I can't recommend Ozzie's highly enough, they're great!

I went on a long trip from the east coast west and back. I scheduled changing tires plus oil. The staff was very accommodating with my schedule--I had to change the appointment a couple of times. When I arrived to Chico they were expecting me and prioritize servicing my bike.

I brought with me an old BMW R100R, as you can imagine these old airheads require expert service. Ozzie's provided that! There was a small oil leak in the oil sensor, staff fixed it as well.

I cannot say enough of how professional, knowledgeable and friendly Ozzie's staff is. I only hope they would near home ... I would recommend to everyone this business. Top notch.

Sadly Ozzie passed away a year ago but the shop lives on with his grandson at the helm. Service is always excellent and the customer service outstanding. I live 60 miles from the shop and when I need service they go out of their way to get it done while I wait in Chico. So I go out to lunch, maybe a movie, then drive home in the afternoon. These guys really know their stuff and are always helpful with both free advice for troubleshooting over the phone and in all their work.

This is a small, often hard to find dealership that goes out of its way to give outstanding service. Good prices on new & used BMW motorcycles, too.
Although Ozzie is gone, his family continues the high standard of service Ozzie was famous for.
I highly recommend this dealership.

Excellent family ran business and shop! Everything you would want as a rider from a shop, found within the hearts and souls that make OZZIE'S what it truly is. My dad has trusted Ozzie and the family for over 20yrs (133k miles ago on his bike purchased from ozzie 98), and I will carry that torch for as long as Im able. We live up in Trinity County and so it was a toss-up whether to take our BMWs to Medford or Chico for servicing but many years ago, we heard great stuff about Ozzie's and went their direction.
We never looked back.

From the first time I rolled in on my 1150 RT and met the crew, I was impressed. Ozzie was still alive then and he was the epitome of an old world, old school businessman. He said there was only one way to do the right thing and that's how Ozzie's operates.

Fast forward to a recent trip to Ozzie's for my husband's 1200c Phoenix. He removed our dog Buf's sidecar and trailered the bike down. While waiting for it, he biked around Bidwell Park with Buf and they both loved it. (The whole town is really cool.) They were back home by early evening.

The next day, Jessee (Ozzie's grandson who is now in charge) called to say David, the mechanic who worked on the Phoenix, found a shim in the parts cleaner. It goes in the rear-end of the bike. There was no mention of any other solution than for David to drive up, pick up the Phoenix, take it back to Chico, install the shim and then drive it back up. Imagine that!

By comparison, a friend has a Harley that sat most of the summer of 2020 in the Redding HD dealership waiting for replacement of custom throttle cables they installed that did not work at all. HD kept trying to ding him for charges for their screw-ups!

When David arrived to pick up the Phoenix, Buf was elated! She was quite a star at the shop where they are solid dog people. David strapped down the Phoenix and was scratching Buf prior to departure when I got the idea to send my RT down for a tune-up. It would help defray some of the costs of them coming for the Phoenix and I usually wait too long before servicing my bike, anyway. Why not take advantage of the free pick-up and delivery? (I must admit though Buf was not at all pleased to see David drive away with her bike.)

The turnaround for both bikes was just a day or two and this time, Jessee brought them back. We kept telling him how impressed we were. Since only Ozzie's works on our bikes, we wouldn't have known what caused a problem with the missing shim. But Ozzie's would know.

And OZZIE would know. I'm pretty sure he still keeps his twinkling eyes looking down on his beloved shop. No wonder riders routinely drive hundreds of miles to patronize Ozzie's. We do, happily. And Buf was enchanted to have our third Ozzie's guy arrive at our cabin. (#1 was Billy. Years ago, he rode up after work to install a part that had been back-ordered. We did reward him for his effort, but he didn't have to do it.)

One last thing: I've been in a fair number of bike shops over the decades and have never been treated better—which for me means like one of the guys, not some oddity or someone to be ignored because I'm a woman.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! While on a long trip my final drive started leaking oil. I was 2 1/2 hours away from Ozzie's. I called and explained my situation. They said bring it in and they would look at it. Not only did they take me right in, they fixed the final drive problem AND an ABS issue I was having. Great people, great service! I am an Ozzie's fan for life!

I've purchased two bikes from Ozzies in the past 2+ years and find the entire staff there responsive, fair, honest, skilled & pleasant to boot. The senior mechanic has kindly picked me up from home to pick up my bike and did a great job on some customized wiring for my obsession w/ loud horns for both bikes and another tech there even dropped off parts and tools for me to my home on one occasion when I had a problem. If they were not in the general area I'd likely be riding a different type of MC as the next closest shops are around 90m away, and that would be sad as I really, really like this RTW!

I've been going to Ozzies shop for almost 30yrs and still remember the day a guy called and told Ozzie his BMW was sitting on the side of the road. Ozzie went and picked up a guy he had never met, took him back to the shop, fixed his bike and sent him on his way. That type of thing happened often. Now that Ozzie is gone (I miss laughing and telling stories with him), Emmy, the Grandson and the rest of the crew are sticking to Ozzies traditions. They better as I'm sure Ozzie's ghost roams the rooms of the biggest little BMW shop in the nation, making sure his beloved BMW's and his customers are being taken care off.
