Gentle Dental Placentia

This was my first time at this dentist and my first time going to a dentist in awhile and this was my best dental experience. From the front desk, technician to the dentist, everyone was super kind, helpful, and “gentle”. The dentist explained every step of the treatment and I felt heard. This experience motivated me to take better care of my teeth. I would recommend this dentist to everyone.

I needed to see a dentist ASAP due to a painful toothache I was experiencing. Thankfully, they got me in to see the dentist on the same day. Everyone in the office was so kind and welcoming. I indeed found a new profound admiration for the work dentists perform.

I’ve been going to the Gentle Dental, dentist office on Rose Dr. in Placentia for a few years now and since the office has a new staff I’d like to say that the front office personnel are very polite,knowledgeable and well help any way they can.
I would also like to say that DR. Poliran addresses all your problems and concerns, and what he needs to do fix them.
To be honest I don’t like going to the dentist and I would recommend this dentist to everyone.

I enjoyed my visit yesterday. Had to have 2 fillings replaced. Dr. explained everything, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. No discomfort at all last night or today. Looking forward to my prophy appt in January

Everyone is super nice and helpful, the doctor is patient and kind. They have financing available if needed. And as their name implies, yes they are gentle.

I’ve been a patient here for 3 years and each time is a great experience. Dr. Peddireddy is a great dentist, and her assistant Luis is very friendly. The manager is also very helpful!

In June of 2020, I had an extraction for prepping to have implant, it was not a good experience, I was shaking and scared to death. It was a difficult extraction and I received no reassurance etc from the dentist (who is the lady). I did not return till today 4-29-21 because of the last experience. I received no call or reminder of any kind, but put big girl pants on and went to them today. Two reasons 1) follow up and proceed with implant 2) I felt my crown was loose, they took x-ray of space for implant and after reminding them I also came in because of crown, they took 2 more pictures. Had financial lady come in and told me it would be over $2100 after insurance. Then dentist came in and told me it would be better if she didn’t look or touch crown because it could create more problems!!! What???? So to sum up visit, I had 4 x-rays (which was unnecessary, but will bill insurance greatly for that service) and told me how much my share of implants and scheduled appointment. Now the dentist never once inspected or looked in my mouth, after not being seen since June of last year, having a complaint of possibly a loose crown. Plus as an added bonus, I spent an hour and 20 minutes there. Needless to say, I will not return and hopefully they read this and take it to heart. The dentist is a very scary place and people that work in this profession should have empathy and compassion and if not you should think about a different profession.

I had my first Dental appoint on Tues June 19th. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. All I have to say is i love my new Dentist, his exam was very thorough and his assistant was very nice. This office is very close to my house which is nice. I have a fear of needles and he made me feel very comfortable, and I didn't even feel the injection he had to give me. Gentle Dental they live up to their name. 😉

Today was my very first experience here at the Gentle Dental office in Placentia. I was slightly nervous about coming in since I haven't had a check-up in years... Yes, YEARS! However, upon meeting Dr. S., Henny, and Nicole, I had an incredible experience!! Dr. S. and his staff were extremely kind, accommodating, and patient to my needs! I highly recommend this office!!

What I’m about to say is not to impress the dentists and employees at Gentle Dental Placentia, or anyone else. I simply wish to state legit facts from my experience. Nothing more, nothing less. Literally every person in there treated me warmly and with respect. Judy at the front pleasantly & quickly got me checked in, offering me water, coffee & even a danish slice! The young lady assisting Dr. Simonian was very friendly, quick and attentive in getting my X-rays completed and helping the doctor with his various needs. Dr. Simonian was down to earth, helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate as he thoroughly explained my dental situation. You can tell he takes great care in his work which I appreciate very much. Another young lady was super charming and sweet as she explained pricing & my procedure options & things I can do at home to help my teeth. I’ll be back in two weeks to laser clean the left side of my mouth, then I’ll be doing regular checkups to track maintenance and progress. All in all— professional, positive, quick, compassionate, thorough, generous and skilled. Thank you all!

I love this office. It had a hard start with a manager that is not longer with the company and they also had some plumbing issues that caused the office to shut down for a few months. But the new staff and the office is great. Everyone is so friendly, the back office was welcoming and the girl in the front office was great at asking and schlding my nxt cleaning appointment. If your not familiar with your insurance then I can understand why some people in other reviews may think it is an up sale but in my experience is was not. The manager was very clear that some of the things were recommended and were not covered by my insurance but over all they allowed me to decided and explained everything to me. I would defiantly recommenced this office and say give it another try.

Dr Simonian is great! I took my 4 year old niece and he was very gentle, patient and caring with her. She loved him and wasn’t scared at all, thanks to the great team over there!!

I was a little nervous about my first dental checkup in years but the whole staff was very comforting and personable. Plus, they had me out earlier than expected. Thank you!!
