I LOVE it when I walk into a bookstore and the workers actively read and can recommend me books based on our conversation and what I have read. This bookstore hits every checkmark and everyone there was just delightful. I will definitely be back - new favorite bookstore!

An absolutely incredible store located in the historic district in Anacortes, WA. It has a wide variety of books that will please just about everyone. They also have a huge selection of gifts, souvenirs and PNW art. The staff here is incredibly friendly and values their customer base. Highly recommend checking this little book store out.

Best book store in town! This one sells new books. Wonderful customer service can recommend reading gems or order in anything. The cookbook, poetry, and kids selections in store are particularly good.

This was one of the best bookstores I’ve been too. They had a bunch of different kids of stuff. I got a puzzle and a few books, and the person waiting there was super nice. I will definitely come back.

Small town helpful with big city selection. This is the quintessential bookstore you hope to go to. Many other fun things in addition to books too. I highly recommend them! A must stop if in Anacortes.

I love independent bookstores. This is an exceptional one. From the organization, welcoming feeling, selection of books, and, perhaps most importantly, the promotion of important books, this bookstore is worth a visit and worth your business. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful store and staff. I recently contacted Watermark Book Company asking if they could send me some books. I wanted to make sure I was supporting a local business, but I also wanted to find some great new reads while stuck at home. The owner called me almost immediately to discuss books and hand-selected six new books (pictured). I am so impressed with the selection and cannot wait for more recommendations. Thank you!!

Small shop with a big selection. One of my favorite stops in Anacortes; I gravitate to the staff recommendations for non-fiction and reference. Some sections are limited in size, but the choices are unique and offer an ever changing inventory that keeps the browsing fresh.

I love this bookstore. When I'm in the area, I make time to stop in. The people who work there are delightful and definitely readers. And they have a wonderful selection of books and puzzles. The atmosphere is spot on.

They have a large selection, and an easy to browse layout. They have a nice section on local topics and by local authors. Cozy vibe with friendly, helpful employees.

Great independent bookstore. Recently came under new ownership so a young, fresh vibe is apparent. Same fantastic selection as always. They have a book club and host author events and have chocolate too. I appreciate the staff favorites section and their rotating seasonal displays where I have discovered books I would not have run across otherwise.... Which is why we should all be shopping in brick and mortar bookstores - that is the best way to stumble across amazing books you wouldn't normally have found.

One of A-town's two independent book stores. This store carries NEW books, cards, calendars, gift items and they gift rap for free. The staff are always eager to help you find what you are looking for, very friendly folks. This establishment is another town treasure, not to be missed.

The employees at this book store have a great knowledge of authors, etc. There is a wonderful selection of books for all readers plus gifts, cards, etc. It's my favorite book store around.
