Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary

I had the privilege of experiencing the exceptional service provided by Pierce Brothers Crestlawn, a part of Dignity Mortuary and Cemetery in Riverside, California, during a difficult time. My mother, Francisca Ramirez, received a beautiful funeral and was laid to rest in a serene location that provided comfort and peace.

I cannot speak highly enough of Maricela, she basically held our hand from beginning to end, her professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail were truly outstanding. Maricela's leadership was exceptional, and her team worked seamlessly together to ensure that every aspect of the funeral and burial was handled with care and respect.

From the moment we arrived at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn, we felt supported and cared for. Maricela and her team took care of everything, allowing our family to focus on honoring and remembering our beloved mother. The service they provided was truly above and beyond our expectations.

The location itself was beautiful and provided a peaceful setting for the funeral and burial. The attention to detail in every aspect of the arrangements was evident, and it made a difficult time a little easier to bear.

I am immensely grateful to Maricela, Briana, Jessica, Ana, and the entire team at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn for their exceptional service and support during a challenging time. Their dedication and compassion made all the difference, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

Ruben was amazing. He went the extra mile in helping us get out the flower vases for both of my parents. He also trimmed around their headstones and polished them up. I am so glad he was here to help us and show my parents respect and handle their graves with care. To him it may have only been a few minutes out of his day but to me and my family it means the world that he was kind, caring, respectful, and went the extra mile for our loved ones.

Losing my mom was one of the hardest days of my life. But the people at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park were so incredibly kind and helpful. It made this terribly sad day as special and as memorable as possible. They were so respectful of my mom and to our whole family. The grounds are beautiful, the office staff are kind and helpful. All of the employees we encountered were so lovely and professional. They answered every question we had, eased every concern & helped us through this difficult time with so much professionalism and grace. I would 100% recommend them to anyone. My husband and I were so pleased, we are planning our own services with them.

Excellent service from first time meet and greet throughout the process of funeral. I would personally recommend Marissa Marquez and the team from the funeral services to Roseanna Martinez and the team for the cemetery services. Impeccable hospitality in a time of grief and also a pandemic. The ability to have a superb team throughout from the time you walk in the door with unfortunate events and have a facility treat you in family setting has made me think of future. I am grateful for your services and have already plan for future unavoidable events.

Pierce Bros Crestlawn were very professional and detailed in handling our son’s cremation and memorial services. All the employees were very genuine and caring and respectful.

The staff at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary were very courteous and nice, they did an excellent job with my mother and listened to all our needs and wants and they honored them, I thank all of them so much!

Very happy with the time “Mirna” took showing us the beautiful grounds and various areas to choose from. She answered all our questions and provided additional information should we have any further concerns. All said, we were very satisfied with the experience.

My family was extremely satisfied with the care and professionalism provided by Patricia Villarreal from Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary. She provided an informative appointment in Spanish and ensured the funeral ceremony was organized and prepared with dignity. We were given the necessary time and space to say our goodbyes and feel at ease. We are all immensely grateful for the services provided.

Cemetary is beautiful and clean. Staff is professional and friendly. Went with a friend to help her through this difficult process and the staff really made the process simple and easy. The last thing most want to focus on is this, but the staff really made every effort to accommodate her.

Fight, Speak, Write, but most importantly ... Listen! This is the valuable lesson I learned from doing business with Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park & Mortuary in the city of Riverside.
After my disappointing review on  August 24th, I replied to the Business Manager's comment via email, Rolando Chavez, who is the General Manager at the facility, & provided him with my phone number to discuss my concerns regarding my fathers stone. At first I wanted nothing to do with this place, but this is my fathers' final resting place, & he deserves respect. I didn't want to deal with them anymore, but I knew my family needed closure, & I had to give the facility an opportunity to fix the situation.
Rolando called me on Sept 3rd, & we had a very professional conversation. He introduced himself, & allowed me to express my concerns. He did not interrupt me once, or tried to justify the mishap that his staff made my family go through. On the contrary, his words, & his mannerism made me comfortable in taking a chance & trusting this man.
That same day, he sent me a sample of what my dad's stone would like, & if approved he would send it out immediately, which we approved, and he sent out. He made no empty promises, but promised he would do what he could on his end to rectify the mishap. He did remind me that the process can take up to 14 weeks, but would follow up with the company every 2 weeks, and update me on the status. That same day, he called back and asked if it was ok to place a small marker with my father's name, date of birth, and date of passing, & offered a flower bouquet which would be waiting for us at the flower shop the next day. I called my mom, & she literally cried with joy, & said yes, have them do it. The next day, we drove up to the cemetery, picked up the bouquet of flowers, & at the site we found his small marker with his info, along with the 2 vases we purchased. Although it was tiny, it was something to show, he was there. It made a HUGE difference. He also welcomed me to call him at any time we are dissatisfied with the gardening in the facility.
After our conversation ended, Rolando checked in with me almost every 2 weeks, and provided me with updates as promised. Again, no commitment on a final placement day, but at least I had more faith,that someone was taking care of business. A couple of weeks later after our last update, he called just to let me know there was another flower bouquet waiting at the flower shop for us.
On Friday, October 15th at 1:34pm, I received a call from Rolando & as usual we had small talk. He then proceeded to inform me that my father's stone had not only been completed, but also placed. I was speechless. I don't even recall ending our conversation. I immediately called my mom to inform her it was done. Tears of joy were just heard on the other side of the call.
Rolando, took my concerns above and beyond my expectations. I expected a lot of bickering back & forth, but instead, I got a professional that handled business as promised in the first place.
Needless to say, I'm changing my review to a 5 because the extra steps that Rolando took made a difference on how my family felt. My hat is tilted to you Mr. Rolando Chavez, because it takes a big person to turn a negative situation into a positive story that can be shared to others.

My family and I are very pleased with the service that Miss Kimberly and Mrs. Daniela have provided us. From the first day we were in the conference room we felt a peace and tranquility. The day of the service, all the girls and the man were very kind to our whole family. On the day of the funeral, the two girls were also very patient while grieving and we were able to see respect to our family, from the men who lowered my father's tomb.
We knew that everything was in God's hands, but this experience was very easy and truly they all showed my dad and my family DIGNITY.
