Walker Funeral Services is like family. It's never easy to go through a huge loss and have to make so many decision your not ready for. My family and I have been so blessed to have Cissy and Bree from Walker help us with so much grace and patience. They really wanted to make sure it was personal to what we wanted. My dad's service was so beautiful, more than I could have ever imagined. I know God had this all planned out. I'm grateful and thankful and from my heart Thank You Walker Funeral Services. Everyone that I talked with was very pleasant and kind, along with answering all my questions. They took great care of us with all aspects of funeral plans and the burial. They truly care about you and even follow up after a few weeks to see how you are doing. My director was Cissy and she is awesome! Walker Funeral home was really amazing with helping plan my dads funeral when he unexpectedly passed away on 8/29/2020. Holly was very responsive and professional during the whole process which helped a lot with having so much other stuff to do and think about. She handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. On the day of the funeral Gregg brought my dad’s beautiful urn and was so friendly and helpful with making sure everything went smoothly.

I used Walker Funeral Services for the cremation of my mother. They were caring and wonderful! It made a very difficult time less difficult because they handled everything so smoothly! My mom died at my home while on hospice. I asked to keep her body until afternoon so my sister, who was flying in hours after my moms death, could see her. They set a time for the afternoon to pick her up and said if I needed longer to let them know! When they arrived they were very nice and gave their sincere sympathies. They did everything, all the way down to ordering her death certificates. Her remains were hand delivered to my home by Greg Walker! The turn around time was surprisingly fast! Everyone was so caring! I highly recommend Walker Funeral Services!

I just lost my wonderful husband of 38 years and Walker Family Funeral Services was referred to me by my pastor. From my first phone call to the burial, Greg Walker and his family were reassuring, compassionate, caring and extremely efficient in taking care of every single detail allowing me to remove that stress and responsibllity from my shoulders in my time of grieving. His funeral service cost were more than reasonable, providing full service including picking up the body from the hospital, choice of casket or urn, programs, flag and flag case, grave stone and service. The quality of the print and pictures on the Obituary and program was excellent.

Walker Funeral Services was so very helpful in my time of need. Greg Walker is the consummate professional, and he made everything that should have been difficult, seem very easy. Prior to the funeral, he helped with all the technical details. Greg was right there at the military funeral for my brother, and he guided and directed everything to go so well that I could focus on the funeral. Mr. Walker was truly a God send in our time of need. He went through many hoops to get our loved one buried as soon as possible. We were in California from out of state. Our brother had passed in L.A. county so it was not easy to get all paperwork prepared to release the body. I know on one day he called L.A. county at least 30 times to obtain proper information. He also coordinated everything for us with the cemetery so we did not have to go there. He was very compassionate and went out of his way to help us. Thanks again Mr. Walker for everything. For families looking for a professional, yet personal mortuary: This is it! I wish I could give them more stars! We are beyond grateful and blessed to have found this place! My dad passed last month while in the hospital. We were notified that we had only 3 days to decide on a mortuary. My sisters, my mom and I had no idea where to begin, so we asked around for references. We visited a mortuary/cemetery combo that was highly recommended and we quickly learned that even death is a "business." We were bombarded with information about package pricing, tile selections for the headstone, fees for everything, etc. Honestly, I felt like I was purchasing a home or something like that. To say the least, it was a disheartening experience. I found out later that this was a corporate business and this was how they ran things. So I continued my search, and to make my long story short, Walker Family Funeral Services came up near me on a google search. I called and spoke with Abigail. I asked questions, so many questions! She was so gracious and patient with me. We made an appointment to go speak with her in person and let me tell you, the difference was night and day. She wasn't trying to upsell packages and services. She was just giving us the basic breakdown while being so personal. She asked how my dad had passed; she addressed my mom and my sisters, making sure we were all happy with the decisions we were making. That meant so much to us! We felt like she acknowledged we were grieving while trying to make these decisions that we were not prepared to make. She even made the programs for our memorial service with an amazing fisherman design (my dad's favorite hobby) and a beautiful photo slideshow to go with it. Then, the memorial service day comes, the funeral coach arrives and we meet Richie and Marissa. Guys, Richie was born for this! He was so sensitive to our family, explaining every step in a professional manner. He was a blessing to have and kept me calm when I started to rush around (I was in charge of the memorial service :0). He kept us on track and on time for the cemetery service right after. They even had a funeral coach that was big enough to take the flowers down to the cemetery. Marissa was wonderful greeting people at the door and handing out the programs and directing people to the guestbook. There are so many other details I could share, but this review has gone on far enough. :D We are forever grateful for this place and the people that made this difficult time just a little easier. Just Wanted to Thank Greg Walker and his Staff for being there in time of need with a sudden death of a Family member who was a Veteran. He had provided a service for My father in law in the past and I was very impressed then. He was the first one we turned to when we looked for someone to plan the services. Compared to other Mortuary's we had dealt with in the past with other Family Members who were non caring and all about the upsell. Greg Made sure the service included all the best Military Honor Guard Volunteers. Greg made the whole experience wonderful. He also arranged two of our family members to join in the missing man formation on their Motorcycles with our fallen Hero in the Hearst Behind us. Everyone who attended the Services who had not been to a Military Funeral were left speechless with all the details put into the services. From the bottom of all the Family's hearts we thank you Greg for making the experience the Best ever.

After my brother died, my sister told me about Walker Funeral Services. We both spoke to Walker Services about what we needed, and they handled it very professionally and courteously. Even though it's been six months from my brother's passing, Walker Services has contacted us to see how we are doing, and I appreciate that.

On the saddest day of our lives we didn’t know where to start looking for cremation services for our 24 yr old son who died of an overdose on April 7, 2020. We asked our church and they recommended Walker Funeral home. I had called a few others in Huntington Beach but it seemed so commercial and not personal enough to trust my baby boy with them. So when I called Walker I spoke with Holly. When she explained what the process was, the first thing she said to me was “When I take him into my care” I can’t tell you what a relief that was. She was so amazing every step and they picked Josh up from the OC Coroners ASAP. I wanted him somewhere I knew they would take care of him and they did.
