Phil's Cafe

Small hole in the wall cafe serving some surprisingly great sandwiches and other breakfast and lunch items. This place is easily passed by if you're driving without looking, but is definitely worth a stop. The turkey pesto sandwich is wonderfully balanced with flavors, and the bacon lettuce avocado tomato sandwich is simple but satisfying with savory crispy bacon. Both sandwiches served on delicious ciabatta. Don't get me started on the fries, they feel like they are puffed to perfection without being overly fried, yet retaining a great seasoned taste. The Thai tea was excellent, a little sweet for my taste but my wife loved it. The staff is super friendly and they will be glad to have you back for another visit. We will be back again to try their other items.

This is a wonderful Sandwich Spot just off the 60 in Riverside. The staff here provides wonderful service and the sandwiches are amazing. From what I hear, the burgers are great as well. It is definitely worth a stop if you are cruising through Riverside. I will certainly be back.

A quiet little area. You wouldn't expect this little shop to be in their area, but it really is a nice little area either to order and go or stay and relax.

No pressure when ordering and the service is nice and welcoming. Will stop by again for their food and drinks.

The food is great and the people are super nice everything on the menu is good but for beginners I would try the legend and the chimichurri steak fries are the best a meal by itself and the portion sizes are nice as well. I would come back to this place just for the customer service though the people are great and make you feel like family whether it's your first time or one hundreth

Ok so today was my first time here, I ordered "the barbarian" sandwich W/ fries and let me tell you it was delicious! The place it self was nice, the employees were so nice also. I WOULD DEFINITELY BE BACK!

So Delicious!!! Must stop if you are in the area. I was nervous going in because of the weird parking but don't let that stop you. Super friendly, helpful and the cafe was cute.

Excellent fresh food. Had the breakfast burrito and a sandwich and both were fine examples of high quality ingredients and execution. The bread was good and lightly toasted, the hash browns in the burrito were a little crunchy. I appreciate the attention to those little details. Highly recommend and looking forward to revisiting again and again.

This little cafe is amazing. Not impressive from the outside, but the food is delicious and the lady always working there is amazing. Not to mention they have a bunch of exotic fruits that they sell for amazing prices. I had never heard of a rambutan fruit before this cafe, and the lady gave me one free to try so I could decide. I saw her do the same for a couple guys last week. Food is fresh and homemade. You wont regret going

My sandwich was delicious, had the Turkey pesto. The fries could have been a little fresher, my Chai tea shake was really good. The staff is super nice. The only downside is very limited parking, the parking lot is tiny and cramped, room for maybe 4 or 5 cars max.

I would normally wait for at least two visits on any place to write a review, I've been coming here for over a year now and believe me on every visit I've experienced amazing food and outstanding customer service.
Very courteous and friendly stuff and management makes one of Jurupa Valley's best sandwich shops on the area. Freshness on every bite, from the veggies to the meat and the juices.. oh boy! You gotta try them, beet? Carrot? Celery? They got it all!

If you live in Jurupa valley you already know about this hidden gem. To the outsider you would probably drive right past and not know how delicious it is. Everything from the service to the food and atmosphere is just so good. The unique food items just cant be found in a chain and honestly it is just a block off the freeway so it is easy to find. Try and support this local eatery you wont regret it. Omg how did I not know about this place. The service and food were absolutely amazing. We got the Barbarian and it was probably the best sandwich I've ever had. I think we found our new favorite spot.

Today was my first time coming here with my friends, and I loved it! The food was good and the fries were really tasty too. They have great atmosphere and super friendly staff! I highly recommend this place!

Great place for lunch. Great staff that are always welcoming and eager to help. The fries are amazing, their sandwiches are great, and there is a lot of variety to try. Definitely a place worth visiting for a casual fun atmosphere and a good meal!

So sick and tired of fast food in the area. This place is amazing and cost the same as a drive thru. The owners are amazing and so sweet. The food is such a change from the norm. We have found our new favorite go to spot.

The people here is super friendly love it these are the best fries ever had. The sandwich love it . And walking distance from my house love it even more if only the opened on sunday I've been there before another occasion and have only tried their coffees which are a great also will be going back

Very friendly and welcoming service. Lighting and decor is pleasant. No music. Wide variety of food to choose from. Breakfast burritos to burgers, along with shakes and boba drinks. Fantastic Turkey Avocado melt with egg. Go ahead and try it

Wow. Such awesome service. We literally walked in at 7pm, which is closing time, (we didn't know) and the lady there was SUPER friendly and assisted us even though she could've made us leave. I already wanna come back. The food was soo good. I would highly recommend it. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and you will feel comfortable.

Where can i begin?! If you need another reason to reconfirm coming here, well here it is! SERIOUSLY TRY THIS PLACE!!! Nothing but good vibes all around. The moment you approach the front counter you are instantly greeted by the owner i believe which is Very friendly! The food is exceptionally AMAZING! I came here with my friend and ordered the TURKEY PESTO & THE LEGEND sandwich with 1 order of fries and an UN-BEET-ABLE Juice!!! This is by far my favorite Sandwich shop in the IE & OC!!! Seriously save yourself the time, and come to this place!
