The Newport

My experience with Newport apartments has been great so far . Wendy and Maria and great , attentive , detail oriented . The maintenance gentleman are respectful, attentive , courteous. Noise level is grear , nice and clean landscape is beautiful i cant wait to see what the years have to come with renting here at the newport apartments.

I live there for about 3 years and during my time there I can say it was very enjoyable. They were very professional. They always got back to my calls as soon as they could which was usually about either the same day or early the next day. There was no lack of communication. The maintenance workers there were especially nice and would usually fix anything you requested in the same day rent was fairly reasonable and they were very understanding when you were late on rent. Usually if you communicate they would give you extra time to pay it. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to be near a lot of places to eat as well as a hospital for emergencies. My overall experience was very satisfying and in the future if I do need to get to an apartment again for any reason this will be the first place I look again.

This place is so peaceful and clean . The staff is nice .

I have a close friend who lives here and have heard overall great things! I would love to have a life at this complex everyone here is so friendly. I hope I can get a place here :)

Everyone around here is very friendly, and I enjoy living here. There are even fun community events that they have every so often.

Its awesome here. There's a lot of really cool people that live here. The Staff is nice and help with as much as they can.

Fine place

I just want to say thank you to Maria for being such an Awesome manager. I came to her about a horrible noise I was hearing in my bedroom and bathroom, she showed so much concern and made me feel heard. She had Danny from maintenance come hear the noise. He cared that the noise was driving me crazy. He fixed it so fast and I'm so thankful . He came by a few days later just to check on me to make sure I wasn't hearing the noise anymore. That meant a lot to me! I think The Newport has a great team to take care of this place .

Not bad place to live. They are nice and clean. The apartments have been upgraded. They look nice now. Just make sure you don’t get an apartment close to the freeway. The awful 91 fwy. It is so loud you cannot have your sliding door open coz is so loud. Good luck finding parking if you have more than one vehicle. There’s hardly any 600’s available. If you come home late might as well go park your car in the Target parking lot and walk home. It is a 6 month lease. You know how that goes. They start you off low and they increase your rent after the 6 month lease is up.

I like the quiet and family oriented environment. Everyone is friendly but mind their on business. The staff is friendly, sincere and take care of business when needed. The Only problem that I have is the parking. My parking spot is on the other side of the building whereas my neighbors is right in front where it should be.overall I like it here

First, the staff here are great, very personable and quick to respond to maintenance needs. However, too expensive to live here; well I guess that's CA in general.
There's no storage space. I'm in a one-bedroom. There's only the 2 closets, the one in the bedroom, and the one on the porch/balcony. I have to store my vacuum in the open, for there's nowhere else to put it! I do like the long sink in the bathroom.
As for the parking, they removed the first come, first serve; we now pay to rent one spot and the other comes with the rental, I believe. An alternative is to rent garage space, but it is kinda pricey.
Overall, I've been happy here, other than the space issue, oh and sometimes they're late on the weekends opening the laundry rooms. And if course they hit you with that $100 rent increase after the first 6 months, and again every year.

Will change my review at the end of the day. Depending on the feedback I get from the apartments.

my car got broke into, my stuff got stolen

Whatever you do not move here. The company and people who work in the office are slumlords. It's best to find an apartment that is not managed by Investment Concepts. I requested for some water dripping from the apartment above me to be inspected. It took 3 months for someone to fix it. The leasing office did nothing till I called the property manager. After they did a mold test I was told me move out right away and given another apartment. Now they gave me another place but I need some repairs done and the leasing office is no help. I put in a request online too. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

Don't move here and just look for another apartment complex.

I wish I could give them a complete zero because they don't take care of their residents as they say. Me and my wife currently live here and people's cars have been broken into. Also our license plate was stolen and we told them and they said there is nothing can do. They told us the property would be secured and none of the gates lock and alot of homeless people have been walking on the premises and they use our laundry rooms and they are going through the trash. Also people's packages have been stolen from people's apartments right from in front of their door. We told the leasing office and they said once again there is nothing they can do. So my best advice is not to move in here because it's not secure as they say.
