The Riverside Airport Cafe

Wow! What an amazing local gem! Our 1st time but Rosa, Jennifer and Owner Leimamo made us feel like we were life long customers! The food was beyond delicious. The cooks had our order prepared and delivered to our table before I could take a 2nd sip of their yummy Farmer Bros coffee! We will be back!

Pilots Beware! Weekends get super busy with the locals. 40 min. to an hour wait for food. DJ on site, party atmosphere, noisy.

This little airport has a big secret! A great place to eat! 😄
The cafe is bright and cheerful, windows looking out over the patio dining area to the aircraft and runway. It has a great atmosphere with a surprisingly varied menu and delicious tasting food.
The staff are very attentive and service is prompt.
It's a popular place but I was able to get one of several counter seats with no waiting.
If your in the area, it sure beats the fast food places a few blocks away and is great value for your money.

This is an awesome place to have breakfast. Watch the planes with an old School feel. Great food, very cool staff, always worth it.

I love this place.

The staff is so friendly, and the owner is right there working with the staff to take care of everyone!

They have a wonderful outdoor patio with views of the runways and busy taxi-ways, as well as indoor seating for those ridiculously hot days that riverside is known for!

But all that means nothing if the food isn’t good.

The food isn’t good. It’s great!

I’ve been eating here for several years, back through the transition from the previous owners to the current owner. I was excited when I heard that the current owner, who was a waitress for the previous owners, would be taking over, her transition was seamless, but now a couple years in, she has clearly made the restaurant her own, while retaining the charm that always existed. I’m usually here on weekends, where there is often a live band playing on the patio (though, playing the song “I could be alright if I could just crash here tonight” probably isn’t the best song to play when pilots are doing pre-flight a few feet away! lol!) it’s good for a quick bite between flights, or getting together with friends for a relaxed dining experience.

I’ve had food all across their menu, and really enjoyed it all. But I keep forgetting to take pics! Pictured is a bbq cheeseburger with bacon and onion ring on the burger. It’s an 8oz patty, which is a little much for me, but they were more than happy to cut it in half so my wife and I could split it. (We also split the fries).

I’m normally the type that loads my burger up with condiments after it arrives, but this was delicious just the way they made it!

The fries, though? They were great too! Crispy and fresh, a little skin on, which I always enjoy, and again, great as is, or of course dipped in ketchup (and of course, they have Heinz here).

If you’re flying in the area, stop on in! And if you’re not flying, but just live around here, stop in too! No pilot license required for food!

The only thing I wish, is for longer hours, I usually fly mid-afternoon and sometimes I’m hungry after 2pm, and maybe smaller bite options, for when I’m not able to share with my wife. But those are minor issues, did I mention I love this place?

Great find & service! My son and I went in Saturday May 4th about 7:30 a.m. great atmosphere easily seated and grabbed a booth because it's before they get busy. We are involved in a non-profit across the way at the airport and love this cafe They never disappoint The owner has done a wonderful job since she took it over I think I was there once before she took possession definitely was not near what it is today food and service an atmosphere-wise.
My son and I both had the p-52 at $10 it's a perfectly priced and perfectly sized breakfast and was at our table very quickly but was definitely fresh! Their iced tea is awesome My son had their cold brew and it was awesome as well.

Can't wait to go back here!! I'm at my daughter for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. It's a cute little diner very busy but still has awesome service. Beautiful scenery as you get to watch the planes take off. I can't wait to go back.

This place is as advertised. The food and atmosphere was great and the service provided by McKynlee was next level. She made us feel like regulars on our first visit and has a great sense of humor. Definitely happy I finally tried this place and I'll be back.

Super good! I forgot to take pics of the food, but it was delicious. Came on a Sunday for the mimosa brunch, and would definitely come back. The place was packed. Inside it’s not too large so there was a short wait, but we waited in the terminal with our drinks. There is a good sized outside patio, for when the weather is decent, that you can watch the planes come and go.

This was a lovely breakfast spot. Classic diner dishes with good flavor, cooked to order. The staff were all so friendly and worked as a well oiled machine, with multiple people checking in on us and taking care of us.They were great. We sat on their patio with was larger than I expected and it was fun to see the planes and watch several take off. My 4yo was given a little foam airplane upon arrival and that, along with the real planes, the live music duo and her pancakes made for a great experience for her also.

Great staff, delicious food, clean location. Prices worth how delicious the food was. Sister loved it so much yesterday that she brought back her boyfriend today.

First time here and boy have we been missing out a hidden jem great down home country breakfast. The service was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

I went with my mom, sister, and niece. The music was great!, and I got a free mimosa. The wait was a little long, but overall, the staff was good, and the food.

Love this Cafe, our go to Cafe when we are near Riverside. The staff are friendly and great at refilling our delicious coffee. The food has not disappointed us yet. We mainly go for their breakfast or brunch and everything was awesome.
The servers, hostess, and owner smiles as they greet you giving you a very friendly vibe of the restaurant.
Updating this review to include to go orders pickup, quick and delicious just like dining inside. The food was packaged with care and each item was in a separate to go containers, which I loved. Definitely give this place a try if your ever in their neighborhood. Awesome place!

This has been one of my favorite airport cafe visits. I have been checking out many in the area for a good breakfast. And this is one of the best. The service is fabulous

The RAC has live music and good food on the weekends. If you have small children, they will love the aircraft landing and taking off. Also, this place is a very popular spot for brunch on the weekends. Be ready to wait for 20-30 mins. Worth the wait!
