University Riverside Gardens Apartments

University Gardens is hands down the best property I've rented within the past 9 years or so. I'd attribute this to the stellar attitude and attention to detail that the staff posses! Common areas are cleaned often, maintenance tickets are answered and resolved quickly, the staff has residents' best interest in mind, and communication is crystal clear.

It's a good place, with privacy, if you're on the right side. Had more privacy after the 2nd year. However, I did get my bike stolen while stored away.

This place is amazing great customer service, also affordable for college students on a budget. 10/10

Great place close to everything if you are going to UCR. Also there is a new manager that actually cares about the students best interest and is willing to help them.

I moved in two years ago and I gotta say the new manager Amy is great, she is very understanding and helpful shout out to her!

I give this place a 5 star. This is a great place to live specially because is close to UCR! I love it.

My daughter stayed here while attending UCR. Her roommates, who were her friends from UCR, graduated and moved out, so the apt assigned her a new one. The new roommate had a dog and on the very first day she moved in, the dog bit my husband. The dog menaced my daughter while my daughter was home alone with him and the roommate was at work. My daughter was trapped in her room for several hours until the roommate returned.

We contacted mgmt right when everything happened, but mgmt did nothing. They offered my daughter to move even though she had lived there for 3 years. They should’ve offered another unit to the roommate, who had been there less than 5 days when this happened.

My daughter effectively couldn’t live there any more for last 10 months of her lease because of the dog, but of course the apt didn’t care as long as they collected their rent.

My daughter officially moved out about a month before the roommate. Her room was cleaned but the apt didn’t go and inspect it until the roommate moved out a month later and they kept most of my daughter’s deposit.

I seriously considered suing the apt for effectively evicting her—what else do you call it when you are unable to live at the place because the landlord won’t address an unsafe living condition?? Ultimately didn’t do it but thinking about this experience still makes me angry. Find another place to live.

The unprofessionalism of management who operate this establishment goes beyond the policy that they're supposed to live by. They pick and choose what to follow in the policy. They place people in a shared units who are not compatible to live together which creates a hostile living environment. Going to management for these type of issues is worthless and a waste of time because they refuse to give a solution or their only solution is termination of the lease. They refuse to help with making living environments better, but they don't hesitate on taking your money. This place is over priced.

Terrible office hours. Unreachable. I swear they leave you on voicemail. They towed my car when i forgot to put my signage up, but they registered my car plate for the parking spot. It should’ve been on their record of who was or were parking there legally in the first place. I see that they deleted all their old reviews. I had a door hinge problem and it took their maintenance guy to come after 1 week. They wouldn’t even replace our oven when it broke down “said we’ll send you an email” and never did. I wouldn’t recommend you stay this place . You were warned.

Very bad attention from the Reception. They arrive and treat you with hypocrisy and difference, Multiple problems in the home and they take time to resolve. And the prices are too high.
