Shamel Park

I came here for a public, family-friendly protest rally. The park was just right for this activity, attended by around 200+, many of which were families with kids. My friend who invited me to the event passed out free ice cream, and this added to the sense of festivity and patriotism among the diverse set of participants. The park proved to be more than adequate to host such an event. Ample parking, and easy freeway access. Looks like they have some decent tennis courts.

We had the pleasure of playing pickleball on one of the eight striped courts designated for the game. The courts are well-maintained and offer ample space for an exciting match. However, do note that you’ll need to bring your own net, as they are not provided.

Love watching Little League Baseball and playing with dogs! It's a great place to get away and enjoy the beautiful park.

I started their swimming aerobics and it was great!

I take water aerobics here 3 times a week. The area is ways nice and clean. No people hanging out unnecessarily and I feel comfortable waiting for my Uber alone after everyone else has left

Plenty of benches, green grass, enough parking, and an open tennis court + baseball field. 👍🏽

Fun lil park, well taken care of, playground, tennis courts, lil league baseball, swimming pool and lessons available. I enjoy watching the squirrels horse play and run a muck at lunch time, theyre nuts. Kids play baseball during lil league season , young and mature enjoy pool time early morning to late afternoon with lessons or fitness activities. Sidewalks are even so kids can zoom around on scooters and skates not like hitting speed bumps on uneven pavement. Take a walk, enjoy your lunch under gazebo or swing on playground nice lil spot to refresh, refocus and ground yourself.

SHAMEL PARK has 2 Baseball Field and Tennis courts and Swimming pool depending on Schedule. Restroom available Bar B Que don't forget bring charcoal bag

I have been coming to this park for decades. They keep it real clean. The homeless people here speak mainly to themselves and wont bother you too much. They are great builders and if you visit you will see some amazing structures they've built from garbage! Very crafty. On one occasion, while watching my son play baseball, I was able to witness 2 tweekers go into the restroom together with a back pack and come out 15 minutes later. They were high as our taxes! Good times :)

My child has been taking swim lessons here for the past 8 summers. I am pleased with the quality of instruction they provide at this Riverside city pool. Highly recommend it for all swim levels.

great tennis courts total of 2 with lights to play at night, 2 softball/ baseball fields, swimming pool with classes, 2 playgrounds and a large picnic patio area holding over 20 picnic tables. Very clean park overall and we'll kept.

My daughter really enjoyed the swim classes that were offered in 2019. The park in general is well kept. We enjoy coming here. My daughter really loves the squirrels 😍🐿

The wide open spaces are well maintained. Wide sidewalks that allow you to circumvent the park.

Well it's fun for the family, a true blessing, don't mind the homeless they are just there minding there own business, I had no worries.

Learned to Play Tennis there (kind of), Birthday Parties, and Hanging with Friends. It is 1 of My Fave Riverside Parks, but I'm partial.
NEVER a Problem There for Me.

I take my kids swimming there twice a week. We love it and the life guards are all very friendly and helpful.

Quiet, not usually too busy. Has large picnic table area , baseball diamonds, volleyball, tennis courts and public swimming pool.
