Tillman Riverside Mortuary provided our family with phenomenal service after the passing of my mother. They were professional courteous and caring. With each process they catered to our needs never forcing anything on us. The staff were patient, understanding and sensitive as they ushered us through the process. Every aspect of our journey was supervised by an extremely gifted counselor, Mrs. S. Wells. The individuals who shared the work load, Mrs. A. Johnson, Reverend Ben and others were gifted in serving as well. I give them 5 stars plus and I recommend their company to anyone seeking funeral services for their family.

Ms Shadelle was a professional, punctual and a helpful representative of Tillman Mortuary. Her manner was kind, gentle and respectful to me. Answering questions punctually was consistent throughout the most difficult time in my life. She was able to give light humor as well as respectful responses to tears and family difficulties.

I truly appreciated the staff that assisted me after my mother’s memorial on February 23. Ms Shadelle had an emergency and could not meet with me as planned. However, the Tillman Staff honored the appointment not on their schedule!

Tillman Riverside Mortuary is an excellent choice for your loved one. They are cost effective, very helpful, and sympathetic. I was beyond impressed with there service. And they went above and beyond to give me information, support, and there condolences. I plan to arrange my own funeral with them whenever I have the funds available that is how impressed I was that I want to be sure I am able to be in there care. If and when that day comes. I want to Thank The staff at Tillman Riverside Mortuary for their professionalism. I put my trust in them for preparing my beloved husband body for his final viewing. I am well pleased. I did not have a lot of stress going through the process. Lady Attendant Shadelle did the job she was hired to do. To be honest, I felt as she was my friend helping me during this difficult time. There were times when I had a task that I may have forgotten to do and I would call her and she was already on top of it. Even at the Church service and Burial grounds all was taken care of, the entire Staff took the extra mile to make sure everything was in order. My husband was laid to rest as the Man of honor that he deserved.

Hello, First off I would like to say Tillman Riverside Mortuary has A+, five star service. I recently lost a loved one and I was referred to Tillman Riverside Mortuary to assist with the memorial preparations. When I tell you I loved and appreciated everything they did and had to offer us. The staff was amazing, their teamwork was outstanding and they were very professional, yet very empathetic. Mrs. Shadelle is an angel in disguise, she was extremely helpful, patient and compassionate of our loved one and family. Tillman Riverside Mortuary treated as if we were family and went above and beyond to see to it that we had a beautiful memorial ( which it was absolutely beautiful). They are all you need they offer everything from memorial services, obituaries, the most beautiful urns and casket selections. They offer veteran services, pre plans, traditional and no traditional funeral services, grief counseling, notary Public, in home arrangement counseling and many other services. My father passed away in October 2023. As I walked into the funeral home not knowing what to expect I was received with such care and compassion by Loreine Alamilo. Loreine took care of me through the funeral process all the way up to me picking up the death certificate. When I came for the wake, I saw a beautiful blanket as a gift from the funeral home. I will cherish that forever. Also, at the funeral service there were three employees there handling the casket and they were all very professional and focused on everything taking place without a hitch. There was a woman there gathering the cards from the flowers and she handed those to me with the sign in book and blanket at the gravesite. The same lady held my hand as I walked behind the casket as they put it in the van to be taken to my father's final resting place. Loreine requested some photos of my father to add to your website and people were able to leave kind words for the family. There will also be a tree planted in my father's name as another gift from Tillman's. I would use this funeral home time and time again and I'd refer you all too. My Mother passed away recently and friends recommended Tillman Mortuary. Ms. Loreine was the consultant who assisted me and she was very warm and welcoming. Ms. Loreine is the ultimate professional, gently advising me of the options available for my Mother's celebration of life. Ms. Loreine answered all questions I had regarding the process and she made suggestions to ensure that my Mother's celebration was successful. Also, when I compared Tillman's prices to other mortuarys, Tillman offered the best price by far. When I first saw my Mother during the viewing, I could not believe how beautiful she looked, at least 20 years younger. Thank you Ms. Loreine and Tillman staff, you are by far the best.

The Tillman service is excellent. Ms Lorraine made my mother and I feel so comfortable and warm for my father’s funeral plans. First let me start off by saying the Tillman Mortuary went above and beyond to help my siblings and I. Ms.Shadelle was our counselor and she was very helpful and very knowledgeable, she helped us every step of the way. She was so kinda and courteous to us and made planning our mother’s funeral a easy process. She treated us like family she laughed with us during this difficult time and treated us like her own and we are forever grateful for her! I would like to say we meet a lifetime friend. Our family, like many others, fell victim to gun violence. My daughter and I called several locations for mortuary services. When we called Tillman Mortuary, we spoke with Mrs Shadelle Wells. Her professionalism and care was felt through our phone conversation which made us chose Tillman. We came in the next day to complete arrangements. She was even more caring in person. The staff upon entering the mortuary was equally helpful and kind. Mrs Wells made sure our loved one was taking care of like it was her family from our first meeting through internment. I will happily refer your service to anyone in need.

This was my first time making funeral arrangements, and I would not have been able to get through it without the support and assistance of our assigned counselor Mrs. Loreine Alamillo and Ms. Ashlynn.
Mrs. Loreine went over and beyond her duties to accomodate my family. We were tasked with getting our loved one from CA to MO, and with her assistance and guidance we were able to meet all of our deadlines. I was blessed to meet and talk with the founder, Mr. Tillman, where he shared the rich history of this family business.
