Wild Runners

I am not a runner, but I do love a nice long walk. I’d worn out a pair of Sauconys I had gotten from a competitor about 8 months ago, so I decided to give this place a try to support local business. It was a terrific experience! The staff member was kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. Right away, she noticed the shoes I bought at the competitors store were too small, and gave me half size bigger. She listened to my concerns about the current shoe I had and what I was looking for. At no time did she make me feel like I shouldn’t be there because I’m not a runner, which has happened and other places. I will absolutely be back when I walk too many miles in these shoes.

Just came in today and received exceptional service! Shoes were very affordable and reasonable. Great selection, was able to pick based on a scan of my feet. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Great selection of quality shoes for running, hiking, and more. I love my Topos, 361s, and Tevas, and when I want to try something new, I can always count on Gian to explain the characteristics of each shoe and how it may or may not fit my needs. Lots of stylish, colorful, and functional clothing as well. And a great place to get involved in the local running community—such a fun, welcoming, and encouraging group of runners and walkers always meeting up here!

Gian at Wild Runners is a super friendly and nice guy! He truly has a passion for running and community. He organizes two community runs twice a week for all
Levels and if you ask him to be your running buddy he is always up for it! He also carries some of the more boutique/specialty shoe brands that aren’t the big names. He has opened my eyes to new brands that are out there!

What a great spot in Old Fair Oaks! They helped me pick out new cross trainers. The selection was great, super fair prices, and the foot scanning machine was very fun.

My favorite place to buy running gear! And the Thursday evening run group is so welcoming and inclusive. A great addition to Old Fair Oaks! Definitely stop by if you get a chance. :)

This was the best running shoe purchasing experience I've had. Gian analyzed my running gait on the treadmill and explained at least 6 different shoe models to me, discussing the pros and cons and different characteristics of each taking into account my feet and injury history. I wish I had gone to this store in the past. Gian has so much experience and really knows his stuff. They carry a lot of brands that you won't find in bigger sporting goods stores. The only small issue was that they had a limited apparel selection, but I think that's a temporary inventory hiccup.

Go here! Check out this is local running shop in Fair Oaks Village. Thoughtful selection of running shoes, apparel, gear. Close to bike path if you need a Gu or anti-chafing stick. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, professional running background, studies the body, and researches his stock. He has a treadmill in there (I did not use it) but I assume that’s an option for trying on shoes. He has some fun shorts and socks in stock... I think they would make for a great holiday gifts. My mom took me in and I found some cute Ronhill (UK brand) running clothes. Nice shopping experience.

I am back in town visiting family and was thrilled to see a new local running shop in OFO. I needed a new pair of shoelaces and the owner was generous enough to just give me a free pair. I look forward to coming back in when I am in need of a new pair of shoes. Amazing selection of running shoes.
