The food was luscious. Incredible food, with the largest lobster that I've ever seen. I truly believe that Godzilla had babies. Almost freakish looking.
Michael was our server, he was fantastic.
Charlie Chaplin met me at the door... I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. The best restaurant to bring in the New year.

I’d like to say thank you to our waiter that had excellent service. His name is Chris and he helped us make up our minds on what to order and we ordered the lobster potstickers which were absolutely amazing and the prime rib meals. My wife and I met Steve the owner and he told us that if we wanted to we could request Chris to be our waiter again next time we come back which I think was pretty cool. This place is awesome. Yeah the atmosphere is great and the place is definitely busy! The best prime rib my wife and I have ever had! Thank you Chris and Steve!

Came here for my birthday. Everything was perfect, everyone was nice, everyone made me feel special! The acknowledgement I received was personable.

Food was perfect! We had the clam chowder, and the prime rib that came with asparagus and potatoes. Their Lemon Drop cocktail was delicious as well.

This is definitely a "hideaway" spot! The outside looked bare but when you go inside it's like a new world!

Excellent service and best lobsta roll ever! Most importantly zero cartilage and zero shells! Go to cousins if you want shell. The escargot amazing! The only complaint the fries just slightly greasier than I like.

Rudy's never disappoints. Food is always great. Service is awesome. I called last Saturday (last minute for a party) left a message to make a reservation. They called me back within 20 minutes and took my reservation. My waiter was Sergio and was awesome. Thanks again Rudy's!!!

Came in tonight and had Chris as our server. He was amazing! We were greeted promptly and he made sure to keep our waters full and check in on us often! The calamari was delicious and a generous portion. Had the Thursday lobster special and it did not disappoint. I am so grateful for the top knotch service as well as food! Thank you Rudy’s and Chris for the happiness and full bellies

I love this restaurant. It's a staple in the Fair Oaks area. What I love is: staff. OMG, so very kind, fun, funny. They remember you. Your favorite table, wait staff, drink, etc.

The food - consistently great! How does the lobster always taste freshly caught 🤔 😋.

The environment- It's just cozy. After a long day, it's fun to sit and chill at the bar with good conversations while eating. Or, have a table and chill with a little less stimulation.

And, the best chocolate mousse made in house. So yummy!!

Just go.

Awesome place. Great food, had prime rib, huge portion giant baked potato, both excellently prepared! The decor is very clean throwback to the 60/70's era . Very cool. TV

Great server: Jim S., and everyone from hostess, seater, bartenders and bussers everyone was friendly, professional and attentive; especially Jim he timed the arrival of our food just right it came out hot and we didn’t feel “rushed” between courses.

I believe one of owners (tall, older gentleman with sling) seated us, very sweet and accommodating.

Ambiance very nice, great lighting not to bright or dark and artwork beautiful and fun without being pretentious, casual dress or work casual fits in perfectly.

Food Amazing!!! value to portion sizes Excellent!!! All that we were served and our neighbors looked just like pictures.
Red Lobster is school cafeteria compared to here.

Just wish there was more than 5 pieces of LOBSTER POT STICKERS to an order because it was that good and in combination with dipping sauce perfect. 🤤.
I need 10 to an order but could I’d eaten 20. 🤣

Fried Calamari strips: very generous portion (thick) but tender, hot & juicy NOT rubbery and cocktail sauce had just the right amount of spice. 😋

Lobster Ravioli: FILLED with lobster & claw meat and served with rich cream sauce topped with Shrimp & Parmesan cheese 👌🏼 Pasta was not chewy.

King Crab Legs: meaty, sweet, hot, tender, juicy, fresh salt ocean taste and needed NO butter.🤙🏼

Boston Clam Chowder: thick, rich, hot and the pepper Bacon brought it up a notch, so good. 😃

Food was NOT over or under seasoned, oily or salty. Drinks are Not watered down.

We will definitely be back and hopefully Jim S will be there. 🥰

Rudy's has been an important part of Sacramento for decades. I would say that you haven't really experienced Sacramento without going to Rudy's at least once. The atmosphere is warm with beautiful and unique artwork. The service is great. But most importantly the food is amazing. If you are looking for a top notch meal to entertain clients, or an important celebration, this is the place.

The Happy Hour Prime Rib Tacos were excellent. Can't wait to try the Clam Chowder.
My daughter and I had the September lobster special and it was a good amount of lobster and tasty. The bartender and our server were first class. Will definitely go back soon.

I have been coming here for years. I love the fact that you can pick your lobster. I'm a huge fan of lobster and filet. Their filet is always cooked to perfection as is the lobster. They are known for their prime rib and lobster. I prefer filet but the prime rib is amazing.
I always order the escargot appetizer. Yum. They come in a small size heavy muffin type pan. They place the escargot in a mushroom cap and season it to perfection. I love these. I had the lobster potstickers as well the last time I was here and they were really good. The calamari is excellent as well.
Last year on my birthday I ordered the 14-16 oz. tail. Yep, tail. Big one. Wow. Impressive. It will cost you but you deserve it.
Oh, don't leave without getting the chocolate mousse. Heaven. Enjoy. Bon Appétit.

My BFF brought me here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing!!! I got prime rib and lobster and my friend got Crab legs and prime rib!!! Everything was perfect as ordered including our calamari...our waiter was Chris and he was so on top of everything..THANK YOU CHRIS!!!! We had a wonderful meal and drinks and we will DEFINITELY return!!! Wonderful atmosphere, felt like being on a ship!!! Very impressed!!!!

Great food my favorite is the lobster ravioli one of my favorite places to eat.

Calamari or lobster pot stickers are great appetizers.

The food is awesome.The staff is excellent. Except the girl who sat us down. She was clearly irritated by us. She was pretty rude. My husband and I have been coming here for 35 years, and have never been disappointed.
The staff and food was amazing as always.

I visited Rudy’s twice while I was in town for work. I’ve had a lot of clam chowder and this one was the best! The seafood Louis salad did not disappoint. It was loaded with shrimp, crab and lobster. If I ever make it back to Sacramento, I will definitely return to Rudy’s!

Fantastic little spot and of course you have to get lobster. I really loved the lobster potstickers and mushroom cap escargot as starters. Lobster and steak were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend that chocolate mousse. Definitely share it as its very rich! Nancy and their team of wait staff were absolutely awesome.

The clam chowder was delicious, fresh and thick with bacon bits. The lobster roll had the softest bread, fun little pickle, with butter on the side.

The fries were perfect, the cocktails were on point, strong and tasty.

The lobster ravioli was definitely good, but it could’ve done with less sauce, maybe ?
Maybe that’s what made it so good?
Maybe I had one too many drinks? LOL regardless we had a wonderful experience.
