Scott's Seafood Roundhouse

Best to have reservations and this Saturday night was very full and busy. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation so had to wait in the well appointed lobby a bit but there are restrooms right there which was very convenient. The hostesses seemed a little bothered that we disturbed them. We were seated in a nice spot overlooking the ice skating rink but the tables are small and too close together. It just felt cramped and crowded with plates and menus and wine lists and more plates and not much room for our server to get in and out of the area. After the delicious and well prepared appetizers Oysters and Calamari I had the Sole and Hong had the Cioppino, both were very good and handsome portions went home with us. Our server was outstanding and very attentive. I had to knock off 1 star for service due to the hostesses somewhat surly unprofessional vibe and 1 star off atmosphere just because the overall volume was too loud for my taste and it felt overcrowded, more like a sports bar than a high end dinner. I think if I go again it will be on a less busy night as it did take almost an hour for our main entree's to arrive. But hey, it was Saturday night, so all in all I click on 5 stars.

Love this place it’s my go to for a special occasion. You can’t go wrong with any of the food choices. I ordered their strawberry salad and it was great. Their petrale sole is delicious. Their cocktails are great. Love their pear mule.

Love Scotts. Great lemon drop martinis. Love the pacific rim salad. Fish is great. Nice bar a lot of locals go to for dinner and a drink. They no longer have happy hour, tho. Fun to go at Christmas and sit with view of ice rink then walk around historic folsom afterward.

Five stars all around for our first experience. Everything was great! We got the grilled oysters for an appetizer and I loved them. I asked our server which soup she liked more, and she actually recommended mixing them (crab bisque and clam chowder) which I never would have thought of, so I said “let’s do it!”. It was delicious! Highly recommend. I also got the poke nachos and they were amazing, the ahi was so fresh and there was a lot of it. Our server, Jinnelle, was wonderful and so fun, and she was very helpful with all of our questions and indecisiveness. Great place for a date night, we will definitely be back!

We love Scott's Seafood. Our go-to parent date restaurant. Everything is just coming together: food, service, atmosphere...
Fair warning: Once you have the fried Calamari appetizer here, you will not be able to enjoy it anywhere else. Yes, it's THAT good!

My wife & I have been here for lunch a couple of times. The food was great, as was the service. Generally, we've had good experiences at Scott's Seafood Restaurants in the Sacramento area & Bay Area.

This is a fine dining place. The food is great & definitely mouth watering😊
I love the jumbo prawn skewers,I forgot the ingredients but it is so good!! I also love the spicy crab soup, calamari. Gosh! I wanna go back there on Valentine's day🥰🥰 Make sure to have your reservation.

I have no complaints about this place, other than it can get surprisingly noisy depending on where you sit.

Everything was delicious, but I wasn’t mostly surprised by the crab bisque. It was very good & had a perfect amount of spiciness. The burger was great & steak seasoned perfectly.

The food may seem expensive, but your paying for an experience & great staff. I plan to be back.

Had an absolutely amazing time here! We came out for my birthday dinner, and were not disappointed. The clam chowder and crab bisque to start were delicious. The crab bisque was hearty and a little spicy in a tomato based sauce. For our entrees, my husband got the macadamia nut crusted halibut which was really good. Hands down though, my favorite item was the king salmon entree. It came with this incredible squash purée and mango on top…. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. 100/10 recommend it lol.

The drinks were also delicious and strong. They have this elderberry mixed drink that was light, sweet and refreshing.

Overall, we were very impressed with the service, food, drinks and over ambiance of Scott’s. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely delicious. Perfect for a anniversary dinner. That's what we did, husband surprised me with reservations here and the atmosphere was perfect, service was friendly and fast and attentive. And most importantly food was delicious.

This place is elegant and delicious. The Cioppino was top notch. It rates up there with the best I have ever had. The fresh bakes sour dough bread was great. My wife had a poor boy shrimp sandwich and house made potatoe chips.

This place is a must do. While you are here walk around historic downtown Folsom. Founded during the gold rush there is much to see and do here

Had a nice dinner at Scotts in Folsom. Cocktails tasted great and oysters were fresh and excellent. Food was prepared well and full of flavor. Will definitely be back!

2022 after a fun day in the foothills we stopped in for an early dinner and birthday celebration. We were a bit early for our 4pm reservation so we went to the bar. I highly recommend the pomegranate lemon drop! The dinner menu was updated with new and exciting options. We ordered the calamari and the octopus starters. The octopus was new. It was tender and tasty. We had the summer peach salad which was light and refreshing. The dressing was tangy and the peaches were sweet. For dinner I had the Dayboat Scallop dish. Perfectly cooked scallops with a corn risotto. It was delightful! My husband had the grilled shrimp which he shared generously. We all agreed the shrimp was our favorite bite of the evening. Somehow we made room for carrot cake and Creme Brule. I'm not a huge fan of carrot cake, but this was good enough to convert me. Finally a shout out to our server Janelle who took exceptional care of us.

2021 Our first dinner at the new location. It was delicious. I had the jumbo prawns my husband had the cioppino. The prawns were perfectly cooked. Service was quick. Sat on the patio under the misters and it was very comfortable.

Truly everything was delicious. The steak was perfect, bursting with flavor and juicy. The charcuterie board was elegant and amazing. The cioppino was so flavorful and came with a generous portion of clams, mussels, and dungeness crab. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. One of the top restaurants Ive been to in the Sacramento area.

We had a wonderful time at Scott's Seafood Roundhouse in Folsom, CA! Kristina, our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive and overall fantastic!

We had not been to this location yet and choose it based on visits at other (and previous) locations and the desire to choose a nice place for a family celebration.

The dining room was open yet intimate. They have a nice wine/beer list as well as several cocktails on the menu. We settled on some wine, a classic gin martini and a Fresh Mint Margarita Martini. All were fantastic and I would definitely recommend the Fresh Mint Margarita Martini!

We sampled several appetizers including raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, capresse salad and clam chowder. The raw oysters were great with the kumomoto oysters being our favorite! The clam chowder was potato-forward but nice overall.

Our main courses were also all good! We had an array of dishes including a crab louis salad, macadamia nut Alaskan halibut, a salmon special, seafood papardelle, and a Nashville hot fish sandwich. All of these dishes were good in their own right.

The restaurant is nice and modern and a good place for a quick bite or a celebratory meal. They do have an event room and some private spaces that can be used for corporate events or a small party. we will definitely be back again!

Service was a little lacking today, but to their defense outdoor seating was taken away from them last minute and staff was running around going crazy trying to relocate outdoor seating to accommodate everyone. Definitely make reservations though. This place isn't packed for no reason. It's amazing! Seafood, beer, bar drinks...absolutely great!

I've been here a few times but this last time was fantastic. I was here Nov. 2023. I had the Frutti De Mare. It was Devine! Scallops were seared to perfection. It was so delicious! Our server Aaron was fantastic. Recommended a wonderful wine. He was very attentive.

Two hours from the ocean Scott's has very consistent superb seafood.

We've eaten twice, everyone enjoyed their meals quite a lot. All of the meals were perfectly prepared. A detail overlooked by most restaurants is a dinner salad, not the case here. A perfectly dressed salad. All greens were coated with light vinaigrette with no dressing puddled on the plate when finished.
