Applebee's Grill + Bar

Stopped by Applebees in Riverside in the downtown area for lunch. I started with a Passion Fruit Mai Tai, which uniquely came with refills in a shaker - quite a treat with several refills. For my meal, I inquired about the server's preference between the Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders and the Whiskey Bacon Burger. Following her recommendation, I chose the Mac & Cheese option. It was decent, indeed sweet as she mentioned, which suited my taste. I value getting insights from servers as they have a pulse on customer feedback. The service was attentive, and paying through the kiosk on the table made for an easy checkout.

I had a Doordash order that was I was deeply disappointed with a few weeks ago so I brought it back to the restaurant. The manager made it right and the re-make was perfect - the food came out amazing. Salmon, fries and broccoli were all cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I will absolutely return for another visit - excellent service!

Had a wonderful fast dinner with my mom, aunt and my son who was celebrating receiving the State of California Exceptional Graduate Award and Scholarship which he was presented in Riverside at the convention center. Apple Bees staff was quick to seat us and took mine and my sons order right away as we had to leave in a short hurry. food was fast,Hot and PERFECT to order! Server understood the assignment. Haha. Tonight My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Applebee’s in Riverside City, and I am compelled to share our exceptional experience, primarily due to our waiter, Shea. From the moment we were seated, Shea’s warm greeting made us feel welcomed and valued. His professionalism and knowledge about the menu were evident as he expertly guided us through the selections, making recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes.

Throughout our meal, Shea’s service was impeccable. He maintained the perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always refreshed, and our table was clear of any unnecessary clutter. His timing in serving each course was flawless, allowing us to fully enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace.

What stood out the most was Shea’s genuine kindness and enthusiasm. His positive attitude and dedication to providing excellent service significantly enhanced our dining experience, making our evening at Applebee’s truly memorable.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere inviting, but it was Shea’s outstanding service that will bring us back to Applebee’s Riverside. It’s not often you come across someone who not only excels in their role but also clearly enjoys what they do. Shea is a remarkable asset to the Applebee’s team, and we look forward to our next visit. Kudos to Shea and the entire staff for making our family dinner such a delightful experience!

The whole staff has always been friendly and helpful; from lunch orders and to-go drinks, or even dinner at the bar, these people are always welcoming. Anastasia and Johnny at the bar are especially great and fun to be around. They all work well together, and it's nice to see! 😊

This is our go to applebees. The service is almost always Fantastic and the bar tenders are great. I can always count on my visit being enjoyable here.

Love the food special they have going on a daily basis! Plus a huge parking lot and away from main strip but close enough. Great quick service too. Delish!

The staff here is very friendly and always very helpful and the food is very good no matter what you order I always enjoy eating here, it is always a good time, the service was a little slow today but it was well worth the wait our waiter JARED was very helpful very friendly and did his best to meet all of our needs the fish and chips was fantastic my wife had the appetizer combo plate, the double battered shrimp was very tasty, and the ribs are always very good,Spend local,Eat local, Shop local.

This place is always good and friendly staff. I have never had any bad experiences. Always my go to for good food, the best artichoke dip, and I don't mind the drinks at all. Always yummy 😋

They have very friendly waiters. I enjoyed my steak. The meal was tasty and restaurant was neat. I also enjoyed my drinks. The washroom was also very neat. Generally, I think their meals are affordable.

So we visited today and just wanted to say what a positive experience, destiny and Linda, our waiter were outstanding, highly recommend.

We went there for my bday and the people were very nice the place was packed we got two steak dinners to go and the price was really good and the dinners were excellent. I will definitely go again

Sat at the bar for drinks and food. Had such a great time with everyone there. Service is fast and friendly. The drinks and food were great. Definitely going back again soon.

Hadn't been to Applebee's in years and stopped by only because it was open late. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised with everything about this place! The young lady serving us was super nice, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was delicious! My lady friend had a cocktail and they gave us the happy hour price on it! The bill for the two of us was only around $40 total, can't beat that with a stick! They actually allowed us to stay at least a half hour after they were closed allowing us to chit chat while they were cleaning up! Will definitely return! Did I say the waitress was awesome? 😄👍🏼

It was a super nice visit. Our waitress was perfect. The service was amazing and I'm definitely happy to say my meal was exceptional! I've always like Applebee's but this visit was outstanding. Hope you who are reading have the same experience.

It was very peaceful. My server was awesome. he kept the area cleaned and I actually came & Enjoyed happy hour. I enjoyed myself.

My BF and I went here for Monday night football last night...got there for kick off...not very many people there yet, so we got GREAT seats at the bar! Half price appetizers, 5 dollar cocktails (Brewtus Adios was BOMB and strong), and our bartender, Casey, was THE BEST!! She was outgoing, helpful, diligent and knows her CRAFT!!
Unfortunately, the manager only ordered ONE bottle of a liquor that is a KEY ingredient in SEVERAL of the happy hour drinks that are heavily advertised on the bar 'stand-ups'!! Not a good move on HIS part! Seems to me he has no idea of what their own menu consists of!!!

Street steak was cooked to my liking medium rare nice and juicy, wife had a huge salad bowl very delicious. Kids meals was microwave pizza but they enjoyed it plus had some of ours like always. Nice and clean
