Parks and Recreation Dept - City of Riverside

This is the absolute WORST city parks and rec department. The webiste is a mess, teenagers are running admin and they are completely incompetent and unhelpful and RUDE. I have issues with every single program we try to sign up for. Moving out of Riverside soon and Thank Goodness because this place is a joke.

I took my two young girls to snow day at Arlington Park. They played games for an hour to earn raffle tickets. The raffle was scheduled at 1pm. We headed over to turn in the tickets at 12:55 and they were already walking them over to the stage. My 4 and 10 year old daughters asked the employee with the raffle tickets if they could turn theirs in and he said no it's too late! He was a young guy with blonde hair and blue headphones. We spent over $40 for two hours and could not even enter the raffle that hadn't even started yet. I will avoid any events in the future that are put on by Riverside Parks and Rec until they can employ some decent people. My 4 year old was crying the whole way home and said that this was the worst day ever. Great job Riverside!
