Black Angus Steakhouse

Man, the steak is REALLY good. Why have I been sleeping on this place!? The sirloin and the New York Strip are tender, and the fat is perfectly charred. Best sirloin I've ever had! I enjoyed the molasses bread and butter. The green beans and steak toppers (garlic butter, onions, and mushrooms) are perfection. The mac & cheese is good, but it definitely lacked seasoning and should have been a bigger portion. The cocktails are also really good. The Strawberry Lemon Drop honestly didn't taste like it had any alcohol. That and the Pomegranate Martini are delicious. I sent the Montana Mai Tai back because it was way too strong, but once they remade it, it tasted great. Overall, I really liked the place. The service is good and the atmosphere/mood is nice. I've been here twice within one week, and I will definitely be coming back next week.

My Nephew was Blessed with a Bride and after the ceremony he made reservations. Daniel our Server was Amazing everyone were served drinks and their appetizers fresh and hot, our main courses cooked to perfection, and dessert to take home.. One the Great Experiences is there is Only ONE Black Angus in Sacramento area and treat to drive out for an Extraordinary dining experience.

Food was great, service was good too. Friendly staff and great menu selections. This place is in need of updates. The restroom was so old, broken tiles, sink wasn't in good shape, cracks in fixtures and nothing matched. The couch in front had patches from material deterioration. If you have a somewhat nice place, have nice restrooms and seating.

Today my family and I all had the fall trios. Came with a sirloin steak, lobster tails, shrimps and 2 sides. My choice of side was the greens beans & Au Gratin potatoes.

My steak was cooked to perfection and so was the seafood. Everything was so flavorful even the sauces. The sides were fresh and everything was steaming hott like when its just made.

We also had the spinach and chip dip sooo yummy.

Its always a great experience when the server is great too, she was very attentive & friendly. And I loved how much she smiled.
I forgot her name but she worked today & we were there at 6pm.

Food was absolutely amazing. Our server was super nice and was a complete gentleman. The atmosphere was really relaxing and all around good vibes there.

Went for lunch with Carmichael Senior Club. We had a group of 30 people. The restaurant provided excellent service to us. Water and bread came quickly. We had time to socialize a bit before putting in our orders. Everyone was satisfied with their orders. One of the servers came by at the end thanking us for coming in. A great dining experience!

I love going to Black Angus for a lovely intimate meal. The staff is always so nice and friendly serving up great smiles...

I'd never been to Black Angus. My son and I wanted to go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, but we hardly had any money. He canceled the reservations at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse because they are really expensive, and we went to Black Angus. Their service was good (not excellent), the food for Thanksgiving was delicious, and the cost was so much less than Ruth's. I highly recommend Black Angus. Good stuff!

I have been attending this establishment since the 80’s when Black Angus used to have a dance floor... and til this day it never disappoints. This particular time my husband and I were celebrating our four year wedding anniversary. Our waiter Sean was on top of it... quick with the order, joyfully engaged in conversation, refilled drinks... always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the Campfire Feast (had a coupon) and every item was to our liking, cooked perfectly precisely the way we ordered it and served in a timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious (wagon wheel sampler, salad, rib eyes with sides and chocolate cake) and also good portion sized. We truly had a wonderful dining experience. My husband and I left very full and happy. We will definitely return and always recommend this Citrus Heights Black Angus location to our friends and family.

I LOVE coming here! The restaurant is super clean, the staff is amazing and I LOVE their prime rib, wedge salad, Mac n cheese, and Virgin Pina Coladas!!! I came for the birthday special, free steak dinner with purchase of one entree. Sign up for the prime club, it's amazing to be treated on your birthday!

Wow. What happened? The 5 of us went out tonight, had a reservation even. It was awful. Just terrible.
I got the steak, lobster and shrimp trio with wedge salad and Mac n cheese. Lobster was tired and chewy. Steak was so so and very chewy. The shrimp was absolutely disturbing! I left it on my plate. The wedge salad and Mac n cheese were good.
#2 had filet mignon steak sandwich with fries. What can I say? It was a loaf of bread with a strip of steak.
#3 had a burger and fries. It was fine.
#4 had potato skins and Mac n cheese. It was fine.
#5 had avocado chicken sandwich, it was reported a 2 out of 5.
I am so disappointed. I will never be back. The waiter was great, everything was great except for the food. The quality has gone so far down. I can't believe it!

Wow! Black Angus is back! Everytinng was exceptional. Wish, I remembered our waitresses name. She was perfect! Attentive but not intrusive. Food was as good as ever, All of it. Apetizers, entres, sides. Wonderful! Spendy but worth it.

Great food, service and atmosphere. We had originally tried to go to Texas Roadhouse on Fri, that was a no go after waiting an hour. Black Angus was able to accommodate our part of 10 very comfortably.

I ordered through door dash. The food was absolutely amazing but the portion size of the mashed potatoes could have been larger especially since I paid over $50 dollars for it. That’s my only negative, otherwise the wood fired filet mignon was perfect and everything else tasted amazing!

Great service at all levels! Delicious food and good size servings. You get 'Rare' when you ask for 'Rare' - Prime Rib is not easy to find in Sacramento, and especially one that isn't well done.

Really good ribs! They fall off the bone. The manager and staff are all very nice. Our table was bussed before we were done but was completely my fault since I had to go to the restroom and their staff was just being efficient bussing tables as soon as they noticed they were dirty. The manager still apologized like it was their fault and gave us a discount on our check. Will definitely be back. Very gracious staff and management and great food

First time here with family 10/27/2023. Had a awesome experience with the family. Had the 24oz prime rib, soooo good! They know how to cook red meat! Some places get it undercooked but not here, cooked all the way! Unfortunately the waitress April was very slow...and gave me a vibe like she was tweaking...

This was a birthday dinner for one of our friends there. We all had very good food! A few of us took some home!! The waitress was very nice and saw to it that we had everything that we needed. She filled my water glass twice! Nobody else needed more. She checked to see if we wanted more wine - we didn't, but she wanted to be sure!

We went out for family brunch. We had great food and awesome service!!! We will definitely be back.

On 2/15/2023, was my 1st time that i came inside there, to Black Angus on Sunrise & Greenback Ln. In. Citrus Height's to eat, it was around 6:40 p.m on a wends, i was grateful and relieved that this restaurant wasn't too extremely busy as all the other steak house restaurant's,we called, in the area,were still at a 30-45 min wait for a table! So this was perfect! For starters The bread was delish & the lime-berry-mint Mojito drink,side salad was refreshing & the 6oz steak/Food was good. But the "Loaded potato skin's" could of been better, they were slightly dry and over done, but edible with toppings, and our server was real sweet! Definitely Will go back! Thx

I love coming here with my sister. We got the Wagon Wheel for 2 people. It's a great deal for$68. The food was very good and there is a lot to choose from. We usually try to come at least once a month, but I think we need to come more often than that. I'm never disappointed when I come here!
