Ezell's Famous Chicken

Decided to stop by for take-out on the way home from a long day. Great choice! The chicken tenders were awesome! The original chicken was very good. The rolls and mashed potatoes are good too. Good service, very attentive and great sense of humor, very light and positive. Great dinner!

Absolutely delicious, Always order spicy because it's mostly flavor and not spicy at all. Plus the original/mild is tasteless and not worth your money. Ezell's makes the best bread rolls you could ever eat. I'm disappointed that this location doesn't offer Faygo beverages. If you're from the Central District and grew up on Ezell's chicken near Garfield High since the mid 90's you know exactly what I'm referring to.

Violently good food for a violently reasonable price? So good! I WILL be coming back for more :)

The employees at this store are stellar. We go there a lot and they always rush over with my food before I even get to the pickup counter. Their customer service should be an example to everyone. My husband is the one who eats the food and he loves it and this store makes the best rolls of any Ezell's 💙

You can dine in at this Ezells! Perfect when I'm hungry at lunchtime. For $12 you will get a fresh hot lunch with drink at this spotless and we'll managed restaurant. It is infinitely superior to any fast food restaurant.

2pc famous chicken, 2pc dinner combo with 2 sides (mac and cheese, cajun fries) and small tenders. All were spicy versions.
To be honest loved the fried chicken so much 😋 it was perfect 👍🏽. Crunchy, crispy, juicy, delicious and tiny bit of spicy (not Asian spicy, american spicy 😂). Fried chicken here is delicious 5/5 and it’s a lot better than all the big chains in America. Chicken strips was delicious 🤤 soo good.
Next time want to try other dishes.

Very good chicken but make sure to get ranch! It's so much better with it. The fries are delicious and they have a nice Cajun seasoning on them. Soft biscuits to go with your chicken as well. I highly recommend Ezell's Famous Chicken!

Great chicken and fast service. I've tried a couple different things here, but I usually go for the tender combo (or lunch special) which is great. The chicken is always fresh and well cooked, and the sauces are delicious. The southern style sides and desserts are tasty too. Definitely recommend!

Pleasantly surprised! I haven't eaten there in awhile. The chicken was moist and tender. We loved the creamy slaw and the potato salad is the best. More like our families homemade flavor.

I have been eating at different Ezell's locations a long time. The prices are on par, the food is like home made and they have good selection of extras. its not a big box chicken joint, so the quality is great. I don't think you will be disappointed with your order here, and if you are, I am sure they will be helpful and receptive.

Ordered 6 lbs of tenders for a party. We were able to order the day of and they were fresh and hot at our scheduled pickup time. Staff was helpful, over the phone, in helping us decide how much we needed to order.
