I've tried other workout programs in the past and haven't seen results, so I decided to try working with a personal trainer. Mike got me started with Andrew, and in just a couple of months I've been able to add more muscle than I was ever able to through teaching myself. Their gym is clean and a great place to train, and the expertise of Mike's trainers gives them the ability to help you with your body's specific needs. Andrew was able to shift my mindset to get me excited to go to the gym and taught me the skills necessary to finally see the results that I've wanted for so long. If you're looking for personal trainers, this is the place to go!

FIT is a great personal training gym that really does "personalize" your experience. My trainer listens to my goals and helps me make a plan to reach them. I have learned how to eat better as well as exercise. I love the encouragement that I get not only from my trainer, but also the other trainers and clients. Mike, the owner, has created a very positive atmosphere so that I actually look forward to going to the gym!

A shout out to my trainer Brad at FIT Personal Training. I originally started training to prepare for a swimming competition last summer. He helped me to build my strength over time with a customized training program that takes into account my age, injuries and goals. We targeted the exercises to help boost my swimming results. I not only did well last summer, but I also am swimming much stronger this summer. As a middle aged man l feel so much better in my body that I've continued with the weekly trainings and hope to be able to do so for a long time. The staff at FIT are all friendly and have amazing relationships with their clients. They are career professionals, not gig economy employees. The owner of FIT has built a remarkable service business and kudos to him as being a small business owner is really tough.

My experience at FIT has been outstanding. I have been a loyal customer for four years. My trainer, Zach Tolchin, invariably kicks my a*#, and every single workout is different from the last. He puts a ton of time and energy into the workout even BEFORE my session starts, to ensure that it will meet my fitness goals and to keep my body guessing about what it will be hit with next. FIT's founder, Mike, also hosts an amazing (complimentary) abs class from time-to-time. You'll hurt (in a good way) for days after it! I also note that although the trainers are top notch, the overhead of the gym is kept low and thus the rates are very good in comparison to less qualified trainers at fancier gyms.

Mike hooked me up with a great trainer. We spoke for about 20 minutes and discussed my goals. I felt very relaxed and at ease. Afterward, he put me to work with specific exercises and explained how each one will help me attain my goals. It was the hardest and best workout I've had to date! I look forward to more training sessions.

I recommend this gym 100%. I was very skeptical of gyms in general but once I learned about the professionalism and quality of work of the owner Mike and all of his staff, which he chooses very thoroughly, I decided to give it a try.
Well, not only was I positively impressed by the great facilities and location, but by my trainer Alvaro, who considered all my age and physical issues to develop a routine perfect for me.
The best workout place in DC and the location couldn’t be any better, close to metro and restaurants, etc.
They made me change my opinion about gyms!

I have worked personally with Mike Everts at FIT, and I know several of the trainers. I would not hesitate to work with any of them. Their depth of knowledge and experience working with a wide variety of people really shines through, and you can count on getting a work out that's specifically geared towards your body, your goals, and your challenges.

If you need a miracle, ask for Brad at FIT. Please, stop whatever you are doing and ask for Brad. I had gained too much weight after experiencing a few deaths in one year. I comforted myself with food. Then, for the life of me, I couldn’t get the weight off. I tried everything on my own, but my efforts did nothing. I was more than 30lbs overweight, headed to 40 lbs. I was miserable and shocked by my pant size. Desperate, I contacted Michael at FIT. Michael paired me with Brad, the nice Australian, who has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Sports Science. I benefited from both degrees. It turns out, I was eating all the wrong foods. I was actually under eating calories. Once I did everything Brad said to do, the weight started coming off, all while eating more calories. I never would have figured this out on my own. It was counter-intuitive. What I’m most thankful for is the lasting diet changes that have kept the weight off. I’m much healthier now and know what foods to increase and what foods to stay away from. If you are desperate, talk to the owner, Michael, and ask for Brad. Then do everything exactly as Brad tells you; I promise you will see results (maybe while eating MORE food). Oh, and the exercise routine established for me never once caused injury. Brad made excellent choices appropriate to my age. If you’re serious about learning and making lasting changes, go to FIT. You’ll learn so much. I couldn’t have done this on my own. I give a big round of applause to the folks at FIT for the excellent service and teaching!

I've been going for 8 months or so and can definitely tell a difference in my health.

I think Mike (owner) says he only hires trainer with at least 5 years of experience and a master's degree, so I don't think you can go wrong (I train with Reggie).

The gym is totally no-frills, and I think that's what keeps prices pretty reasonable for dedicated attention.

I started working out with FIT during the pandemic. So while they are open, I am working through Zoom with Soroush. It has been terrific! I've been advancing and getting stronger. I go twice a week (through Zoom) and also have a plan for one other day to do by myself at home to keep the progress going. I can highly recommend FIT and I know all their trainers are terrific.

I have been training with Kuti for almost 3 years and couldn’t imagine not having him be a part of my physical fitness program. I always look forward to my sessions as he knows exactly how to both challenge and keep me engaged. He designs my workouts to include a combo of strength and balance which I find important to my overall well-being. Kuti freely shares his extensive fitness knowledge so that you will know the importance of every move he has designed for you. He will be your biggest cheerleader on your road to physical fitness. I feel lucky to have found Kuti and would highly recommend him and FIT to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer and gym.
