I'm on vacation, just shopped there. Small and cozy, good variety of items. Their fruit salad bowl is amazing. Great place.

Interesting, in city, miniature, Safeway. The employees are friendly, the self checkout is clean and quick, the store is amazingly well laid out. Even though less than half the size of the usual store I found all I needed, fast.

Always super- friendly staff. Gone there for atleast 10 years. When in town, for work, often get groceries ready to eat.
Competitve pricing and good options including Organic and Fresh Produce. Kusos to the staff. Sometimes, sale prices do not come up at register, and the staff is always Johnny- on- the- spot in ameliorating that issue.

(Photo attached: This is a minor item but for me I purchased 3 or 4 over time from Safeway as gifts. It is a satchel/ sachet of fragrance that warms up any room or car with a mild yet pungent fragrance).

It has great prices, and the entire staff is so professional and pleasant.

Love the way that they've redesigned the store. The isles are still the same sides, but it more accessible. Especially the product department. Very good thoughts went into the new look. Keep up the good work.

Great store, convenient to Dupont Circle area. Good deals, store clerks are helpful, courteous and I have an overall 5 star satisfaction rating.

Surprising large supermarket for an urban area. Good selection of prepared foods. In addition to all the groceries you need, cleaning supplies and basic pharmaceuticals are also available.

Check out lines can get a little busy at times.

This is a wonderful grocery store. They do have a card that you need, which is free, in order to get many of the advertised sales. We did not know that at the time, but the manager helped me get signed up and gave me $25 back on the spot once we were signed up, no questions asked. I would shop here everyday if I lived in this neighborhood.
Someone posted some pictures of the shelves falling down and empty. It is nothing like that. It is safe, clean, and friendly place to shop. It is small, but everything in that area of DC is crowded together so that is to be expected. We were amazed at the variety they had in such a small location.

Small but convenient which you pay a premium for some things. Did not have a bakery or other amenities. Clean and well stocked.

Good grocery store. Has lots of items you don't find in some food stores. I go there to restock my fridge/freezer.

Friendly staff andrese, Mr Tim, Camille, Lawrence and Ricky are always willing to help. They are always in high spirits and get things done

I lived on R st during the worst of Covid, and the employees (especially one of them, he always said hi to me even though I went to Safeway just once a week... I wish I remembered his name) and none of the workers ever seemed “pissed off” and in general were positive and helpful.

I would consider it a boutique grocery store with the exception they had everything you could need. Friendly helpful staff, clean store. Produce looked really good.

Good produce aisle, decent wine selection, plenty of self serv POS so no long queue. That's all I need and they got it

This is the only grocery store I will stop at well in town from Detroit area. I am here in DC a lot and just love the service I get here and the store is always clean.

Very convenient store, I found everything I need and bought some extra that I didn't have on my list but very happy I got them.

Accidentally broke a glass of wine when it rolled off my carts they cleaned everything up and they told me I didn't have to pay for it cuz it was an accident such nice people
