I have had my insurance with JP Hayes for years and I cannot say enough about this agency. These folks know what they are doing! Not to mention that every insurer EXCEPT Farmers is fleeing the home insurance market in California. If you are looking for an honest agent, do yourself a favor and check out JP Hayes Insurance, you’ll be so relieved!

I am updating this review after JP himself reached out to me and my family. We had a dispute with an employee that was disrespectful and JP has resolved our situation effectively and efficiently. He is also an excellent agent that is very thorough and will help see through to make sure that you get the best deal on your insurance. If anyone is looking for an agent to set you up for home or car insurance, look no further because he is the perfect man for the job. He is an excellent agent that treats his customers with integrity, dignity and respect and will discipline his staff accordingly if problems ensue.

I appreciate JP for taking the time out of his busy schedule to amend this situation. I believe that tells you everything you need to know of what an amazing agent JP is and I cannot recommend him enough.

I worked with Joel Podeszwik to setup up several different policies all at once. It was a lot of work and Joel was amazing. He helped me move over 2 auto policies and a home owners policy. He also helped me set up a new policy for a new home in another state we were in process of purchasing (even though he doesn't handle that state and had to coordinate with the agent in that state) and an umbrella policy for everything. He was very easy to work with and always available to answer questions. When we ran into issue with the out of state home owners policy right at closing Joel jumped in and went above and beyond to help us out, even though that policy was serviced by a different agent in the other state. I would recommend working with Joel, couldn't be happier with the level of service he provided during this process. Oh and the pricing was competitive :)

JP is the most helpful and friendly agent I have ever worked with! He helped me and fiance get both our home owners insurance and car insurance with the best deal we could get. I called multiple insurance companies, but no one was ever as proactive and responsive as JP. He walked us through the policies to understand what we were getting. Even after my fiance and I had finalized our policies and later found some things that our policies needed to be updated, JP was quick with getting everything resolved for us.

Janneth from farmers insurance was by far a professional, helpful and courteous and efficient agent who got me covered within one day! Janneth ensured I understood my policy and what it entailed by explained to me in detail of each item that u had questions on. In addition, she compared side by side my current policy from another company i was insured with in (which I'm not satisfied with them)and what I would be getting from farmers insurance. Choosing the right insurance policy to fit your needs can be confusing and stressful. However, JP Hayes was extremely helpful in the process. He was always there to answer all of our questions and explain the different coverages we needed for our business insurance policy. In addition, it's always nice when you can reach your insurance agent directly, rather than calling the 1-800 number and getting a different customer service rep each time.

JP has been extremely professional from the start! Got the best and fastest quote, all paperwork was in order and completed super fast. Later, whenever I had a question, he was always available and replied very quickly and to the point! Can not recommend him highly enough! I called needing a same-day homeowner's insurance policy for a property that had some complicated parameters, and Joel worked with me in one afternoon to get it insured and help me lower the annual premium from ~$2,200 to ~$1,500. He was polite, competent, and efficient — and didn't bother trying to up-sell me on things I don't need. And I found out that Joel only recently started at JP's office. Stoked to find a local provider with national clout.

JP has taken over my policy and all I have to say about that is thank God! He figured out how to not only quote me comparable prices to the poo policy I had with another company, but he got me every discount possible and made sure I understood exactly what the coverages were. I had some issues with the online side for my policy, and JP spent more than a few days working on (and fixing!) my login info for me. Not only is he eager and available to answer any questions of mine, I sent him a couple out of the ordinary situations that he handled no problem. Not once have I been passed to someone else in his office or had trouble getting ahold of him. He has been patient and kind and never seems too busy to handle my policies. JP made an effort to be professional and personable at the same time and I feel confident knowing my policy is in the hands of someone great.

Great customer service! Night and day compared to our previous insurance/insurance agent. JP has a great disposition and goes above and beyond to find the best options for your needs.

We had a sudden flood in our home due to a leaking hot water cylinder. JP was on vacation when I called him, but he still took the time to help get a flood mitigation team into the house immediately, then followed up with a call later to ensure all was underway.

Insurance agents/brokers don't always have the best reputation, however JP Hayes is very different from the stereotype. He works hard for his customers and we now have first-hand experience that when help is needed, he gets involved and doesn't just push all the difficult stuff over to the insurance admin people - he keeps his eye on everything (not all brokers/agents will do this).

Additionally, he when it comes to coverage, he does not try to sell the flashiest, highest cost product. Instead, he is careful to match what we need, to what is provided.
