Young server guy was good, good attitude friendly and even told us the ghost stories.

Recommend they add cottage cheese to the menu lol but great food tri tip was good.

My wife and I always wanted to come here and finally we had the chance. Such a great spot with a lot of history and maybe a ghost or two.... Food was great and the service was just as good

I’ve been coming to the Banta Inn ever since I can remember; so, if you’re in the area, this is definitely the place to eat at.
It’s got good food, a friendly atmosphere, and an interesting history. Portion sizes are generous, and I highly recommend their prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays.
They have a separate bar area too, if that’s more to your liking, and live music on some days as well. Order in or take it away, either is delicious.

Classic, historical roadhouse. If you dig old, authentic roadhouses, you must visit the Banta Inn. It's a very cool spot. The area around it continues to develop, and hopefully, they can preserve this little bit of California's history.

Historical eatery in Tracy. Wonderful place to stop in for a bit to eat. Would recommend. Some really cool items are posted up on the walls here. Look like they have been there many many years. The location and exterior of the building isn't welcoming, but once you are inside ........ Fantastic piece of Tracy History.
