Kip's Cafe

Kips cafe, driven by here a bunch of times! Never knew how good the food was. What a missed opportunity till I went with my boyfriend. We came around 12 for lunch and it wasnt super busy, it was really nice. They told us to sit anywhere and the two waiters who served us were polite and nice. I ordered a lunch special sweet and sour pork and fried shrimp; my friend got sushi rolls and tonkatsu ramen. The food was really good, we will definitely come back!

Love this place. I love their Ramen bowls and family plates. Super delicious!! Great portions and prices. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the owner is a wine lover, plenty of wine as. 🍷cheers. 🙌❤

I've been a Kip's fan for longer than I care to admit! But for those that remember the little place next to the battery shop you'll know how long! LoL The fairly new location is much better and is filled with that wonderful aroma of the cooking food that gets your mouth watering. It's spacious with a good sized outdoor patio area. The service is great if your there off peak, otherwise you know it's gonna take awhile, but hey you know it's worth the wait.

Consistently Great Food And Service every time!! Kips NEVER disappoints! The Fried Rice is amazing. Seriously, you can’t go wrong here. Everything is really good! Lunch specials are the bomb diggity!!

There good food is enjoyed for everyone. Bola Pork and so thick and good with just the seasoning. Ernie's say the chow mein is like his
mother used to make! I never tasted good like this since my father.

I eat here a lot, it's my Favorite. Today was not only Great service & Amazing food (as usual), but I forgot my wallet. They had it there for me with all contents within. This place is is Great!

Kips has always been a great place to eat lunch or dinner. Wing is a excellent host, cook, and wine expert. I can only hope that if he ever closes, or sells, the new owner will keep all his recipes...

I have been searching for the perfect Chow Mein since Peking Cafe closed. I found it at Kip's. Order it with all white meat and it is the closest to perfection I have come. Kips, also, sells their family dinners for one. That is rare. I thought Peking Cafe was the only restaurant left that did that.

Food is great and they give you alot !!! Always have some to take home . Belinda usually helps me and she has been at the establishment for a long time . Try the yakisoba I've never found it the same anywhere else . And garlic chili chicken . Yum

Might be the sake talking but OMG!!! The food is great. Huge portions definitely took allot home. One of the best Chinese food restaurants in east county.

One of those family dining restaurants that has been around for decades and offers signature staples that I just can't get anywhere else. Love their combination of Chinese and Japanese options. Never disappointed!

I come here every chance I get. Great food and service. Sometimes I order take-out and it is usually 10-15 minutes. The staff is always very friendly.

Amazing Food!! Chinese food in SD is not the best, especially coming from N.Y. It's a little pricey but they have great service, clean facilities... Did I say how great the food is! Parking is minimal

Loved our food. My husband and I used to go to Kip's when we were dating over 30 years ago. The food was as good as we remembered.

Kip's has been our favorite Chinese food place in San Diego ever since we first moved here. Now that they've added a Japanese menu there are even more delicious options.

Best Chinese/ Japanese food en east county, hands down!! The only bad thibg is that they close. This place should be open 24hrs, that's how good the food is!!

The service was excellent cordial patient friendly, I had chop suey, my husband had Orange chicken all was delicious. All was cooked very fast.

The ramen and orange chicken is delicious here. I'd recommend adding an "Egg bomb" to your ramen if it doesn't already come with one. Best local ramen.

Just a reminder. They are closed mon, Tue now. Best Chinese and Japanese food out there. Flood them with biz so they have to stay open 7 days a week
