Sooooo great challenging hill. It's short, less than 1.5 miles, but is challenging due to the inclination and terrain.

Amazing views once you get to the top! It’s deff worth it! More of a difficult climb with lots of steps and some steepness to it. It if you go on a sunny day deff bring lots of water, snack and sunscreen! The view is the hills and San Diego is gorgeous. Not too far from the 8 off Mission Gorge Road

Kwaay Paay trail is short but steep (especially the stairs towards the end). Round trip is 2.4 miles. Much less crowded than nearby Cowles mountain. Start early as it gets really hot in the afternoon and there's little shade. Can be coupled with visits to old mission dam (last 2 pictures) and Kumeyaay campground (grassland trail).

What a workout today Paay Peak is very demanding with lots of uphills in embedded rocks..We all thought the same, very rewarding for our leg muscles, I hope you guys come out here for the serenety and scenic landscape..Welcome to sunny paradise San Diego...Thank you for viewing ..D Third Eye
