Janet's Cafe and Deli

This is my favorite place to come have turkey club sandwiches. The service is always good. We had Breanna take care of us and she gave us extra napkins and checked up on us a few times. I always have extra food on my plate when I'm full so I always have to take a to-go box home. I enjoy coming here. I will be back again. Thank you for taking care of me.

I love this cafe! I enjoyed my late brunch here and had a yummy breakfast veggie wrap. It was made fresh and it was nice and warm. I love the nice staff here! They’re all great! I will continue to come here and dine in with my family.

Stopped off while on a morning walk, we were seated right away and given time to get situated before drinks were ordered and brought. It was pretty busy with almost all back outside seating taken and a good portion of inside filled too. They were very quick with refills, getting our order up, and check ins.
We got a Greek Chicken Wrap with fruit -which really hit the spot, really fresh veggies and lettuce, perfect amount of everything and dressing, fruit was fresh too and ripe with nothing overly ripe; and the Country Fried Steak & Eggs with house potatoes -which was not only awesomely crispy and perfectly cooked for both potatoes and steak, but had a great flavor, generous helping of gravy, and a super tasty blueberry muffin for the bread selection.
They never let you down here, service or food.

Food was great even met the owner who actually waited on our table because the waiter took our drink order brought us our drinks and then didn't come back for like 15 mins to take our order. It was actually the manager who seen us sitting there and came over apologized and took our order. He then got our food out quick and came checked on us. Just wish his staff had the same work ethic as him. He brought us our check and apologized again.

The cold cut combo sandwich is delicious! One of my favorite sandwich places ever. And the onion rings and side salad are always good too. I think they use sweet onions or something similar

Both times were fantastic! The first time we ate on the patio, and it was a delightful spot! Many choices on the menu and friendly service. I wish they were open later than 2!

Such delicious food served by wonderful waiters. Really nice, laid back atmosphere here. We sat on the patio and we were comfortable (they have exterior heaters for those cold evenings too). We ordered the Bleu Cheeseburger with onion rings, Philly Cheese Steak with fries, Patty Melt, Empanadas, Bruschetta, Wings and some Shark Bite drinks. ALL of which were so scrumptious and full of flavor. I definitely recommend making this spot your next choice for dining out.

We are camping at Santee Lakes over Thanksgiving and due to some poor planning had nothing to cook for breakfast Friday morning. We had 2 dogs with us, one of which tends to bark a lot if left behind so we tossed him in the car and took off in search of food. The recommended place was near a large shopping center was packed due to black Friday shopping. We did a quick Google search and found this place. They have a dog friendly patio, service was quick and the portions were large. I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and it came on 2 plates. The half order filled the entire plate it was on. Biscuits were moist and tender and the gravy was thick and rich. My wife enjoyed the eggs Benedict and our son had chorizo and eggs. Everything was good and the portions were large. We will hit this place again before we leave for
home.

Food was delicious and generous. Waitress was helpful and sweet. Country music rocking, nice atmosphere, American flag. 🇺🇲

Great breakfast place. We had strawberry pancakes combo with a side of eggs and bacon and the country style eggs Benedict. Pretty view if you sit out back. Great friendly service and reasonably priced.

I am not a breakfast person but my husband is and he really enjoyed it! Big portions for a decent price

The food here is amazing. I forgot to take apic of the entree I just dove right in. We ordered the potato and chorizo tacos- yum and the Oaks Burger which is a shrimp patty. Surprisingly excellent. Pictured here is our appetizer of spicy potatoes- so addictive and stuffed pepperchinis- my husband can't get enough of these!

Absolutely hands down best breakfast in San Diego county. I have tried many places, Janets is go to.

The service was superb and the food is phenomenal with very unique flavors that you will not find anywhere else. I will definitely be going back!

Kitchen Blues band playing, dancing was great! Food interesting, some good. Cocktails made w/ wine. Beer & wine available. 9/25 blues kitchen back, yay!
