I have to share my review about Terri Common Grounds because we had such an amazing experience having our Mission Hills High School Cross Country banquet here. Every single person we worked with was amazing! They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The facilities are gorgeous and everyone (150 people) in attendance felt the same way. I would not hesitate to contact them to host an event here. The pricing is very reasonable and you will not be disappointed. Not to mention every time you or anyone from the community books with them, it goes right back into the development of the Campus, positively impacting the neuro diverse community for life. Go check them out!

Proceeds from this spot support people with special needs. The food they serve is healthy, including gluten-free options. I chose avocado toast. Service was friendly and efficient. It was a quiet spot to stop and unwind. They also offer live music sometimes.

Good clean cafe! I mean it's very new, so to be expected. Food and coffee was okay. Might be back if I'm around. Dog treats were yummy according to my pup 🐶

This was my first visit to this campus and I was so impressed and excited about the work they do, the campus they are building and their vision! The coffee shop is beautiful, open concept with indoor and outside seating. There is an event room availible for reservation next to it and an outdoor BBQ. They offer brunch and their food is made fresh and is truly wonderful.

Nice spot listening to a live jazz band. Service would be five star but you have to wait in the food Lion just to get a drink it can take a little while for people to order so it was slow.
Very nice venue, very friendly people, food was excellent, drinks were cold, and music was live.

This place is awesome! Highly recommend visiting! This café is owned by TERI, the same name of a school in Oceanside, CA, where they help students with special needs. Some of the money they make here goes to funding of that school in Oceanside. This café has tons of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, all flat ground, so wheelchair accessible, one wheelchair accessible restroom for any gender, they sell some foods and lots of drinks, and they sell cute merch and art! I bought myself a beautiful green shirt with the TERI logo on it, as well as a blue shirt for my dog (see photos)! The employees are all kind, they have heaters outside, high chairs for babies, free WiFi, and everything you need. This is definitely a great place to bring family, friends, a date, or even to sit and study. The food and drinks we bought were delicious, and they had live music playing outside (not too loud which was awesome)!

Beautiful location, I accidentally bypassed it at first but finding our way back home was way easier. Lots of open land around, we walked up and there are d plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Friday night and there was even live music on the patio area.

Teri had a great variety of food and coffee/non coffee beverage options on the menu as well as standing fridges with a variety of canned and bottle options (everything from freshly squeezed orange juice to even a large selection of beers and wine). Looked like they even had wine by the glass as well. I got my standard Americano, 30 oz was about $3 +/- and it was really good. The kids opted for hot chocolates which they really enjoyed and they were very reasonably priced.

I got a few chocolate chip cookies and coffee/brown butter/walnut cookies to bring home. My son got a breakfast bagel to snack on (what's better than breakfast around dinner?) And my daughter got one of her favorites, a jalepeno cheese bagel. She really enjoyed it, said one of the most flavorful, best best bagels she has had.

The staff was super friendly and all smiles. It was quite busy for a Friday evening which is good and the staff kept up with the crowd. There is also a cute store where you can purchase some locally made items like jams, jellies and dog treats. Some fun gems, I got a cute homemade ghost magnet. Looks like they also have an event space as well as some fun activities planned.

We'll be back soon, great place to hang out and just relax. Plus Teri is doing a great job helping out their community and great causes. Thank you TERI, Yelp Elite, and Anne for another awesome night out!

What a great hidden gem in north Escondido. This coffee shop and cafe, part of the Teri campus serving those with developmental needs, is a training tool for participants. There is a great assortment of coffees and food. Additionally beer and wine is available and an evening happy hour happens as well. This is a great addition to the community and an organic/zero waste complex from what I understand too. The WiFi is awesome and seating is plenty.

This place is so awesome. They do horse therapy for special needs individuals. They have a restaurant and happy hour. The food is delicious. $5 glasses of wine yes please! If you're passing on deer springs stop by.

A hidden gem on a large piece of property in rural San Marcos, the cafe is an ideal gathering place for family and friends to catch-up over coffee, delicious pastries (jesuit, scones, muffins and more), breakfast or lunch. If you’re not a coffee drinker, there are bottled and canned drinks, tea and smoothies (with choice of protein powder—not your typical sugary concoction). Breakfast options include sandwiches, burritos, an açaí bowl, avocado toast and more! If you look closely at the paper menu, you’ll notice the ingredients are high quality, nutritious and well-rounded.

The two baristas were more than happy to answer my friend’s plethora of questions about ingredients, food prep, and other particulars as my friend has dietary restrictions. She ended up ordering the overnight oats and had rave reviews about the wonderful combo of ingredients saying it was one of the best she’s ever had!

We jumped at the opportunity to spend our money at a place with such a cool mission to serve the special needs community and would encourage you to as well! Looks like plans are in the works to add on to existing structures and construction is underway. They even take care of their construction crew with gluten-free chocolate chip peanut butter oatmeal cookies. At $1 a piece I couldn’t resist myself!

Fantastic coffee and smoothie drinks, great service and the atmosphere/backdrop is unmatched in San Marcos as far as cafés go. It might be a little drive, but we'll worth it!

We recently hosted a rehearsal luncheon at TERI Common Grounds Cafe for about 40 people in the Cornfeather Suite (the space at the back of the Cafe that opens to the back outdoor area overlooking the farm field). We worked with Laura Harrelson and Jackie Kiesel on the table layout, linens, banquet menu, bar and beverages. They were great and everything for the event was fantastic! Couldn't be more pleased with how the event went, especially the service we received during it! All of it was made more special knowing that we were helping with TERI's mission to change the way the community sees and interacts with individuals with special needs. We highly recommend renting this space for a special event or stopping by to enjoy a cup of coffee, pastry, salad or sandwich at the cafe.

Gluten free options. Best coffee I have had after 6 weeks in San Diego and various coffee shop stops.

Awesome food, coffee, espresso and more, in a beautiful setting - and all with a real purpose… furthering the special mission of TERI, Inc. Scratch-made just about everything, like Chef Dan’s ridiculously good red & green salsa with the breakfast burrito. TERI farms source many of the ingredients as well. The Deer Springs Rd area is a food desert no more!

Super cute shop with great food and some delicious food options. The vegetarian breakfast burrito was really good and big enough for me to save half of it for another meal. The staff was very nice and patient when I had a complicated order. Tons of tables and seating and a great place to work on a laptop or talk with friends. Also I love all of the local goods that are available for purchase as well. I plan to go back to purchase a few things as gifts! Definitely recommend. Lots of parking and a beautiful patio space as well. Plus your money is going to a good cause.

What an awesome place! It’s set in a beautiful atmosphere, they have friendly service, and incredible food! My husband and I got the avocado toast, and the grilled cheese. The food was so fresh and full of flavor! We also got the s’more’s cookie and coffee drinks as well. They were delicious, and we spent a lot of time in their store! All in all a fantastic experience! I literally am going to bring all my friends here. I love this place! 😍

I got a Carmel macchiato and an avocado salmon bagel. Was so good my friend devoured a quarter of it. We had to get a second.
