This place was super chill in the morning. The Avocado Toast was one of the most amazing breakfasts I've ever had. The women who ran the shop this morning were welcoming and sweet. Definitely a 5-Star rating♡

I love this art decor inspired place. They used to be a different name and possibly owner, but I'm so glad the new people kept the art decor feel with a modern flair! Coffee is still delicious as always. Looks like a great place to hold an event or have a meeting. Stage was beautifully updated too. Barista was very nice and helpful and made a great espresso!

I love this place for two reasons: 1. They have GREAT teas! You wont find any trashy Stash here. 2. They have GREAT music playing. You'll hear oldies, jazz, and and great world music at decent decibels (thank you for not giving into the club music at all hours trend so many other coffee shops have fallen into). PLUS Steynberg has a bright, open ambiance, great beagles, and rotating artwork! Definitely my favorite place to get work done, get inspired, or get together with friends.

Very relaxing and artistic atmosphere all around. Great teas and coffee, and plenty of treats if you need a small bite to eat.

They seem to not want students studying here with computers, as seen in the lack of outlets, and their tables are a bit small, so it only works as a study spot for one person anyways. If you're looking for a study spot, you might want to go somewhere else. If you want to relax and talk about the arts, this is the perfect place to go.

This gallery and coffee shop is a leading independent place in San Luis. They sponsor art in so many forms and display it and encourage it and are part of the art community. That said let us turn to the coffee. Great coffee and always friendly we stopped there often

Essential college town type spot. Wonderful local folks who happily give insider directions and help me avoid traffic. Loved my latte and my panini. Why would anyone ever go to a Starbucks when community gems like this are available?

This was a friendly place to sit and have a cup of coffee and catch up on the days news. Plenty of seats with good internet and decent bagel sandwiches. If you are staying at any of the hotels on the north section of Monterey then I'd definitely make a point to stop here in the morning or early afternoon.

Always very hospitable. If the employee is new they seem to learn our names very quickly and what we like to drink or eat. They set up a table especially for our large group for every Friday. We spend from 10 till 11:30 and always are welcomed.

Excellent beans ( Intelligentsia) and personable, helpful employees with lots of rotating artwork on display to exhibit good vibes. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who who cares for any of the above... especially the beans,!

A nice place to gather for a Meetup, or to work on a blog post while sipping a tasty latte.

Pro Tip: if you're not going anywhere, you can get your drink in a "for-here" mug and generate less trash!

I'm so picky with my coffee that's it's hard to find a good espresso. Steynbergs coffee is amazing! Breakfast burrito served as a bowl is awesome too

Excellent espresso drinks, chai tea and muffins. Lovely mix of cafe, art gallery and small performing arts venue, with a stage and a bar.

Runaway best study place in slo. The snacks are good, the music is good, the staff is great, and the coffee is the best. The owner has a south african accent, enough said.

Good service, decent breakfast items and they pour Intelligencia. Street parking is easy enough and they have some great walls to show art on.

My favorite cafe in SLO. Catch the morning paper with you latte and then stroll through the gallery of works by fresh art talent.
