Michy's Chino Boricua

Honestly, I couldn't have been happier! They really season their meat properly!!! The mayo sauce should be sold in a bottle!!! Usually, rice is an afterthought but not here! I can't wait to ce back! Keep up the great work!

Food was above and beyond my expectations. Large servings! I was literally full till the next day with the amount of food. Had the sweet and sour and reminded me of the east coast version of the meal. Chicken was exceptionally seasoned and fried to perfection. Pork fried rice was delicious, haven't had pork fried rice like this since we moved from the east coast.

The only complaint are the egg rolls, they were super deep-fried. Borderline rock hard. Might be just my order, but it was dark brown vs. golden brown perfection like the fried chicken.

Highly recommended for the price and large servings.

WOW WOW and just WOW. I came all the way from chicago cause I saw from tiktok this puertorican chinese restaurant and I couldn't believe. The rest its not that close from the city but I didn't care, after landing at Houston IAH I drove another hour to find this place. As soon I arrived to the rest it felt like home, a huge sign that says Michy's Boricua was so beautiful then inside the smells of the food so good and the eating area very clear and new. I came for one thing only and that's the BBQ pork (costilla a la bbq) I ordered 1 and my mom ordered another 1. While I was ordering I saw the owner in the kitchen, I have seen here all the time on tiktok but it was so nice to seen her in person, I told her I came all the way out from chicago and she was so nice and happy to see us here. When we got our food OHH MY GOD, it was just like eating puertorican chinese food straight from the island, it was DELICIOUS. For my surprise the owner stopped by our table and she chatted with us for a little bit, she was extremely nice and was so thankful for our visit to her restaurant, something much managers don't do anymore. In overall I give this restaurant a 200/10, everything was on point and delicious, even the limber the sell were amazing, 100 recommended.

This is my first time to a Puerto Rican Chinese restaurant. It is a nice place and the staff were very helpful.

I liked the sweet & sour chicken and the garlic chicken. The egg rolls were fantastic. Definitely get the egg roll & drink add-on deal.

We and all the other tables waited about 20 minutes for our food, so don’t be in a rush.

I came in for a fried cheesecake around 8:47pm and they had already closed down the register but it say they close at 9pm. So I would advise caution or call first.

Very good food! It’s always nice to find a good Puerto Rican restaurant. For everything being fresh the wait was fast. The mofongo and tostones had excellent seasoning. The sweet and sour chicken has plenty of sauce and and the fried chicken was nice and juicy! They even sell Malta India! And wow the fried cheesecake with guava, just wow! For the quality of food the price was perfect!

Food taste Amazing, mofongo is soft and flavorful. The place was packed for Sunday lunch and they still were able to get food out fast and accurate. Boricua approved!

Clean place and a friendly staff. Right away the person at the front offered a menu with photos to help with our decision.. Had the BBQ ribs and was extremely happy with that decision, only problem is I couldn't stop eating it..

Súper good! We had mofongo and some fried rice. Everything we ordered was delicious. It was super busy on a Saturday afternoon so we took the food to go. It was loud in there and as tables emptied, they would get occupied in a matter of minutes. I do recommend their food, I really enjoyed it.

The food is delicious. I absolutely loved it; the hour drive is worth it.

Food was good with big portions. 2 people can eat from 1 plates. The tostones and carne frita were excellent. The mofongo was different like mixed with potato but ok. Will definitely be coming back.

We stopped in Houston on our way from San Antonio to New Orleans specifically to try Michy's, and we were not disappointed. My husband: "Those were the best tostones I've had outside of Puerto Rico." I agree. The mayoketchup is amazing, second only to my husband's, imo. The jalapeño Churrasco is delicious! Very spicy, but a slow burn if you don't actually bite into the jalapeño slices. My husband enjoyed the garlic chicken, and we both loved the fried rice. We both thought the mofongo was made very well but could have used some salt. Our experience was so good we stopped at Michy's again on our way home to enjoy it again and to take home a large order of fried rice the whole family will enjoy tonight.

Some of the best fried rice I ever had. The while experience was amazing. Huge portions. A great fusion of 2 great cultures! Will definitely be a regular spot.

This place is a gem. It's super popular with drive thru and dine in options. I got the garlic tofu and it was creamy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. I also got one piece of fried chicken to check it out and I see why people buy the whole buckets. My family also ordered fried rice, garlic chicken and peppered steak. Make sure you check out this unique place.

The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that there's not one in Austin where I live! The food here is unbelievable! The barbecue boneless ribs melt in your mouth and the pork fried rice is probably the best I've ever had in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Wiw the level of customer service is top notch, then the food comes so fresh sreaming hot and absolutely delicious. The mango juice so yummy. We're in love with this place. 787 roll is hitting your taste buds!

I really wanted some lo mein and this place has a large plate that hits all the marks. The everything lo mein truly had everything. The egg roll was fried to perfection as was the chicken thigh. I came in to order and it only took about 10 minutes for me to walk out with my food.

Ordered the family meal with orange chicken and enchilado and it was absolutely delicious. Better than a lot of full restaurants I’ve been to and definitely better than panda. The chicken is actually chunks of chicken and not just a bunch of breading. They give you a huge portion of rice that is really good as well. I’ve never had a tostone before but I could not eat enough of these. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.

First time here ! The food was delicious and the portions were large. We got ALOT of food and the total was very reasonable. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because there was a strong nail salon smell as soon as I walked in.
