Great old school, no frills spot for a beach lunch or dinner. Solid burger and onion rings - hasn't disappointed for decades.

Cash only though, so be prepared.

Love stopping at the spot Everytime we visit carpinteria state beach park. Remember cash only, they do have an ATM on site.They have a few tables.
Cheeseburger with chili cheese fries was delicious. My husband had fried clams and he enjoyed his meal.

Heard this was the "SPOT" for a great burger. It was great. I ordered chili cheese fries too. Amazing. Was in town for a little vacation and this place was recommended. Easy pick up. Cash only. Local hangout. Will definitely return.

Great place! Very tasty food. I had a dbl cheeseburger, fries and a chili dog, it was to much food for me. Very popular place, there was a line of about 12 people in front of me but only took 10 minutes to get to the window and about 5 minutes to get my food. Friendly staff plenty of parking in the rear. There are 4 or 5 tables with umbrellas outside.

For what this iconic burger hut represents, this place deserves 5 stars. It's been there for 60 years, and I was SO stoked to show it to my grandkids. It made a great lunch stop on our recent bike ride on the Rincon Trail. Kids loved their Rootbeer Freeze and chocolate chip milkshake!

This place it amazing. It did take a little long to order the food. The cashier wasn't very fast at her job. But once we ordered we sat down and the food was ready in like 10ish min.

You get the old school, beach, and fresh vibe. The food is amazing. The burger looks and tastes home made. They give you a big burger. The fires are ok. They weren't worth finishing. Just get one frie to share with someone else I promise you you aren't going to want to get seconds. The burger is super juicy!

Always went to this place when I was younger and tastes and looks the same.

A must hit when in Carpentaria. Everything is so good and the staff are so nice.

I have always been a fan of the breakfast burrito. It is enough to feed a hungry guy!
The counter staff always seems to have an attitude. I know it's high season, and it is busy, but a smile goes a long ways.
This restaurant is walk up counter, some limited seating. But food is good.

I ordered chili cheese fries and pastrami sandwich- I was too full to even try to sandwich but the fries are sooooooo good.

Oct 2, 2021 I went for a run for My Cdcr physical test, I was hungry & Wanted a healthy option so I stopped by because where you find a Hamburger joint, They serve salad as well. I bought a salad, Added chicken & Shrimp Omg!!! best saled I ever had! Definitely stop here

Food was delicious! People there were great! They had quite the crowd around lunch time, that's how you know it's good. A lot of locals there.

Awesome food, friendly staff. They offer everything from seafood to burgers, fair prices. Their old fashioned malts are extremely scrumptious.

A clear local favorite for shakes, malts and burgers. I wasn't expecting their veggie burger to slap quite so hard either, but it was delicious, as well as their clam chowder and regular burgers. I can tell why this spot rose to local popularity.

My buddy suggested that we stop by The Spot while visiting some breweries in Carpenteria. It definitely met the expectations set by him. The burgers were juicy and toppings crisp and fresh. I had bacon on mine which was perfect. I will have to remember to bring cash when I come back being cash only. Will be back the next time I'm in Carpenteria!

This place is wonderful. The burgers are yummy and I alway appreciate buns that are soft and fresh. The strawberry malt is so good you’ll remember it. They only take cash but they have an ATM behind the store.

This is a cool little take out spot with a small patio that has tables. There's a large menu it has a little bit of everything but they're very well known for their burgers. It is a cash-only place. There's generally a line at the order window. The sidewalk can get crowded with all the people lining up to order or waiting for their food.

Been coming here my whole life and now I have shared it with my Mother in law and she loved it. Oh ya that across the street from the SPOT the real last drive me and my 98 Gsr Vtech had together trust me it's worth the drive.

Great service, impressive quality and brilliant taste. It has definitely lived up to my expectations.
