Siam Elephant Thai Restaurant

Siam Elephant is one of the best Thai places in Carpinteria. The owners here are extremely friendly and their cooking techniques definitely reflect their strong Thai cooking background. Although the flavors may not a hundred percent resemble the ones in Thailand, the technique is there, resulting in the flavors being very aromatic in some of their specialized dishes like their Pad See Eew, Penang Curry, and Chicken Satay.

I am a Thai person travelling in the USA and had lunch here. It is a wow to taste the food. It seems like coming home and guaranteeing this is the authentic food they provided me.

We felt that we had died and gone to heaven. My husband said he enjoyed every bite! He asked for a little more heat in his dish and it didn't disappoint. His Mexican palette was saying, "¡Está comida está chingona!" That means it was super friggin' good 👍 The food is amazing. My favorite Thai dish is Massamam Curry. I picked up a few different flavors, like cardamom, which traditionally isn't used in this dish, but it was fantastic. I also ordered the Tom Kha Soup. OMG, it was amazing. Carpinteria is a small town, but if you love Thai food and are passing through, give it a try. The staff are friendly, very friendly and you can tell that they have developed a great relationship with the locals.

We always come here for lunch, the services is great, the food is amazing, and the prices are reasonable. The lunch includes soup or salad, egg roll, and the main course. Recommended!

Amazing delicious food. Every dish we order, it is always full of flavor. Second time here and it's now a must to eat at with each Carpinteria visit. Delicious!

We had intentions of eating at the Busy Bee however they closed at 2:00PM!
So we walked a couple of blocked to Siam Elephant- wow! HUGE menu with lots of options!! My curry was delicious and the Salad was amazing!

the waiter was super friendly and understanding on my vegan diet. I had the pad tai without egg and it was delicious. cute outside patio and umbrellas for shade. this was a great place and would definitely come again. very relaxing and laid back.

We really enjoyed this Thai restaurant. Ordered for pickup the Pad See Iew, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Beef Fried Rice. They all tasted great and even though we weren't given any soy sauce, it really didn't need it. I enjoyed each bite and would definitely try this place again.

The best tasting Thai food for years!!

I have been coming to this Thai place for the last ten years or so. Every time I visit Carpinteria this is the place I look forward to dine in. Their flavors are authentic, their portions are ideal, and they have great deals on their menu. I highly recommend you try this place!

Their service is efficient, friendly, and always accommodating. The restaurant has indoor & outdoor seating with a zen beachy vibe.

Dinner time can get busy but totally worth a nice dinner date and a beach stroll after.

Yea buddy, this is the best place for food in town... The portions are generous and if you get a combo you will leave stuffed. Service is good and the patio is nice. They are super accommodating to vegans and vegetarians which is a plus and they know what is or is not vegan. Went here two nights in a row, it was that good! Highly recommend the eggplant basil dish.

My favorite restaurant in town! A small walk from the beach, Siam is the perfect restaurant to bring a date. Great servers (all of them), and a cozy environment with ambiance. Highly recommended this place!

If you like Thai, I wouldn't hesitate. Many options on the menu, and friendly staff. We visited with our kids, and it was perfect. The little ones loved the coconut water - it was a real coconut! The food was delicious too. We even took the left overs to the hotel and had them the next day. Public parking is just around the corner, so parking was no issue.

This place was really yummy, and I eat thai food a lot! The pad see ew had a lot of flavor, the egg roll was actually quite delicious, and everything was super reasonably priced. I paid $18 even for a thai tea, the pad see ew lunch special, that comes with a salad w/peanut sauce, an egg roll, 2 fried wontons, a scoop of rice, and a side of sauce. My friend got the yellow curry, and that was delicious as well. The coconut ice cream was fantastic, and the whole place has an overall nice atmosphere. Would totally come back here:)

oh my lordy lord yall literally need to come here its crazy scrumptious and affordable and caters very well towards vegetarian diets. i devoured my lunch at a worrying pace and did not feel any discomfort afterwards (veggie stir fry with tofu). everyone here is incredibly pleasant and the food will knock your socks off (guaranteed). million/10

Location is amazing by the beach and outdoor seating is so wonderfully decorated. We ordered Spicy veg noodles, pineapple fried rice and panang curry. The flavor was so amazing in all the dishes:) loved everything! Thai ice tea n coffee option without ice was a rare choice which I really enjoyed. Thank you for great service n tasty lunch😇

Food and service is outstanding! Finding thai food this good in a sleepy little beach town like Carpinteria is such an added bonus. You will not be disappointed. Pad Thai and Chow Mein were fantastic!

Delicious Thai food! Their yellow curry, panang curry and spicy fried noodles are ultimate! Must try!! I give 4 stars because they can do a better job in customer service. This place is mostly crowded and it takes a long time to place an order because there is just one attendee on counter. If you try to call and place order, they will put you on hold and take orders of people present there. So it would be better if one person just takes care of orders on call and one person for people present there.

Overall food quality is great! But be prepared to wait!!

We've had 3 dinners in row there. Everytime tried different and delicious dishes. Cozy place has great menu options and quick service. I became a noodles fan. Great job guys!
