In customer service and product. I know this store is closing and I never would have heard about this store until I opened an ad in the East Bay Times two weeks ago. I was looking for a reclining couch for my neighbors, not only to replace a well worn couch they had, but to thank them for many kind acts of kindness they have displayed to me over the years. When I called the store to inquire about a beautiful three seat couch (both sides were recliner chairs and the middle a stationary seat, did I have the pleasure and great fortune to have the phone operator direct me to a salesman on the floor. His name is Bill Sherman. I told him I had inherited some money from my dad at his death and wanted to do something nice for Phil and Virgilia (the neighbors). This man is not a typical salesman. He is a truly special guy who listened to my story and was on board at the get go for my desire to pay it forward to my very deserving friends.

The drivers came early last Saturday morning, delivered and set up the couch and were so courteous and happy to be of help. I live in Pleasant Hill, about 40 miles from Santa Clara. If you have the great fortune to live in Santa Clara and visit this store before it closes, please ask for Bill. I asked him if I could relay my utter satisfaction with his service to his management team and he said to just write a nice review about the store on Google or Yelp. Bill is an excellent representative of Russell's Furniture.

Again, if you get a chance to walk in and find something you like at a great price, ask for Bill Sherman to assist you. I guarantee you will leave the store feeling like you made a friend! I have only talked to him over the phone and I know, if I lived in Santa Clara, I would certainly make a trip to Russell's furniture to meet him.

Our salesperson Nina was wonderful -- and the delivery crew headed up by Mitchell was excellent. Very good quality furniture and a super shopping experience.

Surprised at the negative reviews. A lot of people don't understand that the retailer sometimes gets hung out to dry by the manufacturers they represent. If a manufacture delays shipment to the retailer -- that's not the retailer's fault -- and they don't deserve to get dinged for it.

These guys are great -- and I'm very happy to support a locally owned and operated family business.

The old man gave us the LOWEST PRICE on a wonderful 2 motor, metal frame Recliner, after we Quickly returned the new and sticky lever, wood frame, expensive recliner across the street!

Store is closing! We got the deal...reclining loveseat and recliner, fully electric with usb, leather and under $2000 with tax and w/ delivery. Thats 70% of the original price. Hurry and shop, lots of bargain priced to move. Of course, they will bargain too. Kimmerlee was awesome, she'll get a price you might like better than what's in the piece you're looking at.

Russell’s sell an outstanding selection of quality furniture. I personally know this because I am a sales representative in the furniture industry for over 30 years.

It’s amazing the amount of volume of Amish Furniture that Russell's Furniture sells every year. In Holmes County Ohio that is the largest Amish community in America they have earned a first class reputation as an excellent retailer to deal with. This high volume gives many members of the Ohio Amish community the impression that they are operating multi stores in California.

You won’t find another display in the bay area quite like the one you’ll see there. The people were pleasant but the buyer was demanding on only selling extremely high quality furniture. If I were shopping around I would definitely stop by their new location in Santa Clara.

Michael Lavaf helped us find the perfect couch! We told him what we were looking for and he showed us all the couches and was very knowledgeable about the different manufacturers. We bought furniture from Russell's 20 years ago that we still have.

Huge place. Prices seem decent. Nice salesman named Bill greeted us at the door and let us browse while showing up once in a while to answer our questions. Good experience overall.

The Amish dining room tables are amazing! Hand made, gorgeous, outstanding quality! Many quality pieces and the sale is great right now.
